In het eerste en tweede deel (1st Decade, 2nd Decade) van deze Metropole Orkest: 75 Years in Perspective serie zijn tracks met Tony van Hulst (zang en gitaar), o.a. de Gypsy Song, te vinden.

I had the pleasure, to enjoy the MO several times during the last years , always a pleasure .I guess, the reason, why the dutch government etc. founded the MO 75 years ago will also be important reasons to keep the MO "alive"... whenever I find the time, I take my time"off" the actual situation and listen to godd music. Thank you so much!

Also the song was chosen to celebrate them existing 75 years and that they will go on no matter what even though there's no income from shows in these times. Just bopping in to say 'tHe OriGInaL WaS bEttER' , so original...
Yeah, I think people are misunderstanding the comment here. He meant that other than the original, this is the best version. Basically what he meant is that this is the best cover of this song that he has ever heard.
