I know this is an old video, but new to me. I loved it. I like to track books read and what category they are, like self help, fiction, ect. and contacting friends and relatives, text, email, phone, snail mail ect. I want to track journaling. and self care, like buble baths, face mask, massage , me time. ect.

HA! I made the suggestion about tracking how many times you eat Mexican food and that's a good thing! My work team and my family are all huge fans of any type of Mexican food and one night we were talking about how much we eat it and when I saw your Insta story, I had to chime in. I have my February tracker ready!

Please dont judge. I have manic depression. Self care is very hard for me to even want to do😞the worst is personal hygiene 😢 getting out of bed , remembering to eat and getting to my appointments.
    😮. I never thought about
    tracking these until seeing this
    video. Thank you.
Yes its a struggle to shower and wash my hair. 😳
I track my emotions so I know if I'm getting in to my danger zone. I hope you know what I mean. I have an emotion tracking color wheel 😊

Dove has a dry shampoo that works great, volume and fullness- mainly white bottle with some purple designs. When you spray your hair it can come out kinda ‘powder’ looking, but run a brush through and you’re good to go!!! It brings your hair back from the brink and is a lifesaver for those last minute plans!!! They have it at Target in regular size and a travel size too (over in the travel section) if you just want to test it out. It’s phenomenal!!!

About the hair thing...I have really dark hair and I used to have to wash my hair every single day, but now dry shampoo is my best friend. I used to hate the way dry shampoo made my hair feel but some brands are not that bad. I’ll wash my hair and leave it down that day and then the next day I’ll spray some dry shampoo in my hair but make sure u take your fingers and rub the dry shampoo into the roots and that day I’ll put my hair up in a cute messy bun, and then the next day I’ll start over and wash my hair again. Sometimes I can get 3 days without washing it but that’s very seldom. But yes dry shampoo has changed my life, especially since I have thick and long hair. I save about 45 min in the mornings when I don’t have to wash or style my hair, I throw it up in a cute messy bun and TA-DA I’m done!

Baro pressure sets off my back pain. That’s a good one to track. Also, in some states many suffer from seasonal depression. That could be tracked as well.

The more you wash your hair, the greasier it becomes.. I used the think I had to wash my hair daily. IT took me about two weeks of not washing daily to train it to stop being oily. Now I wash it twice a week and it has never been healthier. You should try it!

    • @kellofaplan

I knooooow. This is going to sound weird, but I have a SUPER sensitive scalp. My hair is naturally curly but I straighten it most days. If I leave it straight for more than a day without washing it, it makes my scalp hurt!! So I knoooow I need to just let it be greasy for a few days and then try to only wash a few days a week but it's just so hard! lol

Heather Kell are you using a particular hair product when you wear it straight? Could be a scalp/skin sensitivity to an ingredient.

my hair was like yours and i washed it everyday... until my new hairdresser told me that it was bad for my hair.. i now wash it twice a week and dont use dry shampoo or anything.. just brush it and set it.. it took a week or so but i started by just washing every second day and then every third day and now its twice a week and the oils in my hair have settled down alot that they are used to it.

I track "NO SODA, STEPS, and EXERCISE," and have been for awhile. I'm trying to track days I get to bed before 2a.m., which isn't working very well, yet. (I have a very hard time sleeping and can't stay in bed because it causes anxiety.) I'm also tracking days I don't work into the wee hours of the morning, (until 1:30 a.m.). I work from home 3x/wk, (hrs being 7:00 a.m to 4:30 pm), and tend to work way past my log off time, (4:30), BECAUSE I can't sleep and have to be doing something, so it may as well be productive. I'm also starting to track "NEW HOBBIES," which I'm listing separately. I'm learning brush lettering, (which I stink at so far), diamond painting, and ZENTANGLE, (which I'm having trouble with as well. LOL) I could not believe the list you have. MOST of these things I would not have thought of at all. I loved this video. :)

I'm lucky my husband is Mexican and his mom taught him how to make a bunch of stuff. So I personally think that it's a great thing to eat Mexican food, and a plus to eat it at home.
Hair trick I have the same problem with my hair getting too greasy. I use dry shampoo. I also only put conditioner on the ends to the middle of my hair. It helps my hair not to get too oily and I can go 2-3 days w/o washing my hair

    • @kristinmparrott

I got one off the top of my head. The Mexican rice that we all love it's so easy. Put a bit of oil into skillet, or u can use a pot. Put in your rice. Reg rice works. Brown it, this takes a while so long that I'm impatient and don't like to make it. Once the rice is lightly to golden brown add half a can (up to a full can, depending in how red you want it or less red) add your water and make like you normally would.
