One thing I like about Ransik is his design, he looks like a futuristic version of the Phantom of the Opera. Which considering his origins and what he is I find to be very appropriate.
the cool thing about time force, timeranger is that even now, that suit design just works. the visor, the arrow design, the badge on the belt, the integrated morpher on the wrist in ranger form, etc. just works for some reason. i say this because even a badass looking spd suit just feels like it's from 2000's. i think it was a great way to represent a futuristic suit without feeling like it was way out there.
I didn’t grow up with Time Force (I grew up with the Disney Era), but I still have a few fond memories of this show. Wes and Jen’s relationship is the peak of Power Ranger relationships.
Quantum Ranger: I... Will not lose... Not to Wes. I need more Quantum Power! Eric is my favorite Ranger, mainly because from a newcomer, having someone recognizable from other IPs helps with grappling to the series as a whole, but from what I understand, Eric is also great because he was actually far more redeemable than his Sentai counterpart, and was allowed to develop, even as they maintained his rivalry with Wes. This ultimately culminated in the fact that Eric survives the moment where he should've died, and allowed Wes to take his Morpher for the chance to save the world, allowing for them to develop a great relationship post-Time Force and working together in Wild Force, as well as Eric appearing in Forever Red, as a red Ranger, despite being the notorious 6th Ranger. He was a 6th unlike anyone else. And you shall not forget this Ranger's Power.
Naoto was SO annoying. Just when I thought he was getting redeemable he decided to taunt Tatsuya's hospitalized father as means of getting power. I was so glad when he finally kicked the bucket.
(Copy-pasting my comment from another Time Force review) I've always been fascinated by the contrast between Eric and Naoto. Both of them have simillar backstories yet even at his most selfish, Eric genuinely cared for Wes deep down and his desire to surpass him always felt like a dare at the latter to get his shit together. Compare that to Naoto who, saddled with an inferiority complex toward Tatsuya, became obsessed with surpassing him by any means necessary. Even the way they process their pre-destined death is symbolic; Eric is adamant he can cheat fate, yet he's also fearless about it. Naoto on the other hand, reacts with denial and his defiance is born purely out of his fear of dying from a destiny he desperately wanted to control.

The Best Power Rangers are still the Force of Time, and the best Super Sentai is TimeRanger! And in a comparison between the two, TimeRanger is better in my opinion. 2 fantastic series that continue to be loved even after so many years.
I think it was for the time, it had such a melodrama elements. Andros wanting to find the person who end up taking his sister, almost losing his best friend and having to work with rangers he just met. Plus taking over the psycho ranger arc that was from megaranger. It really felt different for the time. Plus actually kiiling off a good guy for the first time in the power rangers franchise. I think also coming after Turbo helped made it a lot more loved as Turbo really fell down the waste side with having to adapt a parody sentai causing it to be really dumb even for power rangers at the time.

Wild Force also managed to adapt the Gaoraner story, not as good as Timeforce did though.👍 Let's not talk about Samurai's attempt at word-for-word translation 🤮
When I did work on my Power rangers reboot idea and when using some takes from Shinkenger and Ninniger was have my take on the red ranger being a window cleaner but when the armor of a evil warlord comes to life and forms a army of yokai monsters is when he joins with four others from the museum where they work to become Power rangers as the way I would do the red ranger is be kind of a screw up but learns to be the leader his team need over time leaving a moral how even know you might feel you might not be the right leader for your team it portant to be the hero they need but also having the 6th ranger be a wolf yokai who see no point in fighting but wants to protect life and the red ranger seeing the good in him and showing his friends he good ends up becoming the Luna ranger leaving the message sometimes not every enemy is bad but having some 6th ranger who are monsters from the enemy side not evil but end up becoming a ranger to show kids not everyone is evil but want to do good
They really are almost the same show, my biggest criticism with time force was not letting Frax kill Ransik. He killed Don Dolnero in timeranger so there's no excuse. I would also add Rankins redemption at the end, felt really forced it made sense for Nadira but not so much Ransik.

I actually didn’t really like Time Force that much for being too close to Timeranger. It’s definitely a good power rangers season but I feel it left out a lot of magic in what made power rangers special in taking the sentai and making their own show. Like I like Wes, Jen and Eric but I felt they were too much like their sentai counterparts. Katie, Lucas and Tripp are very likable but barely got any focused compared to their sentai counterparts. Ransik had the potential to be a good villain but I felt his backstory didn’t make much sense. He doesn’t like humans cause they treated him like shit for being a mutant even tho there are many villains we meet were treated very equally by humans so I never really bought the prejudice the show established imo. Plus also you would think that since Ransik hates humans for treating him like shit for being a mutant, he would treat other mutants with the care he didn’t get but nope he treats them like shit. I feel Vernon Wells is a great actor and does a good job with what he was given I just felt his character needed something more imo. Even tho I love Timeranger to them, it’s my favorite sentai after all, I still feel time force should have been more it’s thing. Either way, there is nothing we can do about it since the show is now 21 years old.
All fair points. There's definitely a lot that could have been improved in Time Force. To be honest if I had somehow seen Timeranger before TF as a kid I might even feel the same way about wanting it to diverge more from the source material.
Interestingly i have the opposite view from you. Both Time Force and Timeranger are amazing seasons, I wouldn’t say otherwise and I do believe Time Force is one of the best there is. But after watching Timeranger, I was disappointed they took so many elements from the show as a direct (or indirect) translation. The PR shows like In Space, Lost Galaxy and RPM that completely abandon their base premises are just more ambitious to me and much harder to work round the footage.
While I agree with you, there's also something astounding about being able to adapt a show well without abandoning the premise of the source material. PR had failed in both attempts: trying something original and adaptation. If I were part of the conceptualization, I'd think about if the premise is good enough for adaptation or if there's an opportunity to translate outside of it. In Space and Lost Galaxy were interesting in that regard. As much as I like In Space more, I'm fascinated with the idea of Lost Galaxy...I just had problems with its execution.
@@mistermastermind528 issue i feel with time force is they took the main story pf timeranger and didnt really change it that much. Plus they hindered themselves by being so close. i totally agree with this.. best is lost galaxy, in space, turbo, time force, wildforce, spd, ninja storm, operation overdrive, and some in that period around
Great video. I appreciate Power Rangers for introducing me to Henshin Heroes, but I hate the fact that it is basically a copy/whitewashed, less deep, less thoughtful version of Super Sentai. When I finally got a chance to watch Super Sentai, I felt like I finally got something I was missing. I don’t understand how people can say that Power Rangers is better 😂 what’s better about it? Super Sentai is the real thing, Power Rangers is literally a copy, and not that much of a good one. Instead of just dubbing it, they copy it and do the original a disservice. People who say they don’t like Super Sentai might be just be racist 😂
My favorite sentai and power ranger season. After that would be Gokagier and SPD. But time force/ranger for me is the time when I like both at the same time.
@@billli6623 I agree. That's my problem with power rangers. Its usually child childish but it's America so you know what your getting. I'm not saying time force is terrible. It's better than a lot of other series but it's still not on par with time ranger.

I love The Rangers but I have been watching Super Sentai and don't really watch the Rangers anymore Here's my 3 reasons. #1 : I'm bored of Anime , I've been watching Anime since 1988, I've even watched the really bad stiff and it's just boring now #2: Power Rangers is a bootleg copy of Super Sentai and copies are never better than the original #3 : Super Sentai has been around for 45 years, has cheesy dancing and phrases that make it fun ... Gaburincho!!!! anyway, I'm a huge fan of both so don't misinterpret what I'm saying as if I don't love Power Rangers , but I prefer Super Sentai
Power Rangers isnt a bootleg tho. Its an adaptation of the sentai. Takes the source material and makes their own story. I argue that Dino Thunder and RPM are better than their sentai counterparts only cause i personally dont like Go-Onger and i have only a couple things i like about Abaranger.

One of the Biggest issues is mainly Katie, Lucas and Trip getting barely any character development compared to their sentai counterparts.
Agreed i found that my biggest issue when rewatching Time Force. Plus Yellow, Blue and Green got barely any development unlike their sentai counterparts.
While I could argue that this is _the_ best, I will agree it's in the top 5!
I've only seen the first 2 episodes of Timeranger but I'm currently hunting some episodes now because Yuri is hot. Lol.
i totally agree with this.. best is lost galaxy, in space, turbo, time force, wildforce, spd, ninja storm, operation overdrive, and some in that period around
In space the best, save the franchise.
I love timeforce.
all power rangers until time force were good after that it got very meh except from some gems in the later seasons
Yup i agree
Time 4 Time Force!
Lost Galazy and In Space are the best ones/// and Ninja Stom
My favorite sentai and power ranger season. After that would be Gokagier and SPD. But time force/ranger for me is the time when I like both at the same time.
I think the best season is lost galaxy... But that's just me.
@Jose
Lost Galaxy is a underrated season and also my favorite
Power rangers in space story line was really awesome.. it saves the franchise.
Ryuya died as time fire in both futures
joshua godinez jason faunt alex drake wesley collins cody banks banks command command
Timeranger great sentai not a fan of power rangers only saw the pilot episode of mmpr and hated it I was 9 in 1993😊
brother, did you need to spoil the ENTIRE SHOW?
Bro what about SPD
Timeranger is infintly better than Time Force.
@@billli6623 I agree. That's my problem with power rangers. Its usually child childish but it's America so you know what your getting. I'm not saying time force is terrible. It's better than a lot of other series but it's still not on par with time ranger.
Eh. Best is subjective. In Space is better.
Time Force is good not the best
No it's mega ranger
Also the music in Time force is horrible. It's too generic and really takes away from some moments
Bro probably likes the stock music in the Disney era
Mcdonalds
Bro SPD EMERGENCY WAS THE GOAT DONT FORGET ABOUT SPD ITS AT LEAST AS GOOD JUST MY OPINION SPD WAS THE GOAT
Time force isn't the best season. It's essentially a copy and paste of time ranger and time ranger isn't the best Sentai either. Time force is a good show but there are better seasons.
Like ?
we really need to stop acting like timeranger or sentai as a whole is some obscure classic that doesnt get respect in the community when its been the one with more louder fans. like shut up dude we get it
i couldnt even finish the video because of that voice too like cmon bruh
Time force is overrated as balls
It’s only overrated due to how good it is the Disney era is overrated as hell only due to nostalgia
RPM is better.. also power rangers is stupid.
No RPM is better
RPM's also up there, might be a future video
I hated time force because of the music. It made fight scenes anticlimactic
Compare it to mystic force
My opinion mystic force is the best power rangers despite the capes 😂 which I eventually grew to love
Time force had amazing music the orchestral music was beautiful
Time Force is overrated...
The Disney era is overrated
Time force and timerangers aren't the best I seem better Seasons than this sorry
I love The Rangers but I have been watching Super Sentai and don't really watch the Rangers anymore
Here's my 3 reasons.
#1 : I'm bored of Anime , I've been watching Anime since 1988, I've even watched the really bad stiff and it's just boring now
#2: Power Rangers is a bootleg copy of Super Sentai and copies are never better than the original
#3 : Super Sentai has been around for 45 years, has cheesy dancing and phrases that make it fun ...
@@arkanamaster4961 super Sentai is over 40 seasons, power rangers is a bootleg copy, there's no shame in admitting it . I don't understand your comment are you telling me that's not my opinion?
@@billli6623 when I say bootleg , I mean a cheap copy
@@billli6623 I think you overthink
