Prepare yourself. This is probably one of the most clean Honda CB 750 cafe racer that i have ever seen.
It is the kind of approach, that won't be understood by some, but which will be loved many many.
This is the work of Mark Maxwell, Cam, and Glenn, from Downside Custom, located in the city of Newcastle, Australia.

This is still my favorite cafe racer I’ve ever seen. I remember reading the full build online a few years ago but cannot find it anymore. Glad I found proof i didn’t make it up.

The oil tank is especially clever Victor, very slim so as to fit in the gap perfectly and also protects dirt from the the rear wheel going forward.. The lights at the rear are brilliant. Yes the proportions of the headlight are correct. I love this bike in its entirety and would change a thing. Very often, almost always, you would change something but in this case I would change NOTHING. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🏍🏍🇬🇧

Simple, yet elegant. No, it does not take many words to describe this beautiful cafe racer.
The best looking Honda I have ever seen. It has been achieved by using the basics and applying them well. I had this strange sense of familiarity before you said it was Australian but when you did say it something inside went ahhh yes. Sounds parochial but it is not. A fine job even though it has a seemingly impossible riding position.

This bike doesnt need the stripes and whistles, simplicity made it beautiful even though if it were me id do some kind of art on the tank to make something pop out of the bike to make it something more amazing, but the innovation of hiding the gas tank lip with the seat and the leather work on that seat is classic rustic and just amazing this bike is just soo clean :D I cant wait till i get my cb360 im take an msf course next week hopefully :D

Moto perfeita. A filosofia mais certa que se pode ter. Menos é mais, o que sobrevive ao tempo na maioria das vezes são linhas simples e prático, por mais que não seja fácil de se conseguir algo assim. Não curto cromados, vi uma moto dos sonhos nesse video

It certainly is a beautiful machine, since my teens I liked the CB 750 and this rebirth is itself an example of simplicity and elegance, a renaissance in essence. The only thing that seems a bit out of place is the muffler. But yet it is a small detail that does not affect at all the bike that is beautiful.

Simplicidade é tudo, aliado à detalhes inteligentes, como mostrado nesta máquina, melhor ainda. Como diz um grande publicitário brasileiro, "detalhe, detalhe, detalhe"! Pra mim, para aliar a simplicidade ao primitivo, faltou freios à tambor no lugar dos discos. Ficaria perfeito. Forte abraço!
Por acaso até gostei de ver os discos de travão(Freio) neste projecto. Parece que a cor do aço dos discos condiz muito bem com a cor da moto. :) Um abraço.

Sou um desses que apreciam excelentes pinturas metálicas, ótimo verniz e algumas superfícies cromadas, mas tenho que reconhecer que tem toda razão sobre a pintura matte gray dessa moto.. a combinação de cores e texturas dos materiais e peças foi perfeita. Particularmente eu optaria por um conjunto ótico frontal menor e por escapes com uma pegada mais "racer" mas a moto é espetacular sem dúvida. Fiquei curioso sobre o que seria o compartimento plano com os aeroquips no subquadro.. reservatório de óleo? Mais uma vez o vídeo assumiu com perfeição e sutileza a alma da moto apresentada. Grande abraço.
Concordo plenamente. O farol da frente deveria ser um pouco mais pequeno, e o escapamento de 2 saídas independentes e inclinado. Sim aquela caixa de alumínio é o reservatório de óleo. Obrigado pelo comentário amigo. Um abraço.

Pretty good high quality effort and sensible project for that engine. Long reach to the bars. Add a few bits like indicators to get registered. Might add a wind deflector fairing up front for long trips and extra padding in the seat. Flashier paint job set it off.

When masters like that start working on rebulding old into new - did they restore most old parts or replace them with the new one? This like amazing, but 750 is to big for me, maybe 250 If i will find time, and cash ofc.
The logic tell us to restore what can be restorable, and replace the parts that cannot be restored(Which are usually the mechanic parts inside the engine). Thanks for your comment. Cheers.

I already tried a real american voice in one of my videos, but things didn't worked as i expected. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds very good for all non english natives. Cheers.

The projects on Racer TV are cool and the photography and video is often smartly done but the automated narration on these clips is annoying beyond words.

I use this "robotic" voice created by software, because I'm Portuguese, and my bad English accent (and voice), can ruin the documentary character that I like for my videos. I already tried a real American voice in one of my videos, but things didn't work as I expected. Curiously, the robotic voice sounds very good for all non-English natives.
But don't worry about this voice. I am already working on getting a good and real professional voice. Very soon it will be reality. But thank you for your feedback :) Cheers.

Too much Honda CB bikes, I would like to see '90+ projects
Not exacly. If you check my most recent videos, you will find a Suzuki GN 250 from the 90's , a 2013 Yamaha SR 400, and a 2015 Kawasaki Vulcan S. :) Cheers.
Its not about your videos, everywhere on TH-cam projects are mostly based on CB bikes. We need brave new builders with some crazy new style and visions. I love cafe style becouse of your videos, love you and carry on...
