Good afternoon. I'm watching almost all of your videos and I'm loving it😍, I'm Brazilian and I live in Boston, MA. I'm an aromatherapist, and I was making soaps with another process, but it's getting expensive. I found this cold process interesting and faster. I'm trying to understand all the videos, because my English isn't that good yet. Do you sell class ebooks? Thank you, Alexandra.
Would it be possible to get the straight lines without a scraper by just tilting the mold and pouring the sides separately -- tilting it to one side and pouring, letting that set up, and then tilting it the other way and pouring again? Then, do the charcoal line and the embed?
You could do that technique with melt and pour but without a very thick trace it may be difficult to accomplish this same sort of design with cold process.
great video. fun trying new technique. When I use the cured soap, I'm getting black drips everywhere from the charcoal lines. I'm probably not going to give these out without a disclaimer yikes
Hello Ann Marie !!!!! I have questions ..I have tried doing the melt and pour SLS FREE soap ( goat milk ) ( double boiler ) it comes out extremely bendable … I have done many trials ….. less oil , no oils , less herbal powders , I even tried adding 1tbsp of stearic acid to 1lb of SLS FREE SOAP ……. I think I came to the conclusion that I need to use the melt and pour soap that have sulfates in there to get that hard bar Please help! Also my powders sink to the bottom I blend as much as I believe I can
Hi! Our melt-and-pour bases can accept up to 5% additives or about 0.8 oz per lb. This includes fragrance, colorants, oils, etc. More than 5% additives tend to cause bendy soap and/or separation.
Mam I’ve tried that … 0.8 oz is equivalent to about 1.5 TBSP of additives or 4.8 tsps Still bendy and powders to the bottom That’s why I stated soaps that have sulfates and the other ingredients will make a hard bar soap versus the melt and pour soap without SLS
Love this, however whoever filmed this spent way too much time focusing on the host’s face ! While we just wanted to see the product while she’s working on it!
I was looking at options for family Valentines gifts and had forgotten this one. Thanks for the reminder and tutorial on cutting your own scraper. ❤
Very cute idea for Valentine’s gifts.
Thank you Ann. Arie for making this video. Really helps!
Love the blue ones more than the red. Will make a great set letter for her and him.
Love it! Thank you for letting us enjoy this beautiful idea.❤❤
You are so welcome! We're glad you like it! 💜
WOW! This makes want to up my soap making skills! Thank you!
Wow! They look beautiful!

Thank you so much!
Mandy J slays this design too ❤
Cool! Add painters tape around the edges before adding charcoal. Pull away so you can make a clean top. Just an idea.
Great idea! That is something we will keep in mind for future recipes and projects!
That is how I do it.
I was thinking the same thing 🙂
So cute.
Loved it beautiful how cute and inspiring 😍
This made me think of The Blue Valentine-one of my favorite books as a kid. 💙

Pretty
I love this soap ❤️💙
Cute ❤
How original! : )

I ❤ your singing 🤗
Another option to seal the scraper is to cut it from heavy card stock and use a laminator to fully seal it.
That's a great idea for those looking for a more durable option!
Your top is so cute! Where is it from?
New soaper here. When adding lye to melt and pour how long did it take for the soap to cure?
No lye for Melt and pour, is already ready to melt and add your coloring preference.
Ok. I went back and watched. I thought Anne Marie added the lye to m/p. I walked away from the screen. 😂🤦🏾♀️

Where can l get that glass bowl with spout and handle.
Any other method of WHITENING soap without TD?
That is an old Kitchenaid 5 qt mixing bowl and you might have to thrift for one. We've not found a good substitute for TD yet.
Can this be made with melt and pour?
It can 💜
I tried searching for Meet Your Maker on Disney+. Am I looking for the correct series?
It is Meet Your Maker Showdown and you can find it on Discovery Plus and Amazon.
The full name of the series was Meet Your Makers Showdown on Discovery+
Anne Marie, how does the soap adhere with the black charcoal line separating the two sections?
It does because the charcoal line is so thin!

Thank you for your feedback!
Yes!!! I thought the same thing. Give us more close ups (of the soaping process)!
Yes!! And we were zoomed in way too close - don't need to see Ann Marie's pores 😂🤣
Rude shame
Why didn't you just put in the fragrance in the batch at the beginning?
If you add the fragrance at the beginning it can cause your batter to thicken too much to really work with this recipe in the amount of time you need!
I thought the Meet Your Maker series was on Discovery+ not Disney+.
Yes, you are correct. It is on Discovery+
😂
So difficult . Is this melt and pour or cold soap process ? Thanks
This is a cold process soap recipe.
