Whenever I travel out of Gatwick I always use Premier Inn Gatwick North which is directly outside the North Terminal. Can walk into the terminal in about a minute. Price is reasonable for an airport hotel. Normally pay about £100 per night. The monorail can also be seen from certain rooms (which I’m sure Andy would love).

You should try the Bloc Hotel in the South Gatwick Terminal.
The phone sockets are actually an airport requirement 6:47 because the phone number is different

169?! Ouch, the 2 Premier Inns and the Travelodge on the Gatwick grounds can be 80/90 if booked far enough in advance then you get a 4 quid bus back to terminals. Everytime i look at the on-site hotels they're just ridiculous. (Everytime being once a year!)
I’ve been to Gatwick maybe 50 times and have absolutely no clue where that first / starting shot / lift was😂😂

Surprised you did notice that the style of the yotel is a plane. Blinds, windows even the corridor is like that on a plane. The control panel and bed it just like a seat. Normal look though.
