It was unusual for Annie to play with Shabani.

Shabani always has time for Annie and Kiyo. He's such a great father. ❤
So True. Most other Silver back don't spend time with the older kids at all.
@@krudeddie He used to love it when Nene and Ai chased him after he angered them. Now he can get a free chase from his kids without having to make them frustrated to do it. Lol.

He must be a silly prankster and very cheeky.
Shabani is the silverback with the most character worldwide. He loves his kids and even entices them to play. Annie is definitely his favorite. Maybe because Ai did not bond with her and she had to be raised by humans. He would spend hours watching baby Annie behind the glass and then spent a lot of time showing her that he loved her. I'm sure His heart will break when they move her. And last but not least the pretend-washing-of-his-body, drumming to show off for the audience and other antics. If you know of a silverback that is "more" than Shabani, please let me know.
Shabani is tops for sure. But Oumbie at Twycross has the most expressive face I've seen. He as a lot of control over his facial muscles and can make the funniest faces.
I really like Momotaro but he can be mean! I think he needs a daughter in his life like Annie. He just has those badass boys and a pretty docile mate. I remember when Momo almost backhanded his little one and he looked exactly like my dad! Same facial expression and everything! My dad never actually hit me but he made the same motion. Also have you ever seen Zola at the Dallas Zoo breakdance in the pool? That is amazing!
I get the impression Shabani doesn't have a favorite. He treats both his kids kind of the same when it doesn't come to wrestling. I know that Silverbacks are known to raise one of their children if the mom passes away or leaves. And they will instinctually try to fill that void best they can. It's interesting how aware they are of social dynamics, and the consequences of not having a mother as a gorilla. He knows that he needed to step up.
And now Annie is just as playful as her brother. I wonder what her life would have been like if Shabani showed little interest in her beyond protecting her. If she grew up she may not have made a good mother without all that experience with her parents.
I think he loves both of his kids but he raised Annie so pretty much she’s very special to him
Zola is not as handsome as Shabani, but he can be quite hilarious.😊
Annie still his favorite , so easy to see , how he looks at her , protects her and play with her taking care not to hurt her.
Shabani plays with Annie so much more gently than he does with Kiyo. To him she is a dainty little flower who can do no wrong. 💞

I was very lucky to have a loving father growing up, because my mom was not so nice ..my dad loved us kids enough to equal 2 parents.
Annie is such a tomboy it's adorable and I love her pointy messy hair it is too cute!

Same you can't hear Annie but she is laughing like crazy. Poor(Maybe more poor us) Annie will have to move soon as she becomes a young lady they will have to move her to a new home. I hope she ends up at a great place. Annie and her story is what kicked in to gear my love for Gorillas I will follow her for ever. Here at i Bosch i is where first started following Annie and her family. I have never seen Annie play this much with Shabani he is so gentle with her. If it was her brother Shabani would be bite and be much harder on him.
Annie will be mated with Momotaro oldest son Gentaro….he was also raised by humans and then reintroduced back to mom. Annie and Gentaro will be great together they have the same sweet loving dispositions and love to play!
So touching to see how gently Shabani plays with his lovely daughter Annie.
I dont think any other father SIlverback is more advanced than big Shababo when it comes to caring for his children

Shabani plays the role of Father, Mother, and older Sibling to Annie. I just realized that. Because he has to, however it's obvious he enjoys every minute of it.

Annie is turning out to look like a female Shabani. There is something about the eyes that look like Ai and Nene's side, but you mostly see Shabani in facial features.

I think so too, but in reality she could also be paired with Momotaro even though he is much older than her.

@@GiselSimon I doubt they will do that Genki doesnt do well in that situation. Genki is way older than Momontero too. So Annie being younger wouldnt matter. But that would NOT be good fit MoMo and Annie

@@Oljas-Baygaliev Yes, around that range. It might take some time as the zoo would need to find a maturing or mature silverback in Japan to be her mate, after that she will move.
Actually, annie can stay with her family. in nature, something like that happens when female doesnt go to another male. But to have children, Shabani family needs some blabacks male subordinates, because gorillas do not practice incest. but obviously zoo is not going to do that
