  • This film is not designed for beginners! Foot dragging always comes with increased risk because you are flying close to the ground. However it's a popular pastime for intermediate and advanced pilots, so hopefully this advice will reduce some of the risk by providing the right techniques to foot drag safely.

Another great video and very timely too. I’ve been practicing and was told I should start up about 20 feet and practice, then work my way down as I get used to staying level. Eventually to foot drag. Makes sense about keeping the throttle even and adjust breaks slightly and are there to get up you out of trouble

It's like controling the car on a hill , with keeping the gas steady and gently moving the clutch up and down ( or hold it steady ) to contol the vehicle

There’s no other way to say I love you than with a mild choking. My boys show their love with randomly ramming their heads into my groin.

As a father of two boys 27 & 29 years old there’s no greater love and enjoyment. Fortunately, I still can fly in the US?

Do you recommend trims in or out for foot dragging? I'm thinking trims in you could be going too slow on a beginner wing and not have enough brake authority for corrections

On most wings you should ease out the trims an inch or so to give the wing more speed and as you say, more brake authority
