The first crane i ran didn't have windows or doors, they had windows and doors but no glass . I wouldn't buy a crane without a cup holder . I thought it be warm running a steam crane ,WRONG I THOUGHT I WOULD FREEZE TO DEATH . Joe needless to say I have been crane work a long time. Back then the only computer I had was built in the seat of my pants 👖 🙃
I'm a crane operator in the Netherlands, and I always worked with Liebherr cranes. I always have been a huge fan of Liebherr. I think that they are the best!!! But what amazes me the most is: how complicated and technologic advanced Liebherr built their cranes, they are always easy to operate!!
@@robb5834 Hello Rob. If I understand it correctly, you want to lift the boat at a radius of 22m. You can hire a 110 tons crane, but then would it be realy close to the max capacity of the crane. To give yourself a little extra wiggle room, I would go for a 130 tons crane. You also can call a crane company and ask for some advice, and maybe they even send somebody to look at the situation. Because you also have to think about other stuff like; if the cran can get to the location, is the road strong enough for that kind of heavy traffic, is the location itself wide enough and is the ground strong enough to put a crane up there, ets, etc.
@@musictolive4 no I have boat at 9 tons and length 22 meters I need see what crane good to lift and hold at radius so I lift off low loader and jib over wall drop water so she good at holding 9 tons at radius

So how close can the the crane get to the boat, and at what kind of radius can the crane lower the boat in to the water. There are also loadcharts to find on the internet from different crane brands. So you can look at them to get yourself some idea of what kind of crane you need.
If you look at the biggest crane from Liebherr, then the crawlers weigh 170 (metric) ton each. They are so big, that they are split in half for transportation.
