I absolutely loved your video. As a person who has lived in Saudi Arabia until my late teens, we used to go for Umrah 3-4 times a year at least and I used to love it. As we moved to another country, I realized how for granted we had taken the privilege of being able to go. I am a bit surprised that you are the first in your family to have gone for Umrah. I thought it was a subcontinent issue that people rarely went for Umrah and left Hajj for old age when we don't even know how long we are going to live. I really appreciate this video and hope that many people are inspired by this video and prioritize Hajj and Umrah over other vacations. You are so right when you say that Allah invited you. I hope Allah invites us soon and many times. Ameen. JazakumAllah khayr katheer.
Hello. I am a newly revert and I plan to go soon with my husband. Do you have any tips for the both of us? I’m very confused about the part that we “can’t be husband and wife”. Which part is that and what do we do if he has to push me on a wheelchair? (I can’t walk long distances because of chronic illness but I will try my best to walk as far as I can without fainting)
Hello. I just wanted to point out that this being an issue in the subcontinent is not true. Atleast in my surroundings. I live in Pakistan and people go to perform Umrah all the time. Idk me might be from different societies or areas

Assalamualaikum! Hello, I'm from the Philippines, I'm a Filipino, and my family and I went to Hajj before, but it was all taken care of by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos formerly known as Office on Muslim Affairs. All we needed to do was to go and register there and they gave us leaflets and booklets on how to do Hajj & Umrah. So basically a guide. Also for our Visa, accommodation and transportation were all taken care of by the said office. We were subdivided into groups and we are guided by a Sheikh. So it went all smooth Subhanallah. It's such a blessing. Made me cry too. The best thing that happened to us. Alhamdulillah! But MashaAllah you did your Umrah. I'm so happy for you both! May Allah continue to bless you and keep you safe always.🫶🏻
In Malaysia, umrah is very commonly mentioned. I am surprised it is not the same for you guys. Anyways, happy that u guys went! May Allah invites us all to the Holy place
Alhamdulillah I went for umrah too a month ago and me and my family can't wait to go back! To help everyone learn more about umrah there's a book how to perform umrah by sheikh Saleem dhorat and it explains the ins and outs what's allowed and not allowed in Ihram in a very easy way. Inshallah Allah take us all there time and time again ameen
Subhanallah, brought a tear watching this 😭 Esp watching brother dawoud breaking into tears. I can only imagine how seeing the Kaaba for the first time feels like. May allah swt invite us all to his house to perform our hajj and umrah 😭😭😭😭
Salam guys. I’m not 100% but I think I heard you say you didn’t assume Ihram upon entering the meeqaat because you were not going to do Umrah that day. As far as I know, whether you are performing umrah immediately or not, before entering the meeqaat, so when flying over in the plane, you have to make intention for Ihram, put the correct clothing on and ahdhere to all the rules and regulations. So in your case if you were landing in Jeddah, that’s already passed the meeqaat, hence it must be done on the plane or even before that. Now because you are in the state of Ihram when you get the Makkah, it would be best to do umrah immediately whether day or night, or else there’s many mistakes you could make for which you would have to give compensation the longer you stay in ihram and haven’t performed umrah. But it’s not a condition, so if you were to rest up, eat (keeping in mind you’re in ihram ) and then go, that’s also fine. The point being you cannot enter any meeqaat points without being in the state of Ihram. So if you did enter without being in Ihram, you’d have to go back to a meeqaat, so the masjid you mentioned, and enter into ihram (intention plus clothes). At the same time you’d have to pay fidyah, a compensation, for entering the meeqaat initially without being a state of Ihram. That’s the main thing I wanted to point out in case you guys didn’t, I believe you are meant to pay fidyah for the mistake of not assuming ihram when entering meeqaat. Which can be done later, even now, just a couple of pounds or so, websites will clarify. Again, this is what I studied so not sure if there’s a difference of opinion of this is the 100% ruling according to all schools of thoughts. I also went to umrah a few weeks ago so did look into it again.
I haven't watched your guys videos in a while but I'm so glad that this Ramadaan has changed that. I couldn't stop the tears from flowing listening to your guys Umrah story. I'm definitely saving this video as reference for my turn to visit InshaAllah
I went 2021 with my family and friends and imagine we all came to the airport hours before to get checked in and everything.and we were so excited only to find out they canceled our flight 😭 and then we came back the next day and told us there’s no seats for us. You will definitely get tested when your doing something for the sake of Allah. 😊
Bless you guys. That's phenomenal! You've planted the seed for Umrah in my brain. When I'll have the chance to go, I'll keep you in my duaa. Thank you so much for sharing. So grateful for your experience.
How blessed to be guests of The Almighty and thank you for using your experience to inspire others. On the group barricades during tawaf, most are not just doing their first umrah, they may be travelling out of their remote villages for the first time ever. So when i imagined what must be an immense deep fear of losing their group, I stepped back, smiled and silently gave way.. We are so blessed to be seasoned travellers that our focus can be primarily on the umrah rituals.
The way you described your experience was incredibly peaceful. That had to have been an amazing feeling. I'm sure no words can truly express how it felt but when you said that everyone was on the same flow and it was great, that was something to hear. So happy that you were able to go and thank you for sharing a really personal experience.
Subhanallah That was crazy!! Thanks for making this video, no one ever tells you this stuff about booking the ticket. Alhamdulilah you guys were able to make it! Umrah Mubarak, May Allah swt. accept your ibaadah and answer your duas! ❤️❤️
Really, enjoyed the spontaneity and authenticity of all your reflections from start to end of your journey. May Allah accept and reward you for this Umrah and all your good deeds.
assalamu alaykum from philippines my tears just came out of my eyes watching you guys ma shaa Allah, may Allah grant everyone of us to visit his house one day in shaa Allah. Ameen.
I still remember seeing the ka3baah for the first time I was around 10 years old or maybe younger it felt very emotional and for some reason I get that flashback a lot recently.❤
May you two continue to be the coolness of each other’s eyes. Thank you for making a REAL and raw reflection of Ummrah. I pray Allah invite you back to His house for Hajj and many many times. I needed this and made Dua like Allah took you two to His house to take me there …iA with less tests. I have been making Dua and dreaming to go there for over 15 yrs now - and this video was God sent for me. I feel it in my bones Allah will invite me to His house this year iA - please say Ameen ! Thank you for such moving content! May Allah puts all the blessings and reward for the two of you and your beautiful relationship that’s a true definition of love and serenity.
MashaAllah, you guys! May Allah SWT accept your Umrah. Dawoud crying made me cry as well because sometimes just thinking about seeing Kaba makes me cry my heart out 😭 💕💕
@Jasmine & Dawoud As a agnostic "Christian", you definitely inspired me to question things and although I am still searching, I love all your videos especially the ones that talk about religion.
Oh my mashallah my sister and brother, what a beautiful experience u had, I'm sure when u started your umrah u forgot all about the tests that happened before getting there because once u see the qaaba for the first time, it just makes it all worth it...May Allah SWT grant u umrah maqbool and may u get that invitation from Allah again soon Ameen🤲
I love how transparent you guys were about how clueless you felt. I’m planning on going soon inshAllah w/out a travel Umrah group so will be doing a DIY Umrah and I feel like I don’t have enough time to prepare but love the assurance you guys provided on how eventually u figure it out. I appreciate you guys for sharing this content as it really has been hard finding information on Umrah for first timers.
Don't worry about haters there will always be someone trying to tear you down. You both are beautiful people and there's more that love you than that don't!
Alhamdulillah. I have been for haj and umrah more then once. Its definitely a very2 rejuvinating experience. I would recommend to all muslims who can afford it to go for umrah instead of holidays to other places. It really feels so rejuvinating spiritually. It makes worshipping Allah so pleasurable. I love it so much. I have been doing since my younger days and believe me when I say its better to go when you are still young and have the energy to perform all the rituals by yourself. Now that I am in my late sixties, I still go but when performing the saie, the 7 rounds betw Safa and Marwah, I use the scooter instead. Its better to walk the distance😅. This is why I recommend that you should do it while you are still young and energetic to do the almost 3 km 🚶♂️ amongst the thousands of worshippers. To get the invitation to go is to plant the thought and intention in your heart and mind. May Allah make it easy for all of us. Aamiin.
I am so happy that Allah has given you the chance to perform Umrah. It is a such peaceful and beautiful journey. I understand why Dawoud is emotion. Known that Allah has invited you to his house is the best feeling in the world. I would differently recommend that you visit Medina next time you perform Umrah or Hajj it’s the most peaceful city I’ve ever been to and the experience is amazing!! ❤
After I back from Umrah 2017...in the couple of weeks i still got dreaming that i was still there such doing tawaf ....I really miss the Mekah and madinnah
Alhamdulillah I came from umrah 1week ago, May Allah accept our duas ameen, it's a life changing experience! and may we be invited to the house of Allah again and again. Thank you guys for sharing your experience, Did you visit Madina?
My father took me for Hajj the year that I got married. After that I honestly thought that Allah t'ala did not want me to return. I prayed for another opportunity to be able to see the Kaa'ba for 33 years! Finally this March Allah t'ala granted me the opportunity. I got to perform Umrah with my mom, my aunt, my cousin and my 2 sisters. It is the most beautiful experience that you will ever have. I tried to remember everyone who had requested that I pray for them. But honestly it was hard. My mind was blank, all I could do is weep uncontrollably. I have prayed that I will be able to return very soon with my children InshaAllah
Umrah Mubarak 🤍 For anyone performing Umrah I would definitely recommend “Hajj and Umrah made easy” flip book. It has everything step by step that you need including all duas and you can wear it around your neck during Umrah so that you worry about learning everything off by heart.
So interesting! In Southeast Asia region, maybe it’s how our families could be or in general as a whole, we always are encouraged to go Umrah, old or young. Haj for some of us, can be expensive and perhaps we be too old to perform it as some of the countries have been given limited space. Thank you for sharing your experience and a different insight to your culture too and perspectives too! The fact you both went without your group, is such a brave thing to do, not sure if I could do the same. May you both find your way back to Mecca again for Umrah and Haj. :)) InShaAllah.
3 months ago I went to Umrah with my family. Alhamdulillah it was an incredible journey. My favorite part of Umrah is when I was running between the two mountains of safa and marwa. When I was running I feel like I was Roman Reigns (WWE Superstar Wrestler) or Superman. Keep up with the good videos. May Allah bless you both. Ameen.
We went to Umrah recently as well and SUBHAN ALLAH Dawood and Jasmine reaction really gave me goosebumps because it was so relatable to have I reacted it really is a indescribable feeling the best thing that can ever happen to anyone and especially being test while on the way to Umrah is even more rewards combined May ALLAH grant us all to be able to go ❤️🤲🕋
Hello guys. I'm from Saudi, Makkah to be specific. Your video came across my feed and I highly recommend to go to Makkah or Medina during Ramadan and attend Taraweh prayer. It's a whole different experience.
May Allah accept your Umrah!! Alhamdullilah, my husband and I went for Hajj 22 years ago. I can't explain how amazing it was. I was so emotional, cried a lot. I have never felt that way in my life. I think it is better to go to Hajj when we are young, because it will change your life.
Alhamdullilah... thank you for sharing your experience. It's been heavy on my heart to perform Umrah.. And I am crying because I think I got the invitation...
SubhanAllah!! Jasmine and Dawood, this took me back to my Umrah trip in 2021. 🥰 I had tears in my eyes watching this video. May Allah reward you both Insha'Allah and accept all our ibadah. Ameen. 🤲🏾

Mash'allah beautiful video ..... We just went recently completed umrah , The experience going round the kaaba is so beautiful so many muslims were crowded around the kaba shreef it was like hajj season can't believe how crowded it was. You do feel refreshed when you come back it's like you have turned in to a new person. I think more people are doing umrah now instead of hajj people can't afford hajj its too expensive.
Very inspiring MashaAllah. When you went to Jeddah by plane you crossed the meeqat so should have been in Ihram as soon as you got there. Next time visit Madinah, it's the right (haq) of our beloved Prophet peace be upon him. It's completely different experience and very peaceful.
This was sooo helpful! I'm also young and have been yearning to go however didn't know where to start. This was incredibly insightful, may Allah bless you both and answer your duas
Hey Dawoud and Jasmine! Maybe ask someone of knowledge about intending to do umrah but not going in the state of ihram from your country of residence cause I believe there are specific conditions for passing miqat from Al Taneem mosque in Makkah like you did. I would honestly check if it is permissible to go without ihram and passing the miqat on the plane without getting into the state of ihram if your intention was to go for umrah the next day anyway. Just check May Allah accept you umrah! It's just to make sure that others don't follow in case this isn't correct
I think for anyone going for Umrah or Hajj, they really should be taking a class as to how to actually perform it. It's a once in a lifetime experience for many and so many just try to wing it
MashAllah Jasmine is more hijabi than most people and youtubers.like I recently noticed that many youtubers hijabis who got famous because of it are now showing a thin visible line of hair near the forehead.like the hijab is slipping backwards. Anyways I am not judging but want to express myself honestly. May Allah accept your duas and ibadah in Umrah. This video gave me a very positive and emotional ( in term of faith) vibes.alhamdulillah
Mashallaaaaa 😍😍 I wish u guys to visit Al Madina soon for ziyarat Rasool Allah Mohammed at Al Masjid Al Nabawi and all Imam’s of ahl Al bayt inshalla In baaqii and Iraq and Iran ya rab as it’s an extraordinary experience 🥹🙌🏻

Vidoe is so relatable we travel so much but forget to go to most important places.I will definetly be going by end of year god willing. it would be really nice if you made a video regarding your quran study and how we can start. I have been wanting to begin learning quran properly.
MashAllah may Allah accept your Umra ❤ i did Huj in 2022 and it was just such an amazing experience that words can’t describe. Cant wait to go back again InshAllah
28:03 as Salaamu Alaikum went I made Hajj they let us out a different door in Madinah and I was lost and walking on a dirt road at 2 am in the morning I looked up and saw the green lights from the Mosque and followed it back to my hotel which was right next door. The look on the brothers faces who worked in the hotel when I strolled in at 2:30am by myself PRICELES!!! Thank you for your story. Getting ready InSha Allah to make Ummrah leaving on Tuesday
I love it!!! Love this video! ❤ I went on Umrah in 2015 . I would love to go with my husband and children Inshallah the experience is just amazing. Umrah Maqbool and mabroor InShaAllah ❤
18:16 I have never heard of this before 😭 and I searched it up and none of the trusted scholars have mentioned not looking into a mirror part of the things you shouldn't do in ihram ❤
Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam, and Umrah is also a farida, so you must do it at least once, of course, if you are financially and physically capable (لمن استطاع اليه سبيلا). And do not wait until you’re old because you can’t be sure you will live longer or will be capable of it in the future. May Allah accept your umrah❤️
Inshallah me and my family are going for Umrah soon, myself and hubby & my 4yr old!I have been to Hajj couple of times but the last time I was in Saudi was 14yrs ago!Watching this made me laugh and cry so many truths about the tests and experiences one may encounter!😅But anyways such an awesome video of your experience/journey!!I honestly thought it was such a long video but enjoyed every minute of it throughly!!Much love and May Allah accept all our acts of worship!!❤
Have you visited Medina as well? If so would be nice to hear about your experiences regarding to Medina! :) And thank you finally a nice video about umrah
like you said when you're in a state of ihram you can't clip your hair or nails so you can't be the one to cut it for yourself in the end. It's totally fine for your husband to do it and sometimes you find women that offer to do so after you're done. Also the husband part you're still very much so married and he can look at you just fine just nothing provocative during that time (basically the same as when fasting)... rabna yattakabal inshallah :)
Sis I just want to let you know that when you are in the state of ihraam you are not allowed to perform certain things such as cutting or shaving of hair. Therefore, it should have been someone else cutting your hair at the end as opposed to you, as you were still in the state of ihraam. Dawud got his hair cut my someone else that wasn’t in the state of ihraam, it would therefore make sense for his to cut your hair as he will have been out of the state of ihraam. Hope that’s makes sense ❤
“You don’t invite yourself to the house of God, Allah invites you there”. SubhanaAllah, so powerful
Undoubtedly 🙏

In Malaysia, umrah is very commonly mentioned. I am surprised it is not the same for you guys. Anyways, happy that u guys went! May Allah invites us all to the Holy place
Alhamdulillah I went for umrah too a month ago and me and my family can't wait to go back! To help everyone learn more about umrah there's a book how to perform umrah by sheikh Saleem dhorat and it explains the ins and outs what's allowed and not allowed in Ihram in a very easy way. Inshallah Allah take us all there time and time again ameen
This made me want to perform Umrah and take my mom (please make dua for us). Sounds like such a beautiful experience, may Allah bless you both❤️

I loved your unique take on the trip by sharing tips and what you learned, the logistics, mistakes, etc. Well done!

Oh my mashallah my sister and brother, what a beautiful experience u had, I'm sure when u started your umrah u forgot all about the tests that happened before getting there because once u see the qaaba for the first time, it just makes it all worth it...May Allah SWT grant u umrah maqbool and may u get that invitation from Allah again soon Ameen🤲
th-cam.com/video/owqi5FCP51A/w-d-xo.html
How beautiful, may your umrah and duas all be accepted inshallah
May ALLAH accept your Umrah, I just returned from Umrah last week, like you mention it's is truly an Invitation from ALLAH to HIS House❤😢😢
Baraka Allahu feekom both! Truly inspirational. May Allah grant us all Umrah and Haj!
Alhamdullilah!
Thks for sharing your Umrah journey.
Dont look in the mirror is such a classic one
Umrah Mubarak 🤍
For anyone performing Umrah I would definitely recommend “Hajj and Umrah made easy” flip book. It has everything step by step that you need including all duas and you can wear it around your neck during Umrah so that you worry about learning everything off by heart.
The best feeling on this earth. When I went I felt like I was floating on air.
Ameen.
Being tested during umrah is so real. I kept fighting with my mother and my sister the whole trip. I came back to Canada and we were cool. Crazy!
You write in English very well
@@pattyr1980 haha thanks. I spent 8 years in the states studying that may be why 😅

May Allah accept your Umrah!! Alhamdullilah, my husband and I went for Hajj 22 years ago. I can't explain how amazing it was.
I was so emotional, cried a lot. I have never felt that way in my life. I think it is better to go to Hajj when we are young, because it will change
your life.
you both are great and reallyyyy influential.. u positively inspire and influence many muslims who may not message u to tell that
keep it up!
♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
There is an overload of cuteness coming through from you two guys ♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
Alhamdullilah... thank you for sharing your experience. It's been heavy on my heart to perform Umrah.. And I am crying because I think I got the invitation...

Pure deep in my heart i just wanna say may god-Allah accept your umrah n protect you both n family , bravo young muslim ummat , respect ❤ from jkrta
Congratulations. thank you for posting this. I travel for umrah next week with my wife and children insha'Allah. Allah swt bless you.
Just check
May Allah accept you umrah!
SubhanAllah that is the Most realistic video about umrah ..thank you for sharing ❤❤
Mashallaaaaa 😍😍
I wish u guys to visit Al Madina soon for ziyarat Rasool Allah Mohammed at Al Masjid Al Nabawi and all Imam’s of ahl Al bayt inshalla In baaqii and Iraq and Iran ya rab as it’s an extraordinary experience 🥹🙌🏻
Actually I have been waiting for Your video after subscribing today😍🙌🏻
What an incredible video I have been thinking about 3omra for a year now and your video is so informative and inspiered me to go sooner god bless you. Vidoe is so relatable we travel so much but forget to go to most important places.I will definetly be going by end of year god willing. it would be really nice if you made a video regarding your quran study and how we can start. I have been wanting to begin learning quran properly.
Your right
Thsi does inspire me to go inshallah
However I am scared a lot because I have anxiety and being with alot of people makes me feel uneasy
you are lucky to be there, I've been a Muslim since birth and now I'm 18, and I haven't felt it. Inshallah i will be there🤲
I went to umrah as well last month alhumdulillah x I wish I could have met you both there xx
That sounds like an amazing experience!
AWW this video was beautiful to watch. mashallah i want to go even more now
I love it!!!
Thank you so much for the information about umrah. I did not know that much about thank you so much
Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam, and Umrah is also a farida, so you must do it at least once, of course, if you are financially and physically capable (لمن استطاع اليه سبيلا). And do not wait until you’re old because you can’t be sure you will live longer or will be capable of it in the future.
May Allah accept your umrah❤️
Allahumdulillah i had the feeling today thank you so much for this video may allah make it ease for all of us to attend x
Alhamdulillah, congrats!!
Happy for you Dawood and Jasmine..may Allah bless and protect both of you accept both your "Umrah"!

14 Rounds 🤍😂🙃🙂
Maaaasha Allah May Almighty Allah Tabarkwatallah Accept Your And My Umrah
It’s The Best Experience 🤍
Ma Sha Allaah may Allaah swt accept your ibadas
thank you for sharing your experience! so useful and inspiring! God bless you two guys.
Thank you for sharing, I was entertained the whole video, may Allah accept from you guys and allow us to go Umrah
