At first I didn't like all my new parts because they would bring up the service engine soon light. After a month of driving around with the light, I finally fixed the leak. It took getting an air compressor, plug, spray bottle, and some mechanical engineering to figure out the source of the leaks.
Turns out replacing the air intake/charge pipe is an easy task but require patience to really create air tight seals at all connection points. Any escaping air will result in pressure drops as the compressed air will vent to atmosphere and expand. As the air expands, we know that the pressure will drop and the TMAP sensor housed within the charge pipe will detect the drop in pressure and will put the car in limp mode in order to protect the engine due to the decrease in mass air flow.
Some background about me, I am a mechanical engineer who likes to solve problems. My JB4 and MHD both kept throwing codes 2D2E - angle throttle incorrect/air intake pressure low and 30FF turbocharger intake pressure low. I believe i have successfully solved the problem and will provide links to the products that have helped. If you have the same problem, feel free to buy from the links below as a I am an amazon affiliate. A win-win situation for me taking the time to create this video. Hopefully this video has proved helpful to you. Thank you for your time.
    Procedure
    1. Remove charge pipe from car if you haven't done so already.
    2. Plug end of charge pipe
    3. Insert compressor into other end of charge pipe. Use a towel to create a decent seal. It doesnt have to be air tight but tight enough so that you can spot air leaks in other parts of the charge pipe.
    4. Use compressor to blow air into charge pipe and spray outside of charge pipe with soapy water. It will bubble up where air leaks occur.
    5. Reapply air intake manifold gasket.
    6. Reseal TMAP pressure sensor gasket using high temperature silicone seal
    7. Remove meth bungs and reseal with pipe thread tape.
    8. Reapply hose clamps tightly around air intake elbow.
    9. Make sure hose clamps are tight around diverter valve caps and dual cone intakes.
    10. Enjoy new speed.

Question I am having trouble to reconnect my intercooler. I can't get it fully sitting in the on the charge pipe side. I just leave it 2/3 in, will that cause the 30FF code?

Don’t listen to this guy, vacuum leaks only effect idle if they are between the throttle and the head, and never put rtv on a sensor just buy the o ring

I had similar codes pop up and my car just died outside my house. I have 2D2E , 30FF , 3100, and 2ABC. I noticed a drop it power recently. My boost psi had dropped 2-3 psi. Not sure what could be causing the problem. Any ideas? I drive a 2009 335xi and it’s completely stock, no tunes yet.
