Thanks Rob, Loved your fabulous feedback... The Bum-bag is the best way for carrying a mobile phone and or for putting your sunglasses into after dark / after sunset, when we end up paddling home at night or in the dark... Catch up soon Ptol
I can believe you _paddled_ nine miles each way, fighting the tide. But it's *under seven nautical miles* from Eastoke Point to the Nab. Still a fabulous challenge though, well done. 👍
Yes Fish-Hawk... We agree... 17.61 miles total is 15.3 Nautical Miles @ conversion rate of 1.15x miles = 1 nautical mile... I went outbound via Dean Tail Cardinals / Ship wreck & Crossed between the Dean Tail (Green Bouy) to Nab End (Red Bouy) to cut the shortest / narrowest route through the shipping lanes, so 9 miles out (7.82 Nautical Miles) to Nab Tower & came back paddling between Nab 2 & Nab 1 shipping lanes & stayed east of the shipping lanes from N1 to N7 on the way back via West Pole / Chimet tower so that was 8.5 miles (7.38 nautical miles) & 17.61 miles in total. Data & Statistics from my Garmin Forerunner GPS Watch...

I tried this a few years in a Kayak from Eastoke Beach, the same as you, but I only made it about half way. Well done.
