I think Tywin said that because Arya wasn't interested in dresses and looking pretty. Cersei in 7th season says how she learnt the value of gold and other lessons from Tywin

@@zagreus5773 the first thing that comes to my mind is paying attention to little details. Tywin saw through Arya properly, he immediately knew Arya was a girl, and noticed she didn't speak like an usual low born northerner (which he isn't very familiar with).
Parallel to this skill she also figured out that she has to be more careful with her disguises, so nobody can ever get a hint.
I like to believe Tywin had his suspicions but couldn't verify it before he had to leave and she escaped.

Also the dragon and kraken who were raised by wolves, while the stag raised a Lion who thought himself a stag.
The little bird of the wolf pack that grew to be a mighty falcon.
The wolf that learnt to be a raven.
In general, the wolf pack that was loyal to itself.
The two stags who locked horns in combat.
The lions that lived and died by their pride. While the runt who they rather leave to die managed to achieve greater things by leaving his pride behind.

I dunno, people make Visenya out to be some mastermind above Aegon and the others but... Aegon had the right temperament as King, and he was off in Westeros to make peace and connections with his new Lords.
Visenya did well but I feel people don't give all 3 the credit they each deserve for their parts (even if Aegon and Visenya typically did more of it)
So no I don't think it's fair to say Visenya "basically did all the ruling" after she crowned Aegon, he was just as much a part of it.
Rhaenys was the soft one, Visenya the more brutal one, Aegon was a decent middle ground. Reasonable but also a man of his word to those who opposed him, promising Fire and Blood.
So I mean, I dunno... her placing Maegor on the Throne and letting him off on his reign of fear and the likes led to Maegor basically dying alone with a rough run.
Yes some fear is needed but it's clear to me that Maegor took after his mother more than father, and that says something
As Arya said, she was a great warrior, and was very important to the Targaryen Conquest, but Aegon was the one who truly led them there. Visenya is more like Robert or Stannis, in the sense of a Warrior, but in terms of proper rule, Aegon specialized in that

It would have been amazing if
    1) Tywin got to know Arya’s real identity at some point before his death. There’s no payoff in the end for the whole Tywin-Arya arc, given that they were provided so much of screen time and rich conversation (much more than Tywin just passing on orders to a cupbearer).
    2) If Arya could get her hands on Dark Sister somehow to fight the walkers in S8. Aegon and his 2 sisters (one of them with Dark Sister sword) fought for Westros. This arc could have been a foreshadow of Aegon (Jon) and his 2 sisters fighting for Westros (against White Walkers), with Arya using Dark Sister sword (being the dark sister of the 2).

That "HEH" he gives at her comment that "most girls are idiots" can be dissected in multiple ways based on how well you know Tywin.
First is the obvious one, it reminded him of something Cersei would say, which he admitted right after.
Second, of course is that he wasn't expecting her to say something so witty, and it caught him off guard.
Third, he probably agrees with her, considering Tywin isn't exactly a very progressive figure in GoT, and likely doesn't have high expectations of women outside of strategic marriages

A very simple conversation between two people, but it has deep undertones and puts a thousand things in place for us to see.
Arya is not too dissimilar to Cersei(the woman she hates most), Tywin respects a person's skill, courage and tenacity, aryas love of great heroes and a sort of foreshadowing of her becoming a dark sister herself.
    What happened to this show?
