One thing I found with the Ultra is, that it looks excellent with whatever strap, band gets put on it. If I put a stainless steel strap on it, it really dresses it up. Equally put a sport band on it and it still looks excellent as it also does with the Trail Loops, Alpine Loops. I used to find that when I put a sport band on my stainless steel Apple Watch, that I used to find it looked a bit of a mismatch, not so with the Ultra.
This review was the one that persuaded me to get the Ultra. I appreciated the genuine ‘day in the life’ approach to testing the watch; most of the other reviews I watched were guys treating the Ultra as a challenge and going all out to break it or at least kill its battery stone dead in as short as possible a time. Definitely subscribing to your channel! 😊👍
Just picked up a ultra 2 about 3 weeks ago I’m very happy it does everything I think my favorite thing about it is the design it’s so unique but rugged switching the bands and faces make it seem like a different watch you will never get bored with it I keep my rings on the screen to motivate me to close them daily the battery is fantastic I usually get about 3 days with about 30% left so I recommend this beast

Awesome. I upgraded to the ultra watch 2. I was using the 6. Yes, easily see and type on it now. I’ve gotten 40 hours without needing to charge it.

Yes I still have the Ultra! I will probably make a long term review soon ✨ I use it everyday and just switched the band to the 45mm sports band 🤌

Actually I am considering to buy Ultra or Tag Heuer at this moment. I prefer Ultra coz it’s much cheaper with more outstanding features but the problem is my wrist is so thin. It is 14 cms, even smaller than yours🤦🏻♀️ Does the tip of the band reach the edge of the watch?

I absolutely love the ultra, I'll never be getting a standard apple watch again. Hopefully I won't be getting another ultra anytime soon either, I'm planning on using this thing for years and years.

I just upgraded from a series 6 to this. I got the gray/black alpine loop with the orange tab. I am liking it so far but am considering getting the navy ocean band too. I got the size small.
Yes Ultra team 🙌 I’m not using the ocean band anymore it got a bit too thick for me 😭 I now got one of the 45mm sports bands and it’s great for everyday 🥰

@@KlaudTech I got the white ocean band with it but I managed to resell the band I get a red one I just love the Apple Watch ultra the battery life is incredible compared to my series 7 I had before

Did you use consistently for sleep tracking? I have the same size wrist as you and am wondering if it will be comfortable for that? Or if I should get the 8? Also, which band did you find the most comfortable for continuous wear?
i also have a small wrist...unfortunately the watch is quite big and it looks unnatural 😞
It is bearable to wear in ur sleep but I prefer to take it off as it gets more sweaty for me especially with the thicker ocean band. With the series 8 it is more comfortable and with the sports band as it feels softer on my wrist 💗

Totally agree. If people like the look then to hell with and who cares what people say. I'm sick of reading rude comments on either You Tube or other forums where people think its ok to make rude comments on someones wrist size just because they wear the Ultra. People do not need wrists as wide as their leg to wear the Ultra. I certainly think the posters of the rude comments are mostly doing it out of jealously.

i have to say you make it look really useful in day-to-day life and i like how everything looks on the screen. and some of those features you showed i know i'd use every day ( the light and map especially!) . i think i'll pick one up and try it out. oh, is it apple-pay only or will google-pay work as well?

I've used the 45mm Sport Bands that I've had for years on the Ultra and they work perfectly. Even when very sweaty on the Stairmaster in the gym.
Good choice! I switched mine from ocean band to Elderberry sports band and it fits my smaller wrist better and feels lighter!

Excellent video, really enjoyed it. I got the Ultra a couple of weeks ago, along with the orange Alpine Loop, Green Alpine Loop and the black/grey Trail Loop which came on the watch.
I got the Series 8 when it first came out, after initially not liking the Ultra on thin wrists (I have thin wrists). But recently the Ultra has really grown on me and I regretted not getting it over the Series 8. So I decided to order the Ultra, try it out for 7 days on my day to use, and see if I like it better than the Series 8. If I do, I would sell the Series 8 (I should still get a lot of money back for it as it's the stainless steel model and it's still the newest model).
I'm absolutely loving the Ultra and my only regret is not getting instead of the Series 8 when it first came out. My first impression strangely was that it looked smaller on my wrist than I thought it would, and also despite it been larger than the Series 8, it does not really feel heavier on my wrist than it. I suppose with me been used to wearing the stainless steel 45mm version there is not a great deal of difference in the weight between it and the titanium of the Ultra, hence why I don't really feel any weight difference with the Ultra. Things that I'm really enjoying are the flat screen, larger screen, the extra brightness (which I'm really noticing outdoors) the increased battery life, and basically just that totally different look to what we are used to seeing with the standard Apple Watch. Yes I will never use this watch to its full potential, but saying that, how many people buy expensive divers style watches from Rolex, Omega, Breitling and similar and never go anywhere near water or scuba diving with them. If I continue to enjoy the Ultra, then I can safely say that I will be moving over to the Ultra from the standard Apple Watch from hereon.

I love the commentary and information you provide but your pronunciation of the "th" sound as "f" is a bit annoying, detracting from an otherwise enjoyable viewing experience. Is that a muddling of an Eastern European or Russian accent with British or is it a straight Cockney trait? I'm sure you're aware of it but a few examples include saying "fun fings to do" instead of "fun things to do", "a day in the life wiff..." instead of "a day in the life with..." or "that's everyfing" instead of "that's everything." Hopefully you can correct this small dialect flaw for future videos as your content is a pleasure to watch. Cheers!

I thought it was a great video! I've been fixating on the Ultra for some time, even though I am a Samsung phone and Watch 4 user. I have been for years. You presented the watch so naturally, its strength and weaknesses. Ease of communication (strength) and tendency to micro scratch (weakness). Thank goodness you weren't hanging from a 13th floor window telling us the time, or deep sea diving with 30 sharks using your Google Maps. I will watch your follow up videos of the Ultra and then decide if I will buy one. The only problem is I'll have to buy an Apple phone as well! I'll probably go for the 14 Plus Pro.

I am a man and 43 years old. Even for me, the watch is too big. I love the Ultra, but in the long run I find it uncomfortable on my wrist.
The 8 I can wear 24 hours without problems.
I think everyone’s tolerance is different but I get ur point ☺️
