Got one of these myself, in that colour & with the Bombardone exhaust. The amount of confused looks I get from people is funny as hell. Great video guys!
This video is so helpful! I also want to buy the bombardone exhaust en you guys did a awesome job showing me how to instal it! Thank you so much! Greetings from belgium ✌️🔥🚀
We're glad you enjoyed the video! Hopefully you'll change the exhaust easily, and maybe even beat our time of about 30 minutes! The bombardone exhaust definitely adds something to the car, every time we drive it we're smiling from ear to ear!
Thanks! Agreed, they definitely sound meaner without the muffler.. Have heard a few with Akrapovic etc exhausts and they definitely give a more ‘tuned’ sound, so I can see why you may prefer that!
The video is great and informative. Thank you very much for it. I installed one myself on my Abarth, the tightener provided with the exhausts will cause air leaks. I advise strongly to reuse the OEM one or get yourself a better tightener.
Great video thank you, need to remove the old rusty stock one from my 500c Abarth and wasn't sure how to tackle the slip joint. Have to say I don't think mine sounds as good as your stock one, hoping my replacement/less rusty stock one I'm fitting will sort that
This is the first video I've seen of yours and really enjoyed it. I've just got the same car and the same exhaust so will be doing the same job very soon 👍 remap next!
@@thebronuts2585 I have it lowered now on H&R springs, another exhaust which is an MS Racing rear delete, a map in going to get changed and a GTT induction kit which is very good. Slowly getting there. 👍
With your new setup with the bombardone you don't get pulled up for noise pollution as you are removing the stock silencer as the bombardone is a straight through system. I am an abarth owner with that exact colour and model
good video funny for the tutorial. I would like to know if you noticed that the car lost some output or force in low speed when changing the exhaust? Or does it just sound better but the exam is the same? Thank you
Glad you enjoyed! We’ve not noticed any difference in power with the exhaust, our car is completely stock otherwise.. It may make a more noticeable difference with a tune etc
Hi there, unfortunately mine is touching the diffuser on the left side. I tried to move the V-Clamp but this don't change anything. I changed all the plastic exhaust supports since they were damaged, and the left tip is to close from the silencer. I don'ţ know if that's a good idea to fold the exhaust bracket on the bombardone. Seem's like a bad idea to me…
Probably silly question but is the Bombardone street legal ? I mean will it pass MOT if i got it on or should i put the original back on for MOT ? Thanks!!!
It’s for race use only, so it’s best to put the original back on! The car should still pass emissions with it, but would probably fail for not having the rear silencer
Hi What was the performance like with this exhaust compared to the standard exhaust.asking because I read on an abarth forum about loss of torque with the bombardone
We’ve not had any noticeable difference in performance. Ours is stock, other than the exhaust, so you may have different results if you have other mods/tunes on the car
It could fail as it’s not approved for road use. It will pass the emissions test, but shouldn’t pass the visual inspection as there’s no silencer. People seem to have had varied experiences. It’s pretty quick and easy to swap on/off between road/‘non-road’ use though! 😀
Got an Abarth 500 mk3 135, do you know if it fits this? And also without the back box is it street legal and able to pass an MOT? Thanks for the tutorial going to look out for one.
Hi! Yes, it’ll fit both models.. The exhaust will pass emissions etc as you’re just removing the silencer.. In the UK, the exhausts without silencers are for race use only, if that’s an issue you’d need a homologated exhaust which tends to cost a bit more e.g. the Record Monza exhaust is fully authorised for road use and sounds great 👍
Thank you guys, this video gave me the confidence to attempt to install the rear exhaust on my 595.

Great choice! Pretty hilarious cars! Thanks
@@thebronuts2585 the combination of the color and the big exhaust its stunning, i have got a 695 70th aniversario, love Abarth 🦂🤘
Great vid guys I will be putting this exhaust on my Abarth
Awesome, glad you enjoyed! 😀
bit late to your vid but just looking at getting one....great vid ❤
Grateful for this video! I wanna do it myself but I hate having to get my car on ramps! Feel like I’m gonna drive off of the end of them! Lol
just remember to keep the stock one, as you may get a rectification notice from plod like I did ...

The Bronuts i don’t think i will beat your time! But i’ll give it a shot! Thank guy’s! Can’t wait to hear the new sound! 💪🏼✌️
Great video! Makes me wonder if the US spec even needs an exhaust as it comes from the factory with no muffler on the 500 Abarth.
Should I Get It Reviews does the states get the record monza or akrapovic exhausts as an option? This the exhaust on the lower power models.
Thanks! Agreed, they definitely sound meaner without the muffler.. Have heard a few with Akrapovic etc exhausts and they definitely give a more ‘tuned’ sound, so I can see why you may prefer that!

Glad you enjoyed! That might be a good idea! Ours was okay, but you should always check for leaks when installing 😊
Great Video. Would love to see more Abarth content... more mods and a remap?
Thanks! We’ll see what we can do!

Excellent video! I've got a 595 Pista with the Monza-exhaust but I've already ordered a Bombardone! Gonna change it asap :)
Awesome, hope you enjoy it!
Nice video guys! Perhaps you could try reviewing a diesel Golf? I've seen a nice blue TDI in the background..
Superb cars, I wonder if we could get one to pop and bang 🤔
I love this exhaust 😂
Amazing video, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed! Let us know if there’s anything else you’d like to see 😀
Very nice video. I have a question, this car is an original 595?
THX GUYS!!!
Glad you enjoyed! 😀
Good video

We’ve not had any issues, but it is definitely quite loud!
You must be exhausted
Wrestling the stock system off was definitely exhausting!
Well done 🥇🏆🔝
What you you do if you need to take the car for an MOT. Does this one still keep to the regs?
good video funny for the tutorial. I would like to know if you noticed that the car lost some output or force in low speed when changing the exhaust? Or does it just sound better but the exam is the same? Thank you

Love these cars 😍
Does this exhaust drone at all?
Great video. Is this model the 595 turismo
Glad you enjoyed! This is the base 145hp T-Jet model, the Turismo has bigger wheels and power is increased to 160hp!

Has it been remapped for the pops and bangs or was that a result of the exuast change

Pops with the cat on with just bombardone ?
Have, exact same spec car, with the exhaust and is used as a daily proper brutual😂.
Awesome! Have you done any other modifications to yours? 😄
Have you got a link to this exhaust pleaseeeee guys :D
We bought it from MS Racing (ms-r.co.uk), they have a few different ones you can check out 😁
Does it still pass the emissions test on an MoT?
What about the sound restrictions? Does it exceed the limitations?
We’ve not tested with a decibel meter but it is pretty loud! I think it would still be okay for track sound limits if that’s what you’re thinking
I would but I do like quad tail pipes. 😄
Look up the Bombardone 4.0 - has quad exits. We went for the 2.0 to keep the original look
@@thebronuts2585 ah sweet, thank you. I'll take a look 👊

We were a little bit tyred by the end!

Thanks 😀
Will this still pass an MOT? Because it’s labelled as not approved for road use.

Is this exhaust ok for MOT?
It will pass the emissions, but could potentially fail if the tester deems it too much louder than standard
Does it pass the mot?

The Bronuts thanks for the info on this, will look into both options a bit further.
Did you have to adjust the valve for sport mode or was it just plug and play
There's no valve on the bombardone :D
This is illegal in UK?
👍😍
in the USA the abarth does not come with a muffler.
Quanto costa
How this guys fit in this microcar 😂😂😂😂😂
It’s a bit too loud 😂 I much prefer the original monza
We like the Monza too! Sadly the base model doesn’t come with a Monza exhaust and this was a nice cheap and easy to install alternative!
