    What a comprehensive system! I like the way you've thoughtfully compiles your needs into such a sweet package. Maybe you could make another film of the same system when you come back, with notes and ephemera from your trip!

    I really enjoyed watching your video which is full of ingenious ideas !
    It took me years to find my way of organizing and journaling while traveling !
    I use the additional inserts such as pouches about the same way than you do.
    Otherwise, I use 3 inserts. The first one is dotted and is actually a "pre" travel (lists for packing, house, medical, insurance...), I use it again each time I travel.
    In the second one, I write down our itinerary with handy information (phone numbers, opening hours of a museum etc .
    In the third one, I take notes, thoughts, draw...
    When I come back home, I complète and decorate it with the items in the pouches, add some afterthoughts... and put everything back together except the first dotted refill, put some new inserts and off to go for the next trip !!!

    Absolutely love your tip on hanging a reminder on the wall in hotel rooms about stuff you've left around! Going to adopt that immediately as I travel a lot both for pleasure and for work and have left things behind...
    Loved your video and your Midori setup. Am about to go on a 5 week journey in Southern Africa and am putting together my midori passport. This has helped me lots and given me great ideas!
    Thank you.

    Seeing how well the passport size works I may have to make myself one to use in my bag. I have a couple of other sizes that I made for myself and they are a bit large - one is chunky and the other just larger. Thanks for the video and looking forward!

    Hi hi, found you via IG! I love the setup. I currently own a regular size TN and is thinking of using it for travel as well cos I find the passport size a bit small for me. But it sure is convenient bringing it around on the go.✈️🚆🚊🚲🚢

      @SeaweedKisses  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      carrot Hello! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! The passport size can be small at times, I admit. However, it can work for certain things as well. I still use the regular size when traveling, though, as I find it can definitely hold more within it.

    Have you ever heard of evernote? I just wish inserts came with detachable pages. Otherwise I use it to organize those odd ends that end up in my wallet.

    • @SeaweedKisses
      @SeaweedKisses  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Susazeu Yes, Evernote is quite popular and loved by a lot of people I know. However, for me, I guess you could say that I'm ancient in my ways of note taking notes and organizing bits and pieces within my life. ;)

    Do you find that the zip pouch is sufficient to keep many coins or do you keep the coins in a diff place?
    Thanks for sharing :)

    • @SeaweedKisses
      @SeaweedKisses  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      MyLifeMits Hi Mits! Yes, I just started the TH-cam thing. It's been on my to-do list for over a year now, and I finally have time to get it up and running. So happy to see you here, too!! Thank you so much for watching! I love all of your videos!
      The zip pouch is sufficient for the coins as I don't carry around that much to begin with. I mostly use my bank card, but if cash is necessary, I'll just store any remaining change until I get home and then through it in a glass jar. :)

    Love your videos! Just started getting my TN set up! How many elastic bands did you use to hold everything together? At one point, you said you used one, but I don't think for everything...if you did, that would be amazing!

    • @SeaweedKisses
      @SeaweedKisses  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Erica Cho Yes, I'm just using one connecting band to hold the two notebooks together, and the band that holds them in place within the notebook is the main elastic in the middle, if that makes sense. :)

    • @echonyc111
      @echonyc111 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Seaweed Kisses Thank you for responding! Now that I look at it again, I get it! I just realized you would slide the cardholder, zipper pouch and folder under the main elastic. And they wouldn't need an additional elastic. You were able to put a lot in your passport that didn't require more bands. What a great setup!

    What I find sad about people putting videos up about their notebook set up is no one uses them it’s just used to store receipts!! Why is no one writing in them!!!! What’s the point of having loads of inserts if it’s just blank!!! I know you guys want them to look pretty forever but there’s not even many pages in them!!!! Switch them out!!!! Just use the inserts otherwise ur just a crazy person with a notebook that doesn’t get used except to store receipts 🧾 but it is a nice set up I love you and I’m sorry

    • @silasatherton4551
      @silasatherton4551 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Just please for me!!! Use them there’s no need!!!! a bulky notebook looks great but you know when you carry that around it’s not getting used!!! It’s like a person carrying a skateboard around but not doing a kick flip or a simple pop shuv not even letting the skateboard touch the ground

    • @SeaweedKisses
      @SeaweedKisses  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Yes, I do use them. Of course they’re written in. Just don’t feel the need to share my private writing in the internet.😙
