still happy with my 2016 T120 red and silver that came with heated grips a center stand and pillion grab rail as standard ! something that also disappeared was the chromed rocker box cover /camshaft cover replaced with powered coated black
Aesthetically pleasing but, my perennial complaint continues: Why do some of these models (not the Scrambler 1200 or Rocket 3) have the cheap looking exposed pinch-weld fuel tanks? The original tanks, after which these retros are framed, have the iconic “sculptured” tanks (no exposed pinch-weld) and they look (and feel) so much better.
“Hand painted lines”… 🤨 Yes they look like they are, but the rest appears to be the usual sticker/transfers decals! 😞 (I will concede the white and black looks pretty nice).
@MGT.joseee it's a beautiful machine, and drives wonderfully. Excellent mpg (65-70mpg with decat and performance pipes). But, the alternator failed and was recalled with others, the 02 sensor came on and the gear lever broke before 7000 miles. I love the thing but should have trusted my instinct and bought a honda
Cool. Keeps the interest fresh and there's nothing wrong with the Bonneville line! One thing: They really look good, but actually painting the name "Icon" on the livery just feels disingenuous and a bit insulting. If you have to scream it... Triumphs ARE the real deal.
I love this new Icon range....all beautiful but the T100 and the Bobber are for me. One of each pls Sir!..... ooooh and can I have that Speedmaster too pls? (Seriously though I still prefer the cherry and white T100 and I'd go for that over this Icon edition.....but it's a mightily close choice. However I do prefer this Icon edition Bobber over the std black Bobber)
Yay! Yay! I am excited. More limited editions. You can't have too many limited editions. I am so excited. Yay! Yay! Well done Trumph!!! You have your finger on the pulse of the market. Yes you do. Yay! Yay! Yay! >yawn
Didnt expect the recent upgread of speed twin and thought triumph will do so to the T100 and 120 but we will have to wait. I would like better suspension and breaks for the T120 and perhaps a few more horses please but no I’m mistaken. Guzzi new V7 perhaps coming? Please leave your comments 😂👍👍. Massive thanks to Motobob
Sorry unrelated but i need advice, what would you (or anyone) recommend for a first sports bike out of r7, daytona 675 or cbr650r? Commuter and weekend rides too, thanks
I would think the Daytona or CBR would be way to go. R7 a better track machine but more aggressive. The Triumph and Honda more practical for a daily ride in my opinion.
Don`t want to be negative but to me the icon graphic does not work, maybe if it was a third smaller in overall size it might look better. I was hoping that they might have put tubeless spoked rims on the T100 & T120 for 25. Tube punctures are a major pain, especially when touring...
Having slagged off some of the recent Triumph updates I do think these Icon editions are very nice looking but they are certainly not bargains ! Not many of even the most ardent Triumph fans would have recognised that old 1907 logo, I like it but I’m not sure any of these bikes are special enough to warrant that old logo 🇬🇧
I own a 2019 model t120 . Chrome rocker cover, centre stand ,grab rail, heated grips and radiator guard all included then . Now all extras you have to purchase . They even fit a plastic chain guard on the latest model compared to metal on older models .
i want to get a bike, im a new rider, mature 26 old, i dont know if my logic works, but i respect the machine and i want to begin with the boneville t100 as a first bike, is it possible for a beginner to start with this one? i dont want to begin with the scrambler 400 and then have to sell it, too much work
They're two fairly different styles aside from their price. I just got a Scrambler, it's very light and flickable, doesn't heat up near as much as the T100, which is always nice in traffic. Opens up more possibilities for exploration off the beaten path than the T100. I love it, can't recommend it enough! Can see myself keeping it for a while. Cheap and very fun! I've owned bikes double the power and like this one just as much if not more FWIW. Go for it :)
All I want is the gold 1907 logo on an all black Bobber, all these stickers/detailing/logos is too much and tacky, like giving a lady an engagement ring, then producing matching earrings. Next they will be doing Elvis editions....
Very nice but where can I buy one ? My local Triumph dealer has just ceased trading. There's nowhere for servicing or support for many miles. What's happening, I thought the new 400 was selling like hot cakes and keeping dealers in business.
So the much needed updates to the Speed 900, USD suspension, full LED lightning..., while making it uglier, are not to be had on the now much nicer Bonneville 900 for at least another year, just a paint rip-off to make you feel special and unique... That's why I'll stick with Japanese honesty, thank you very much, Triumph.
I wouldn't buy it. Too old timey. It would befit a bike with 1 cylinder air cooled, making 4 horsepower. Triumph didn't get the memo to quit with all the cheap black on the rims and engines and lights, I see.
Hi, this is Divakar from India, actually I am looking to buy Scambler 400 X. My question, now 2024 is ending year right, if I buy Scambler 400 x this year 2024. If Company will launch with new updatates 2025 Scambler 400 x. Suggest me can I wait or I can purchase?

I remember the lovely silver jubilee edition bonnie in 1977.
That was a special edition unlike a a few stickers and a bit of paint .
These look great, better than the Chrome and Stealth editions in my opinion.
Put the metal Triumph badge on more models.
Wow, bold new colours
T120 got the vote from me... OG style with that old school logo
Aesthetically pleasing but, my perennial complaint continues: Why do some of these models (not the Scrambler 1200 or Rocket 3) have the cheap looking exposed pinch-weld fuel tanks? We need a Bobber 900, the current model is a sweet bike but so expensive!
But it's so sweet
Good shout! Don’t need to go fast on a bobber…..
I've been saying that for a while now. And perhaps a Speedmaster 900 while they're at it too? 😊
I feel the urge to order a T100! Had a 2018 Speed Twin, then a 2022 Speedmaster. The T100 icon may be in my future 😊
Btw, love your channel! Keep up the great work!
“Hand painted lines”… 🤨 Yes they look like they are, but the rest appears to be the usual sticker/transfers decals! 😞 (I will concede the white and black looks pretty nice).
Yeah problem is the stickers fall off over time. If the Triumph gold branding on the tank sides were actual paint it would have been cool though.
Happy with my 900 scrambler gold line. Very happy. I will never sell it.
They are beautiful. I'd trade the paint for cruise control on the 900s.
Stealth edition paintwork is the best tbh.
Not on the purple. Too dark, not people enough. I still bought it, cause it's purple
@@logangodofcandy Nothing wrong with Deep Purple. A great classic rock band.
@@logangodofcandy black and red on the speed twin, I want the t120 black edition as well. Soon come.
Triumph paint department flexing 💪
I ride a 2014 triumph se and Love that Triumph puts style over horse power.
Nice! Not sure about the £800 though. Reckon I could get an actual one-off paint job for that kind of money.
Good video, they are nice looking, but I wouldn't say as eye popping as the Chrome editions were... More like the goldline editions to me.
Missing the thruxton ❤️🩹
I wanna see icon edition of Speed 400 and Scrambler 400x also. Cause, why not?
❤ just beautiful!
Would love to deliver my bacon on the Scrambler 1200 XE Icon edition for sure.
The Speedmaster Icon edition would also be pretty sweet.
I have a 2022 goldline t120 and it's a beautiful
Please tell us your owner impresions. Im looking forward to buy one
For me is the most. 🙌🙌🙌

@@ilikelampshades6 thank you
@MGT.joseee Sorry I made a mistake. I said the clutch lever broke. It was the gear lever not the clutch lever
I think the Speedmaster has got my eye this year.
I really like these!
Are they all with tubed tyres?
Not the Scrambler 900
BOBBER FOR THE WIN❤
I have the T100 2023 model, but I would expect there to be updates that are not just visual, for example beyond LED lighting
Very nice,👍
RE Bear 650 please and thank you!!
The Bear 650 looks great but the power to weight ratio needs more work. I think It has all the style of a Triumph though
First. The bikes are all gorgeous
How about a 360 crank for iconic. No decal or paint can beat that.
At least they're a bit classier than that Ducati Scrambler rizla-or-whatever special you recently reported on
I’ve been looking at a adventure/tourer for me and my gal.
But Nope, I’ve changed my mind.
The Speedmaster is the one!!!
Just made a down payment on a 2025 T120. Can’t wait to ride it.
So basically there's no new hardware, more to the visual art, and how much more does triumph expect to get out of this.
Cool. Keeps the interest fresh and there's nothing wrong with the Bonneville line! One thing: They really look good, but actually painting the name "Icon" on the livery just feels disingenuous and a bit insulting. If you have to scream it... Triumphs ARE the real deal.

Engineered Obsolescence comes as standard.
isn't that true of anything in this modern era though? From washing machines, to electronics to motorbikes and cars

Your video is better than Triumphs. Even with much of the same footage.
Why not the Speed 400
Speedmaster 1200 Maybe next bike.

Go for the Daytona and enjoy the triple
I would think the Daytona or CBR would be way to go. R7 a better track machine but more aggressive. The Triumph and Honda more practical for a daily ride in my opinion.
Out of these 3 CBR650r. Best quality, good engine, good tech, looks great
Stick with either the Honda or Triumph. The Yamaha is honestly a track focused bike and might not suit your requirements.
Don't buy a bike with logic. Go and look, sit on them, maybe start the engine. The right one will light your fire.

Sad what they did to the speed twin, taking away the twin analog dash.

Bikes aren't selling. Cost of living crisis. More dealers will go under. Depressing but true.
@fyorbane Oh dear, that's awful. Tomorrow's budget will only exacerbate the situation then.
If money was no object....
Can you imagine the Dayton 660 with is paint?? That'd be a looker.

what about speed 400 lol
Not for me Bob😢😢
Is it just me or does the letter T in Triumph looks like Trumps hair?
Why did they ruin the 1200xe with that horrible dash and gold forks.
Halogen headlight in 2025.🙄
