Good looking addition! Another tip I used for my install was to put a small piece of painters tape at the top, bottom, front and back of each pad after using the same tape to hold the pads in place. This allows me to inspect my placement on each side, and then the reference points make it easy to place the pads in exactly the same place when I’m ready. Keep up the great work!
I literally just installed these knee pads on my bobber black on Monday. Mine has the matte finish and it looks great. They fit so precise that you'd never think it wasn't a bobber specific part. I also installed the Montone Union Jack throttle body covers in the black finish. I know you reviewed these a while back. My throttle body covers did come with the brass bolts, but I opted to used the stock ones. Very happy with Motone's parts.
This was actually the first thing I did with my Bobber Black. They seemed a little gray at first, but the contrast was very nice and now it's getting darker.
The tank pads look great Stuart! I am a fan of them. I was toying with the idea of putting them on my Speedmaster, but a few other folks said no, it wouldn’t look that good. They say it looks better without them. I hugged my T-100, and tank pads were a much needed item, whereas with my Speedmaster, my knees don’t naturally come into contact with the tank I think because of the riding position. I really love what Motone has done with the Union Jack 🇬🇧 on these pads ! They’re just crackin’ !! Always appreciate your videos Stuart! Thanks again 👍👍
Hi Don! thanks for your comment! these things are always a matter of personal taste, some people like the idea and some dont! just go with what pleases you!
A simple tip. Use a weak solution of soap and water on the tank or pad adhesive. This will allow you to move and place the pad where needed. Once in place the soapy water will dry and the pad will be permanently placed. Stuart I love your videos. Scott from USA.
Greetings from across the pond, Stuart. May I ask, if you had to pick between the Bobber and the T120 as your only bike, which would you pick and why? Thank you, sir.
Love your informative videos Stuart. But, if you are one of those people that can't draw a straight line could you not use a 6" scale and masking tape to set your borders for the pads first?
Looks good. On a side note, I appreciate the showing of the product as apposed to a talking head. All too often reviewer's mug is flapping away in front of the camera and no product in sight. Thanks
Yes! I don't like selfie-videos and looks like Stuart has realised why! Only a few have a face everybody wants to look at all time and many times it's the one opposing you at the breakfast table!
Great vid, well presented, filmed, and detailed. Have to say I must stop watching your Bobber vids as I'm being seduced by its beauty. Too anal to buy any black vehicle but I have say that Black Bobber has grabbed me by my bobbing balls and has me seriously considering procurement. And it'll be your fault should I make it so!!! Thank you for continuing to post such wonderfully crafted material, all the best sir. Cheers!!
splodge 57 I’m sure your wrong mate, I’ve had five friends do the factory tour and seen the videos of the tour on TH-cam. I was told the triumphs for the British market are built in Leicester U.K.. If you have any information, I would be interested to know. Thanks

Got the pads, but rubber looks grayish, like old. Anyone had same experience?
What you are seeing is called "bloom" it is engineered into synthetic rubber to prevent dry rot. It should wash off.
Is this the new 'baby' ?
Ah... yes, where have you been Mark?
stuart fillingham I have been watching all the videos in the wrong order!

The flag of Thailand perhaps more apt.
