Are you using the joystick with your moves or just your arm movement in F mode? Also have you adjusted the settings of the speed and sensitivity of the gimbal pan and tilt axis? If so is this on slow / medium / high? I’ve been looking at this gimbal for a while now but notice the robotic movement when orbating in shots in a lot of the footage I see, especially when someone goes to change direction, there always seems to be a sudden jolt. Would be sold on it if I thought I could operate it like the ronin-s setting the movement speed very low and using the joystick for refined movement. Would be great to hear your thoughts, thanks! ✌️
Hey Daniel. We were fast switching all the time between the Sony A7 III and the Gh5 and we were not adjusting it every single time for a perfect speed and sensitivity. You can put it in low mode and make the pan and follow movements more fluent and seemless. In the Zhyiun App there are also additional settings to smooth all the movements even more.
Thanks for letting me know! Did you yourself adjust any of the settings for optimal smoothness while in low mode? I would be interested to see someone try to get this gimbal as smooth as possible just to see myself if it is actually possible. So so tempted to get it but not unless I can get it as smooth as the ronin-s. Thanks! ✌️

Actually it could handle the 70/200 F2.8 with no worries at all... The back Tilt motor is very distant and it could be balanced really great without adding some weight distribution things...

Commands on the crane 3 work "fine", but when I got the record button on the crane 3 it will make the gimbal lose the connection with the camera, so everything else that was working before: shutter speed, aperture etc.. will become "n/a" (non available)!? ... Have you had similar issues? (Crane 3 latest firmware, Sony a7iii latest firmware).... Thanks, great review!

Because it's really hard to nail the focus with a focus wheel controller on the GH5..i am not used to the outside screen and follow focus. Actually great manual follow focus pullers have more than 20 years of experience..not 7 days....😉
What camera are you using? If you've got IBIS AND lens stabilisation AND a gimbal they're pretty likely to be fighting against each other, causing vibration.
What I'm hoping is that the external monitor people add the ability to run the drone software like a Crystal Sky or that the next Crystal Sky version starts being an external monitor. Just wanna save some space when traveling and get more utility from each tool in my bag(s).

It's a heavy gimbal designed for heavy cameras. And yes..the crystal sky doesn't accept HDMI In..i don't own one so i wasn't aware of that...
But it is so expensive, i prefer to try DJI Ronin s or FeiyuTech AK4000 with carbon fiber dual handle.

ive actually never seen anybody show them actually using the follow focus, i mean like actually holding the gimble and trying to turn the wheel ,

I am still having the same issue like you. I can't connect to the live feed.... They are working it out... Try to put the phone in Airplane Mode
