Just another silly misinformed comment. Head for the City Centre, Great Western Arcade, Victoria Square. Then go to Corporation street and the old House of Frasier building now known as the outlet for some bargains.
@@bernardm2528 Sorry Snowflake, It's not misinformed at all. I lived in Brum for more than 30 years, used to walk into the city centre from where I lived. " the old House of Frasier " as you put it, is the old Rackhams. yes, I'm old enough to remember the original Bull ring and the markets. That's where the bargains were. I left a long time ago, no regrets. went to the city centre a few years ago, that instilled a desire to never go back. I'm happy where I am and there's nothing in birmingham that would make me ever go back.
@@TOGUN_TKSeems you are out of touch. It is The House of Fraser building, Rackham's was before that. I moved to Birmingham 49 years ago, so I'm not originally from Birmingham. Just Saturday I walked from New street and Moor Street stations through the Great Western Arcade, Corporation street, Bull ring and Upto Victoria Square and has many new buildings, it is amazing.
@@bernardm2528 I'm not the one out of touch, you are waffling on about the city centre. That alone does not make a city great, Birmingham is 103 square miles (268 square km) and has a population of over 1m people. The city centre you love so much has a crime rate 57% higher than the average rate in England and Wales. when people come to visit me they always comment on how peaceful it is where I live, 30 -40 mins away. Only seen a police Helicopter once since I've been here, sit in my back garden of a night listening to birds singing instead of chavs squealing at each other like stuffed pigs.

Birmingham is one of the top five dangerous cities to visit in the UK, its recent implementation of it clean air city centre discriminates against the old and can cost pensioners over £120 for a PCN. Visit at your peril!
Absolutely rubbish, it’s a very large major city so things happen but is actually safer than lots of other uk cities/towns less than half its size/population… Birmingham is getting a wonderful reputation for outstanding restaurants/bars/street food, is a very Green city, always lots to do within the arts, concerts, theatre etc, has the 3rd biggest St.Patricks day in the world, UKs best Pride weekend festival etc, on the whole people are very friendly, welcoming and great sense of humour… Clean air zone is a great idea as most people get into central Birmingham by train, bus or Tram and this allows for more pedestrianised areas, greenery and a pleasant city to walk around
As someone who was born and raised in Birmingham and was once proud to say so, the best advice I can give anyone considering visiting the city now is DON’T!!!!………..its like most of the other major cities of the UK, pretty much a crime ridden shit hole that’s best avoided!!!….😡😡😡😡😡
