What i do is play with my M2 with the AD5Bs and do VHRTs. VHRTs spawn mostly chargo ships and have more loot than ERTs. The AD5Bs easily have enough ammo to kill all targets in 3 VHRTs (hammerhead takes 300 rounds per gun) That should give you a mostly full chargo hold of drugs. The neck turret carries 2 laser repeaters and is used by either a friend or by me when shooting small targets that i want soft deathed (misc freelancer..) as the AD5Bs will kill them outright. My belly turret of the M2 is outfitted with C-788 HE Cannons. I use those to shoot into all the typical hiding spots at the salvage yards. 2 rounds of the C-788 placed within a 5 meter radius of a person will kill them. Make sure to turn on "call to arms" to get kill notifications. I killed 3 dudes camping the salvage yards with these cannons.
I use the A2 ... I dual box on a Desktop and a Laptop... i have my 2nd guy in one of the turrets shooting forward (usually get him to shoot in same direction as fixed main gun then hit G(Turn off gimbled mode) and Z(Turn on freelook) so turret doesn't move. Alternatively just hit G and don't touch the mouse... Anyway, you can equip all those extra turrets with whatever guns you like. I tent to use a mix of size 5 repeaters with size 4 cannons because they shoot at the same rate. I dont do AD5b , and i'm very careful with even the lvl 5 guns because they can easily destroy the target instead of soft death. I usually try to bring the target as low to ground as possible in atmo ... I will make video of all this soon... if loot is still decent or not... IDC at this point.
FYI if you are scanning and it’s not showing anything on the scan it is better to physically look. I found 90 SCU of weevil eggs on a M2 that was not scanning for me. This was last after the hot fix they did.
Try out the size 5 gatlings. You shredd a hammerhead in around 8 max 10 seconds. You have enough ammo for one and a half ert's. Make 1 ert. Sell. Reload and earn 2 till 3 mil per hour. Reduce your weapon distanz crosshair from 1500 to 1000m in menü
Really glad that YT algorithm pushed your videos to me. They're great, I have been cranking some ERT's in inferno and ion. Keen to try in the Herc. Looks fun!
So depending on the day, I either do Group ERTs in my inferno and just chain them and ignore loot, if I feel like doing more flying, or I will do single ERT's in my A2 with AD5B;s and collect the loot, or in my all ad5B corsair if I feel like watching things explode realllly fast and collecting less loot. The A2 with two aD5B's makes short work of those 890's, but you end up needing to re supply ammo a few times before your cargo is full unless you get a nice juicy caterpillar/hercules combo so the time savings over the cannons is basically a wash.
Glad to hear the ERT ship and loot adjustments. I’m looking forward to using my Corsair. Maybe fixed energy weapons for the increased durability of these bigger ships. It only has 1/7 the cargo of the M2, pretty much same speed and agility, but 2.5x the pilot-controlled firepower. I’ll bring along a couple Red Wind boxes along to mark my cache of spoils and multi-trip any loot if that’s the case.
Convergance is a hell of a thing tho. Maybe isn't bad with the deadbolts but I actually prefer the connie for ert's as the bullet spread isn't nearly as bad as the corsair. Was sad melting it too, waited a year for that thing lol.
@@ObeseRaccoonyou take a starter Delivery Mission. Red Wind Delivery (Ling family?). You only do the first part of the mission: pick up the box from location wherever. @@TieJax I use ballistic gattlings and can do 2 ERT's with enough spare ammo for the trip to sell. When you get those 890 jumps you dont have to go through those massive shields, so much faster
How well do you think this would work with a C1? Yeah it doesn't have as much cargo space, but if you go and sell after every ERT, then it should be good right? I'm new to the game so I genuinely don't know
@justinlackey4363, thanks for watching, the C1 is a good ship to do up to VHRT missions in and still collect the cargo. It does not quite have enough firepower or shielding to do ERTs unless you are a very good pilot, and I mean really really good pilot. The VHRT mission will still have good loot drops so stick with them until you can get a ship with heavier weapons like the Corsair.
look out for all kinds of cargo. i get plenty of RMC cargo which give a lot of credit. IMHO its less risky then doing the pickert station run because you dont have to provide any money upfront. yes its RNG but over the time its at least the same if not more reward.
@Bokaj01 MM has put a twist into all ship combat. You are much easier to hit now in any ship. The M2 can still take a lot of damage but you do die quicker when there are multiple enemies. I'm still on the fence if I like or hate MM.
That looked waaaay longer than 25 min. of work. And I mean that's work compared to the leasurely Beryl or diamond runs I do for 200k+ a load. Toss in a gold run and I'm really in the money without grinding away at ERTs and likely dying in an asteroid field a time or two while I'm at it. Selling all that alone would take me 25 min. To each their own though, I know some people really enjoy the ship combat in this game, it's not for me though.
@LUCKYTHEGOBLIN, The ERT from start to finish and to load the cargo was 26 minutes, not including selling it as you would do that at the end of the night or when the ship is full.
great video, thanks. I must try that. but for now as a beginner I made almost 3 mil in 3 to 4 hours only with C2 cargo runs without any risk like you do. of course I'm still practcising my flying and combat skills meantime. I agree this maybe is more fun and not boring like raw cargo runs. As a long term ED player must say new players in SC like me is best to go step by step until get familiar with all systems, weapons, ships, flight manouvers and tactics. o7
@sinisadovijanic, thanks for watching, and glad you liked the video. If you are making cargo runs then you are risking more as you had to purchase the cargo. Getting the cargo via a bounty mission you only risk your ship which is replicable w/o cost. Think about this, you purchase 1 million in cargo for a run that will net you 500,000 after you sell it. Several things can go wrong that will result in the loss of your cargo, Pirates, Invisible Objects that destroy your ship, Client Crashes, and Grieves that destroy your ship for fun. If any of that happens with bounty cargo you lose nothing as you did not purchase the cargo. I'm not knocking you for doing a cargo run, its a nice way to make aUEC, but there is risk in it.

@MCBVid, thanks for watching, I usually get 2-3 Million per ERT mission so yes you can make several Million per hour. I kept this video to show the lowest amount I have ever gotten from an ERT and took my sweet time in loading the cargo, the normal time to complete an ERT and take just the drugs is a little less than 20 minutes from start to finish so figure on three per hour. If you have a buddy or two to help move cargo and get some good RNG for the drugs then you can make tens of Million aUEC per hour which makes for a great night of gameplay.
