great start! i kinda feel like the city name should somehow be related to the river name as it seems to be founded on its banks. Of course, we would have to find a name for that river first too. I would go with something like River´s Bent where you could substitute "River" with the rivers name. OR something with Rapids in the name because those small rivers it flows into could be rapids.
