If you're in Birmingham for a convention or event then there's no better place to stay on the NEC complex than the Genting Hotel that's part of Resorts World. I've stayed at almost all of the NEC hotels over the years, including the Hilton, Moxy, Premier Inn, Ibis and Novotel, and none of them offer the same combination of conventience, facilities, location and value that you get from the Genting Hotel. It's located just a few minutes walk from the NEC, across the road from the Arena and closer to the train station and airport than most of the other hotels listed, and it has restaurants, a shopping centre, bowling alley, arcade, cinema and even a casino all on site in the same building, plus secure underground VIP parking that's often cheaper than parking in the main NEC car parks (and a lot closer avoiding the shuttle buses!). Hi Kev, I've been a subscriber for a few years now and I love what you do and watching your vlogs. I just want to say thank you for the encouragement and motivation for me personally, as watching you vlog in public makes me want to keep going with what I'm doing with my own channel. I used to worry and shy away from vlogging in public in case anyone said anything to me or gave me a strange look. But seeing how confident you are filming with people around you has motivated me and I admire you and your videos as without them I would not be able to film in public. I'm getting there slowly and I'm autistic myself to so nerves and anxiety get the better of me sometimes. Just wanted to say thank you for the motivation you show as after watching each of your new vlogs just makes me want to get back out there and film which I love doing now. I went in 2021 for a concert and stayed at IBIS hotel which had its own parking and about a 20 min walk to the Resorts world complex but would stay again! Its such an amazing place and the complex has loads to offer too

I stayed in the Genting for i70 and really enjoyed it. So much I am booked in there for i71 in September. Only problem is the price has nearly doubled! It is totally worth it for the location and quality of the rooms.

Awsome video, great to get comparisons from a Premier Inn where i would normally stay to this sort of hotel which is alot easier to stay at but more costly. Definatly looks more worth the extra money.

Personally, I’d keep it like this! It was brilliant!
I personally prefer the Ibis Styles, it's a bit more basic, equally as close though, possibly closer. The manager usually does a good deal when we phone up around £100 per night. I'd definately consider the Genting if the prices are more comparable.
I never been in a hotel with shops in them but when you mostly only travel when you have to move you don't get to see much hotels lol

It’s on the outskirts of Birmingham near the airport, but the train to the bullring from the airport is only about 10 minutes

Stayed at the Genting for the last event, it was so nice! Got to enjoy some time in the pool and outdoor jacuzzi, as well as the sky bar for some cocktails! We had a play in the casino too! Great fun weekend

@@rosspeebles1089 used their adopted autistic child for fame and swept him away to a care home, im sure he won't see any royalties off this TH-cam channel ever in his life, while they continue to cash in on the popularity of the channel. Dont forget they recorded his meltdowns which can be freely accessed on TH-cam, this entire channel is malicious in the regard that they used his meltdowns and traumatic events for viewership and clickbait purposes then claim the empathy card "oh don't harass my kid its not like I put his face up for millions of viewers"... If I was social services I'd definitely look into deleting the channel plus rehoming Andy away from these people, as they clearly only want to use him for the purpose of creating online entertainment and generating revenue *Andy likely doesn't know how money or monetary funds works, so why would he care that they're technically unconsensually stealing the money that should be paid out to him if anything? Makes no sense. Evil evil rotten "parents" profiting off a disabled kid shows what a world we're living in. Dont question why fans are harassing your kid when you uploaded his face on every corner of the Internet. I lack any empathy for the owners of this channel and seriously think that you should be spending time in jail if it were my decision.
