I do not understand the people in the comment sections calling dawood a dayouth. He seems very humble and gentle. On the other hand jasmine too is one of the very few decent muslim youtubers left. She wears her hijab better now than when she started. She also seems connected to allah swt which is great. They seem like a very good couple with a very good understanding mashallah.

Dayooth is a significant term, but it is also accurate to say that he is not putting certain boundaries as a woman can never display herself in front of men for whatever purpose it may be, especially not in front of millions of people, so overall fact is that he does deserve to be criticized as well as her wife for putting all of these liberalistic agendas on to the mind of young influential men in such a wide spread media.

I really really appreciate the talk about hijab. Of how it’s very important as Muslims. How you’re doing it for the sake of Allah! And that’s something that would be upsetting (it should be its disobedience towards Allah). It’s very refreshing hearing that from a guy and woman, married couple, that you guys would strive to continue obedience towards Allah despite society norms or nafs. Thank you for being genuine and not sugar coating it! I get disappointed hearing couples being okay with sinning. We are all sinners but at the end of the day is how we help each other come back to Allah. Barak Allah feekum ❤️

Glad to see you again. Regarding the 'wearing panties' thing towards you Jasmine, I have the impression is due to the fact that people don't appreciate a woman being assertive. Whereas if it was a man who was more talkative, who leads and makes decisions, people think it's normal because we're in a patriarchal society. I see it a lot when a woman has 'character' or expresses herself assertively we feel obliged to point it out by saying "yes boss" or feeling surprised and I find that annoying because a woman has the right to be more responsible, more mature and knows what she wants without justifying or minimizing herself! ❤

I also thought I would always keep my hijab, but that wasn’t the case. I was attacked twice so I no longer felt safe to wear it and I had take it off for my own safety. I wear modest clothing at all times (even better than before) and I surely feel closer to Allah and feel a lot safer, so never say never…

Some people married and deliberately don't want/postpone children from whatever reasons they have and it should be okay. I haven't got any clue why many people in our community (Islam community) choose to deliberately offended of something that has nothing to do with them at all. Married and having children are not even obligatory as if they are in the 5 pillars. Some people turn eye blind of honor killing in the name of our religion but screaming when somebody postpone or not want wanting children. Gosh...

I love that u are so real with all that questions. and show the world how real you guys is behind and infront of camera. like many influencers they just filming for the view or show shows a facade but not the real side and every young couple think that they will be the same bc their live is so perfect they got house and money. So when u guys show how u started is feel like im living in real live to see u and fact that live is not perfectly for couples.

“I was inspired but also I was put in an environment which allowed me to easily want to put on the hijab” “a child won’t think of putting a hijab on if she’s not raised in an atmosphere which is encouraging to wear the hijab”. For some reason my maternal grandma was so against wearing hijab and now because of that my mom believes the same thing that hijab is “dumb” so I was never raised in a house that was super encouraging of wearing hijab or anything, even tho I have lots of extended family on my dad’s side that wear the hijab so my relationship with hijab is really weird and I can never fully get myself to want to wear it even tho in the back of my head I wanna wear it. Also in terms of clothing I was raised with the idea of “wear whatever you want as long as your legs, cleavage, and stomach are covered and the clothing isn’t tight or ‘weird’” so wearing hijab would mean having to change my clothing style as well which is hard for me to switch to. And also my parents in general aren’t super religious which wasn’t helpful at all growing up in America.

You look like two truly genuine people. Your rich and fulfilled life full of freedom does however consist of numerous very strict rules your religion demands(commands). I am just wondering, out of pure curiosity, how is it possibe that 2 people raised in Canada care so much for the religious rules? Isn't it the most important thing to be a good man/woman and how your acts reflect on people around you? And lastly, if you had a daughter, would you want the same "rules" for her?

    • @m4ry4m_c
      @m4ry4m_c 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Obviously I'm not them but I thought I'd give my opinion as someone who also lives in a non Muslim country. Id say I come from a religious background and a religious community in general and so I will say, that th greatest influence is simply your upbringing. There's a saying we Muslims have that "the first school is the lap of the mother." Like Jasmine said, she was inspired to wear hijab because of her mother but also because she was in an environment that made it easy for her to want to wear it. For example, I live in England and we are very fortunate with how freely we can practice our religion if I'm honest. We have plenty of islamic schools, mosques on every corner and very plenty of Muslim communities. Just little things like seeing the men flock to the mosque five times a day, or going to mosque Monday to Friday in the evening from 5-7 (which is typically what every child does here) and having a religious upbringing there makes a whole world of a difference. Same with going to islamic schools. So to summarise, I personally think the values of the country will have little influence if the upbringing is right. In fact, just recently we had a group from Saudi Arabia come visit our local mosque and he said something along the lines of how they wish their youth were as connected to religion and the mosque as they are here. He even went as far as to say there are couples in Saudi who wish to come here due to our Muslim communities.
About being a good person, of course that is also greatly emphasised in religion and is something that again, will be and should be taught when raising kids but for us, that can't be isolated from religion if that makes sense, they are part of each other.
      Hope that helps x

As an English revert (meaning an English person who chose Islam as their religion after being raised by non Muslim parents) I also second the above comment and want to add my thoughts also.
I chose Islam for the rules, I lived a life without really any rules apart from British laws and I found myself always depressed and always just focused on the materialistic things which brought me 0 happiness and much debt.
Of course I am a woman and enjoyed shopping and enjoyed buying things and trying to better myself - Islam even encourages to buy gifts 🎁 and study and be successful and in fact the first words revealed of our holy Quran was READ “iqra”.. Islam has the theme of study and acquiring knowledge through the teachings of Quran, Sunnah and the first noble Muslims… really I could keep typing because Islam and all of the rules and teachings truly has it all!
The non Muslim people think we are restricted but I can tell you as an English lady who has seen both sides the grass is most definitely greener on my side of following Islam!
Hope that cleared up some misconceptions about Islam and all of its “rules”..
I want to add one more thought .. the fact you are watching this video, asking why we have so many rules and have curiosity about Islam says to me that come this time next year you will most likely be a Muslim (speaking as someone with experience as I too had many questions and often was very antagonistic!)
Let’s see.. only Allah knows.. if I was right comment back below this in 1 year and let us all know!
And if not well I wish I you all the best dear fellow human, I pray you find this path and get to safety before it’s too late..
Take care and I leave you with the beautiful Islamic greeting of peace - Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh
May the peace, blessings and mercy of the almighty be upon you

@@allthingsmumlifeUK It is easy to practice these rules in a free country where EVERYONE'S rights are respected. But you can not expect it to be ok when these people are shovinists, misogynic, homophobic in our free and tolerant countries where they usually come to practice their religion and live a very free life. Lets not forget the rage that freedom of speech exacerbated (jokes on prophet Mohammed). Unfortunately for the muslims, islamic revolution is very real for most of their world. Let us all accept all of each others differences. If not, maybe there is a place that would be suitable for these persons to live. I certainly would not want to raise a daughter in such environment.

There is a GENOCIDE in Palestine! Wish you all would use your platforms to spread awareness and help the Palestinians. On the day of judgement, the thousands of children killed will ask us "What did you do? Why didn't you help us?" These children should be as precious to us as our own. Their suffering is our suffering. This is not the time to forget and go about our lives as if nothing is happening to our brothers and sisters. PLEASE do more to help the Palestinians. Thank you!
