    Love this Troop. I wish they would give them more toys then just a tire and maybe some boxs to rip and break apart. I kind of this this Zoo does not like to clean and gives them very little that they can have fun and make a mess with. I'm just going off all the TH-cam vids I see. I could be way wrong. They do have a new and very big area inside and out but thanks for that goes to Shabani for being the most amazing Silverback in any Zoo.

      I want them to actually give them beds. You put them in an environment that prevents them from making the cozy beds that are natural to them and then you give them a concrete floor. Even a dog gets a bed.

      They don't get this in the wild. Only humans would think they know what stimulation gorillas need to be happy. They're happy just being.

    When Shabani stood up and knock the window with the keeper, you see how big a gorilla really is. Even though humans are taller, gorillas mass and width are much larger than us.

      Yeah, even Neanderthals were much shorter than us but way more robust and strong, all adaptations for a cold European environment with big preys to take down at close range with just spears

      Me too! I find it hard to distinguish between the younger gorillas in this troop. Ai has a distinctive face and her body’s larger than Kiyo and Annie’s but if I can’t see Ai’s face, I can’t tell the three of them apart yet either. I don’t watch this troop a ton though. I love them, just not enough time to watch as much as I’d like 🦍♥️

      Kiyomasa and Annie are similar in size but Kiyo is a bit more muscular and has a bump or crest on the back of his head which is a signature silverback trait in males. He is also a little darker. Ai is hard for me to tell because I never see her face.

    I think Shabani wouldn't have killed the man if there wasn't a glass barrier there. I think he might just severely cripple himself to death. But it is not because he wants to kill: he may not calculate his strength. I think he would simply study the person in detail. This is an unknown creature, and gorillas are curious.
    But if he were to be seriously annoyed, I think he would kill without delay.

    Someone had commented this on another shabani video, and i think i agree with them.. shabani and the female a.i both look off,, im not sure what a gorilla mental handicap would be called in terms, but shabani and a.i do look a bit off.. someone pointed it out and i realize a bit what they were talking about. Just how they both look, how they look around and interact thw facial expressions, i get it. Not sure what it is called though...?

  • @choppervalenti6359
    @choppervalenti6359 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

    I Agree. Somethings not right here. They have so little to play with. But also they're too Thin! That silverbacks leg muscles look way thinner than I've seen on adult gorillas. They're going for last-resort veggies, like pulling the grass up by the roots and checking the sides of the building for fruit, or grass, any food actually.
    Come On! Feed them better, they're looking for food scraps so they're obviously hungry and they deserve better. Toys, better food and jeez, they don't sleep on concrete in the wild, give them better conditions; they're your bread and butter, so treat them well... Heck, treat them!

    Can we just quit with the close ups and lingering filming of the gorillas picking their noses, scrutinising their own
    and each other’s genitalia in minute detail, and general shoving of fingers into anus’s. I can live without seeing the silverback checking his wife for signs that she may be in heat as well. Obviously we know they do these things, but do we need to spend ages gawking at them doing so ? It’s enough to put me right off my breakfast.
