    I visited and worked in Singapore three or four times a year from the late 90s through 2003. Interesting to hear your explanation or handling life there now. I miss your city, the food, the culture, and the people made it one or my favourite cities on earth.

      Thanks for sharing such life experiences as well Fred. Hopefully you can come back to visit Singapore! :)

    What an efficient, well thought out setup, as always! In about an hour we'll be leaving to help my daughter move back to her University. My Camel TN has always made this trip with me, so it is packed up and ready to go. Thanks for sharing this. I always get lots of good information from your videos (nice RFID hack!). 😀

      I really enjoyed the TN system, whether it's a regular or passport size!

    I have a few Passport TN's and did start to use one as a wallet, however for me it was just a case of having smaller pockets that stopped me from using it a lot more. I try to carry a sling bag but then don't😆so always end up back using a small wallet. But yeah, you have some good ideas for how you use yours. Those foil sheets are perfect 👍🏻

      Yes, sometimes the size of the pockets and inserts can dissuade people from using this smaller-sized TN, but if you can find a use for it, then...

    Great to see how you use your Passport TN, I use mine in a similar way. I have a Passport size with a Zipper Insert & Kraft Folder that I use for my wallet in the same way you do, a Monthly Calendar Insert, a Lined Insert for my Bullet Journal, a Lined Insert for Encouraging Spirituality Quotes I come across & a Blank Insert for Sketches/Doodles. It fits easily in my Man-Bag which goes absolutely everywhere with me. I tried a Standard size TN but it was a squeeze fitting it into my bag & with everything I use my Passport size for I really didn't have a use for it. I just find the Passport size more practical for my EDC. I actually cut the Standard cover up today & made a Leather Cover for my A6 Personal Journal with it.
    Greetings from Tasmania, Cheers, Tony

      Hey Tony! Thanks for sharing how you managed and set up your TN! It's heartening and encouraging in how we get to see so many variations of setups between people with different use and purpose for their TNs!
      Cheers too! God bless! :)

    I have a similar wallet set up, as it so neat and easy…but you can buy very reasonably the rfid blocking shields. I like them because each card has a pouch protecting it and it doesn’t matter if the card slips or I move it to a pocket it’s protected. It takes a second to take it out and use it, which isn’t that often these days.

    • @pen_journal
      @pen_journal  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for sharing Suzis! :)
      Will those RFID shield pouches be too "bulky" in nature, or quite slim?

    • @suzisandpiper
      @suzisandpiper ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@pen_journal there’s two types, one is a card backed by the shield which is slightly bulkier, but you can get them just with the rfid heavy foil made into a pouch which is very slim, adds next to nothing in bulk or weight. I use both types so it’s easy to distinguish different cards and I put washi tape on one of the two foil ones so I know which card is which. I also have one of these for my passport as they do that size too.

    You sound exactly like my friend, to the point I almost thought you were him for a second.
    I'd have to ask though. How'd you get your homemade booklets cut so cleanly? When I measure out my sheets of paper, they're always off by a few hundredths of an inch, and I have a small issue of my booklets ever so slighty poking out of my notebook compared to yours.
    Edit: I feel dumb.
    1.) You have links in the description.
    2.) I actually have a paper craft cutter I bought recently, and I put one of the notebooks I made with the paper cutter into my travelers passport notebook and I forgot that the other two notebooks I have in there are still the hand cut with scissors so they poke out a bit. The papercraft cut one are almost perfect in size.
