Yeah, I mean the portfolios of HoloEN before they joined are STACKED. They basically have years of streaming experience and a mastery of their niche. Calli - Music production and rapping skills Kiara - Trilingual and the glue of HoloEN Ame - FPS skills and natural streamer charisma Ina - Professional art skills Gura - Memability and master conversationalist With multiple videos/ works highlighting their talents before they joined. The barrier of entry for HoloEN, based on Gen 1 is HIGH, and that's putting it lightly. Good luck to all those applying but don't set your expectations too high or you'll set yourself for disappointment.
If there are only going to be 5 slots with hundreds of applicants, you're definitely going to have to bring more to the table than just streaming or video editing. For example, Calli has talked about how she auditioned on a whim without expecting much from it, especially as she didn't have any streaming experience; however, her unique talents, background, and mindset probably set her apart tons from other applicants.
Me after watching this: *CONFIDENCE!* Me when I realize I can sing decently well: *SUPER CONFIDENCE!* Me when I realize I have an idea for a character: *MEGA CONFIDENCE* Me when I realize I'm too nervous to apply: Welp, never mind!

Step 1: Take out the competition. Make sure there is no chance of survival so they can't pull a fallout new vegas mc or come back as a lich. Step 2: there is no step 2 because you got caught and arrested in your attempt to take out the competition.
If I were to apply, which I won't, but if I were to apply, long gaming seasons would be my talent. I play games for around 12 hours without even getting tired. Y'all just lucky I am not a Vtuber, I would be keeping everyone awake with impossibly long streams regularly.
I wish I can apply for the hololive auditions~~~ but I am not old enough... sad... But I should focus more academically, so my grade doesn't go 📉📉📉📉📉📉📉 Hope I can become hololive idol/streamer one day......
Honestly i've been extremelly nerveous about this, I don't know if I should try the audition since english is not my first language; it's spanish. I'm working my ass of for a debut that not many people will see, but I hope that can makes me someone a little more "interesting" Idk, hearing this from Ina really helps a lot
I mean we have Kiara, a native German speaker in EN and had Coco, a native English speaker in JP, so I don't think nativity was ever an issue, even by the time of this video. We later got Hakka in Holostars too, a native Spanish speaker. While Nijisanji started having EN later, they seemed to have known this too since they have a native Swedish (Ike), Spanish (Reimu and probably Scarle), and French (Rosemi) speaker all in their ranks.
haven't started streaming yet, so I have zero chance. Also, they market it as a female idol group, which means I'm out anyway as I'm a guy. Would love to join Hololive at some point though seems like such a fun job with very friendly and welcoming colleagues.
Look at the application. If it doesn't explicitly say females only, then I think you can give it a shot. Don't go down with a whimper, go down fighting, even if you feel out of place, just go for it.

me: ArE YoU sUrE AbOuT ThAt ?
Something that she said during the “setting yourself apart thing intrigued me, are there any Hololive Speedrunners? How would the leaderboards work? Either way I think an Hololive Idol Speedrunner would be lit.
I'm planning to apply when I turn 18
don't forget: Be a Girl
extremly important
ina advice makes me want to apply (well i really want to) but i remember im not good in *drawing, gaming, singing, dancing* and last, im not good at *communicating* i mean i can communicate and understand but im awkward at first so nvm.
Go watch Calliope's first stream and tell me again that being awkward is a barrier.
I mean generally they accept people who have decent experience streaming or video making
Yeah, I mean the portfolios of HoloEN before they joined are STACKED. They basically have years of streaming experience and a mastery of their niche.
Calli - Music production and rapping skills
Kiara - Trilingual and the glue of HoloEN
Ame - FPS skills and natural streamer charisma
Ina - Professional art skills
Gura - Memability and master conversationalist
With multiple videos/ works highlighting their talents before they joined.
@@PJK17 And remember: Momosuzu Nene auditioned 4 times.
Me after watching this: *CONFIDENCE!*
Me when I realize I can sing decently well: *SUPER CONFIDENCE!*
Me when I realize I have an idea for a character: *MEGA CONFIDENCE*
Me when I realize I'm too nervous to apply: Welp, never mind!
I got excited when the audition was announced, then I realised I don't have a single worthy skill to make it. I don't even have a pc or the knowledge and skill to use one🥲
Ina’s “hmm hmm” gets me every time
Oh boy time to apply as a death metal vocalist, drummer, electroic music producer and Dmc pro player
Step 1: Take out the competition. Make sure there is no chance of survival so they can't pull a fallout new vegas mc or come back as a lich.
Step 2: there is no step 2 because you got caught and arrested in your attempt to take out the competition.
Awesome video, I love the outro, its such a banger
thank you ina, i will remember this and tell this to my kids when i have one. thank you papa nis too
''NO CONFIDENCE'' - Doggo
If I were to apply, which I won't, but if I were to apply, long gaming seasons would be my talent. I play games for around 12 hours without even getting tired. Y'all just lucky I am not a Vtuber, I would be keeping everyone awake with impossibly long streams regularly.
I remember someone pretend to be seiso idol in audition and then after got approved.. she can do whatever she want
Great input on confidence!!!
GOOD LUCK TO THOSE AUDITIONING!!! HABE CONFIDENCE!!!
Here I am, cooking for 12 years and singing throughout school, but unsure if cooking could even help me.
I would honestly apply if my equipment wasn't shit as well as my internet connection, my internet connection could be worse than watame's
I wish I can apply for the hololive auditions~~~
but I am not old enough...
sad...
But I should focus more academically, so my grade doesn't go 📉📉📉📉📉📉📉
Hope I can become hololive idol/streamer one day......
Me too! Good luck for the future :))
INA: Have Confidence!
Me whose a complete introvert:........ha? Eh?
I feel like Ina just said she can maintain and keep a constant seisoness during her interview
Ngl this gave me some confidence
Inadvice: POWER UP.
The race to G2 has BEGUN. 3/26, it's over. DO IT.
They not gonna have gen 2 yet hololive have other called hololive jp gamer it's gonna be like this hololive en gen gamer not gen 2
me, who probably has the skill and confidence but never streamed before and is a boy: well fuck
"Gender irrelevant" was part of the audition listing, maybe standout male talents will be kept on speed dial for Holostars EN.
@@magdeldinahmed3620 thats what they said before as well but it ended up only girls or wel alsol a guy who can speak and sing like a girl
Well that was a checklist of skills i don't have
How to join Hololive: learn to sing Sorairo Day.
Solid advice for life in general
Ina advice: Have Confidence
Me: No confidence
Honestly i've been extremelly nerveous about this, I don't know if I should try the audition since english is not my first language; it's spanish.
I'm working my ass of for a debut that not many people will see, but I hope that can makes me someone a little more "interesting"
Idk, hearing this from Ina really helps a lot
I mean we have Kiara, a native German speaker in EN and had Coco, a native English speaker in JP, so I don't think nativity was ever an issue, even by the time of this video. We later got Hakka in Holostars too, a native Spanish speaker.
While Nijisanji started having EN later, they seemed to have known this too since they have a native Swedish (Ike), Spanish (Reimu and probably Scarle), and French (Rosemi) speaker all in their ranks.
Ame must have been like:
I can go *brrrrrrrreeeehhgggggg* [gremlin screeching noises]
haven't started streaming yet, so I have zero chance.
