I asked this because, inspite of my being a Canadian citizen, my Ontario health card there is still written there PR after the 10 digit numbers of my health card account.

It says 'the date 'leaving' cannot be later than the moving in address, which doesn't make sense because let's say I moved to Ontario in 2021, lived in multiple places since, but I'm just going to apply for OHIP now as I started working full time NOW after finishing college.

there could be a lot of things that your private insurance might not cover, so you can avail those facilities through your OHIP.

That is the version code at the end of the digits. Every person has a different version code - yours happens to be PR

its not as soon as you land, you get coverage as as soon as you apply, whenever you do that after landing(assuming you have all the documents)
