Hands down the best rendition of the National Anthem, _ever_ , gave me the chills. Nick Sirianni wasn't the only one with tears in his eyes. A performance like that is bound to evoke some serious emotional feedback. Stapleton became an icon that night.
Chris stapleton is to country what elvis was to rock and blues. Opening doors people had shut. Chills to this day watching and listening to this and to top it off playing the guitar like a modern day Picasso

This version of the national anthem hits your right in the soul. This is how a national anthem should be sang, makes you emotional and proud of your country.
Tough as an American to watch and listen to this and not get emotional. Regardless of what side of the political fences you stand on or believe in, hearing that makes you feel proud to be American, despite how messed up things in this country can be at times.

He is performing as he lived all the lines of the anthem , and he is emotionally telling the story to a close relative. It is admirable how some talented people can transport themselves to another reality and show all the emotions that are hidden underneath the words. Chris voice may not reach the higher notes , as some other people do, but our emotions went far beyond that, with his performance.

Whitney‘s rendition of the national anthem at the Super Bowl should be disqualified because she didn’t see it live. She sang it in a studio and they played it over the speakers while she lip synced
It's interesting to see Siriani and Kelce and contrast their reactions to Patrick Mahomes. I have no clue what he was thinking or how he internally processes things, but compared to most of the crowd, he looked like he'd rather be getting a red hot poker up the ass than to be their listening to Stapleton singing the anthem.

I just watched the Chris Stapleton one and the Whitney Houston one back to back. Hands down Whitney killed it. She set the standard and it still hasn’t been met but, by god Chris Stapleton was pretty frickin good!
