+Tristan Tefft : Hey bud, thnx for stoppn in to check out the video. lol. I saw you having so much fun with yours that I just had to get mine fixed & in the air. Definitely a sweet little heli. I'm going to be flying this thing A LOT !!!
I actually crashed mine straight into the ground last night. No damage! Good thing for the carbon landing gear, the aluminum torque tube, hold mode, and the grass being there. I just got a little too close to the ground while hovering inverted. Lol.
+tntneon : Wsup TNT ! Thanx 4 droppn in !! The 180 is definitely a fun little heli. I hate to hear you got rid of yours. Are you coming back to Helis anytime soon?
Looking good buddy I still need to put mine back together after trying to tinker with the MSH Brain. She is a nice little heli and I don't see why some people don't like it unless they have something better that's around the same size.
+CrysisPointman : You definitely need to get yours going, as it seems like a sweet little heli so far. Just need to fight through the pain to get it sorted. I still have some tuning I need to do on the tail, but it flies pretty good despite. It crashes better than I thought it would & it's fairly quick & easy to fix. I'll be spending a lot of time with little thing for sure. Thnx for stoppn by bud !!
+Chad B. (ThatFLYguy101) I definitely do need to sit down and get it going. The problem I had was sometimes the motor wouldn't spool up when I gave a throttle command it would just sit there and twitch. It was ok at first but sometimes I couldn't even get it going at all. I did purchase the Microheli belt drive and carbon fiber tail fin and now I get tail vibes.
+CrysisPointman: yeah, seems like in the beginning it's just one thing after another with this heli. it's hard to believe something this small can cause so much frustration. I'm trying to be patient & sort the bugs out. Metal servos, flybarless & maybe just a few metal parts were on my to do list. I haven't had issue with the motor yet & am hoping that it will last for a while. I'm really hoping that once it's sorted it'll be smooth sailing. Thanks for the heads up on the belt tail vibes. I think I'm going to just stick with the TT. Plus it's quick & ez to replace. (sigh) I must admit, I've been a little disappointed thus far.... but still hoping for the best.
I have four of these 180s ranging from stock to full body kits running all the way up to 1200mAh batteries and I have never had a issue with the stock FBL unit. If you don't want your 180 to get away from you then fly in stability mode.
+James M : I'm really not sure what happen to the factory FBL unit. It basically just stopped responding one day. Weird. That's when I went ahead and got the IKON mini. Everything seems to be all good again. Thanks 4 stoppn in bud. DOn't forget to subscribe !
That is the info I was looking for. I fly and own 4 230's and they are great so figured I was ready for this one. LOL thought being key word it is way too touchy. I'll try your DR/ and expo setting in normal and see what I get. After HH sends it back. Out of the box this has been junk. tail servo first flight in under a minute. Then ESC and motor. I mean really. HH needs to step it up on this one or look really bad. My 550x is way more docile with stock SPM file settings.
Cliff Wheeler My Blade 230 S has been nothing but a pain in the azz. Finally got it working right after I figured out it was stripped servos straight out of the box. As for the Blade 180 CFX it should have come with metal gear servos straight out of the box and the tail servo just isn't worth a damn. You have to have a little bit of mechanical skills to handle the 180 as you will be working on it to figure out which parts to upgrade.
lol. Bob this whole 180cfx experience ended up being one big pain in the @ss for me. I gave up on it. The 180 is a piece of cheap junk imo. Probably the last Blade product I will ever buy.
Hey bud !! Ooof. I had such high hopes for that 180, but it turned out to be a hot mess money pit. Never could get the tail on that thing quite sorted.
@chadb.104 , yes I bought 3 used cfx 180's last year. Have Parted them out . Selling electronics off an keeping usable for my 150 Balde. Tail was a nightmare
lol. It's only the fpv part of quads that hold my interest. Without fpv, quads would bore me to death. Helis are far more challenging imo, and will always be my main rc love.
Its so frustrating when you see other people say i just set it up like the manual said and it flies perfect i have had a few people that have been flying helis for decades and we couldn't get it to ever fly well it allways had vibrations and the tail allways ticked no matter what we changed
Bob Barker: Yeah, I just got tired of messing with mine & actually haven't flown it in awhile. When it flew, It did ok, but I wasn't able to get the tail really locked like I wanted either. I think my biggest mistake was just expecting too much. I do wish I'd picked up a t-rex, CopertX 250 or maybe even an Oxy3 instead. I believe I would've been much happier.
That is a great buy. Defiantly best for gyms on cold winter days.

Looking good brother.. I wish I still had my lil 180. Be blessed

+Chad B. (ThatFLYguy101) I may have something up my sleeve ;). Be blessed
I will give you mine for 75 bucks

Very nice flybarrless system.

It has a stability node and how do you put it in that mode read the manual never saw anything about stability mode
Bob Barker set your control rates down to 50% with 10% Expo. It doesn't self level but it makes it a whole lot less squirrely.

Nice job bro,
+Flyn lo : Thnx Flyn !! It's nice having something small that I can just step out & fly in my back yard with. Thing is actually fairly tough too !!
Good luck setting up that damn icon what a pain in the ass they are
lol. Bob this whole 180cfx experience ended up being one big pain in the @ss for me. I gave up on it. The 180 is a piece of cheap junk imo. Probably the last Blade product I will ever buy.

@@oldmandoingstuff8997 That 180 really makes me appreciate the omp m2 I have today. Lol
Buy a nice 250 quad and you will never buy another heli

It definitely has been a pain. Yes, I definitely wish I would've gotten a 250 instead !
