But, there's a shocklingly small amount of information you need to know to make a lot of songs. So, in this video I'll be showing you the bare minimum! Watch this FL Studio tutorial then IMMEDIATELY go make something, DO NOT get stuck in tutorial hell! I gave you the bare minimum so you can get making ASAP

@サミー-n3j Thank you!!! :,)) I noticed so many tutorials tell you like.. too much to start 😂 you really only need to know how to place your drums, get an instrument, place notes, and mix a little. Then you're good to make like 90% of songs with practice 😂😂

respectfully, the bit about ignoring the knobs surprised me. I don't know anything but that's always been the most fun part about playing with DAWs for me. fiddling with those knobs, learning what they do, and arriving at a sound that's unique to my taste. "does a guitarist make their guitar" is more like saying does an electronic artist code their own software. guitarists love to play with the knobs on their effect pedals.
@jamalcalypse that's fair, but, I don't think knowing any of the knobs is particularly important the first time opening FL Studio, and a lot of times synths with a BUNCH of stuff on it can seem too intimidating to wanna jump into for some. So, I'm just here to tell them nobody cares if you just take a preset for now so newcomers can enjoy the audible feedback of unique fun sounds they can play with an start getting inspired to make something.
However. I do agree, I love messing with knobs I AM the knob nerd 😂😂 I'll def make a video about knobs in the future. But, not a bare minimum knowledge thing imo
if you press the track word in the fl sampler, you can also send it straight to the mixer with a color and a name

Creating melodies are hard which is why you throw in a shit ton of music theory. Unless your a talented mf who can just place things
@sillysnowboot It's true, def too much to learn for the bare minimum. For the most part, I believe if someone simply listens to plenty of music, then with trial and error they can intuitively just figure it out what just sounds good together before honing in on music theory.
Maybe I'll try an actual music theory episode 😂 its very subjective tho. Me personally? I LOVE dissonance. But other people may hear that and think a wrong note was played yk?
