The A2 might not have a medbay, but the new Pisces variant does, and it can probably fit in the cargo bay.
Can confirm - Pisces fits in the A2.

can fit a Pisces and a cyclone in the A2 im use with no fuss or another ship like the razor parking it right once the cylone is at between the elevator and the engineer station screen

I do hope we get some kind of drop chute/lev/thrusterpack ability with this family of ships. For air dropping vehics into a battlezone.
I owned a C2 until I found out my theory crafting expectations fell short, and that cig marketing were working against me for making an extra light carrier. So I ccu'ed it into a Liberator which loaned me an M2 and my BMM loaned me a C2 back. I still have no use for an A2 since I don't do much attacking, but I'm glad it's there ingame to buy just incase.
Larger ships will probably be best treated similar to real life warships. You’ll want each crew member to have 2 tasks. Now some of the tasks are always important so jobs like a medic will be full time but things like cooks and maintenance personnel can double as gunners in combat.
Also balancing factors for the A2 are Size 9 torps from that blind spot and anti air fire. While ground defenses might not have a good chance of destroying the A2, they do have a decent chance of hitting its bombs as it drops them and if you hit one even a few seconds after it’s dropped, the A2 will be caught in the blast and the ground might be safe

About Time the A2 get s proper review great work and I do hope the blades can man all the turrets. Really difficult to find players( that's not a murderous hobo that will kill us all for no reason) to bring it firepower at full strength

@@delc82 agreed but the route that most players take it unavoidable. as much i would like to play with some random joe on other games! SC literally made me to trust no one until there is like a rep system knowing the player is a good to hang around and those who just want to give unwanted pvp

By far one of my favorite combat ships. And ironically enough, I have plans for it in AND out of combat. People underestimate this ship and by default, think that it's a niche ship... It isn't. It's going to be a flexible vessel in several areas. Combat, logistics and support to name a few. I've been painstakingly playing the CCU game with one of my BMM's for the last couple years to try and squeeze the price down to under $350 for this behemoth. So far so good. Things will probably come to a close and the A2 will permanently be in my hangar this IAE. I'm sure the BMM will get another boost to it's cost during the event. Also, I think we will see bombing missions in the game sooner or later in the same way that we see bounty missions and such. Getting paid to drop the payload on someone sounds like a fun time to me!! 😁
I love my C2, it also makes a fun snub fighter carrier for 6 Merlins/Archies. The M2 is a nice step up for ground assault teams but the A2 with all those belly guns makes it like a bomber and dominate ground targets like the real C-130 Hercules. I would not trust AI blades for PvP except as sentry/point defense when crew is off ship or busy with something else. The A2 pilot is the bomb operator for now supposedly until all the new HUD UIs and player to player HUD casting is in because the concept had it as a separate station. The bombardier's station is supposedly that system access terminal on the forward port-side bomb launcher. The Polaris torpedo room operator is planned to be similar. Stations will have to coordinate and mark HUD targets for each other for certain tasks and time things right on multi crew ships which helps balance their damage if they suck at teamwork and eliminates some of the solo troll suicide bombers.

Hello LOTW, I hope you cover this year's IAE!... It is going to be a big one, I think. It was your video of an IAE a while back years ago, that got me into Star Citizen, and made me passionate about it! You cover things in a way that sparks the imagination of my youth lol. You were missed, last year!.. I even drifted away from SC, out of frustration.. I am very laid back, so I prefer TH-camrs the same.. I am Japanese so can't understand fast English talking TH-camrs and don't like screamers that horse play too much, so you are always my go-to for SC stuffs!
I miss our comment conversations about our future hopes and plans for the game lol, and hope you are well!☺️

Deciding to watch that one video really interested me in SC and your channel and resulted in me watching ALL of your videos back-to -back, over the next few days, during any free time from, or between classes (back then). Now I'm a licensed Pharmacist lol.

I'm real interested to see if they can slave all the underside guns to the pilot. With gimbals, I imagine it would still need some... coaxing to bear everything at like a 15 degree angle from straight, but I think the sheer pilot-controlled damage output is theoretically unbeatable.
She’s actually not so bad on fuel ether, all things considered.
But I’ve made a lot of credits with this ship.
How have you leveraged the A2 to make creds? Cargo runs?
@@infra1 I’ve been hired twice to nuke Jumptown, delivering several tank and various other ground vehicles and troops, but mostly from medical supply runs during the blockade event.
And a little bit of cargo hauling.
Quick question: when star citizen will be free on November 18th, will it be the game, or the starter package that will be free?
From November 18th to the 30th you'll be able to download and play the game for free as well as be able to test fly over 100 ships. Game packages will be for sale during that time, usually at a reduced rate. You'll have to buy a game package if you want to continue playing the game after the 30th.

wait... what?!? Blades? When do those come out?
i almost get the point of this line of "drop ships" for military use compared to smaller ones - but when every player owns atleast a single seat fighter and can fly why not just fly as a fleet vs 20 dudes in a juciy target of a transport... seems crazy when one bad landing or a busted engine (or if were honest even a glitch) could be the end of them all.
and like the main use militarily seems to be "to transport the tanks" - which again i also just dont get unless tanks can readily shred ships much bigger than them... which might actually be the case in which case cool! but it seems unlikely. ... like just why ditch your FTL capable ship to sit in something thats a sitting target for a bomb??
not like trying to dunk on things but has there been anything said on this players as crew vs pilots paradox? its seems glaringly obvious that the more players you have to stuff into a ship the worse a return on your man power you get.... if it was a coop campaign or something sure but like in an mmo you just seem to be playing on hard mode.

Nope
Blades and NPC crew are many years off, and if not, they will be very limited, it goes against the very concept of the PU . That subject will get as much priority as customizing ships did. NPC/Blades means less players, means less $ for CIG

I don't know about the A2, but I've been lent the C2 since the BMM is seemingly in perpetual development. I don't like the C2 at all; I find it boring both to fly and interior wise. I'd rather fly my starter Aurora LN, or my Cutlass Black. Dropping bombs with the A2 would be fun to try though - it does look like a more engaging variant.
I wish they made this the loaner for the banu merchant man instead of the c2... It would make more sense for this to be the loaner.
Wish they would remove the two tail wings that ruin the overall design...
