Burger Motorsports also makes an N54. BOV adapter fitting for the Tial BOV. It has a fitting for correct the 1/4” vacuum line or you can run their smaller diameter hard line to the BOV that comes in their upgraded kit.
I haven't had any issues with boosting or surging and I'm using the stock size vaccum connection on the manifold. I'm running an hks bov with vrsf chargepipe, mhd stage 1+ so I guess it just depends
I have a stock 535 n54 no plans to tune. I need to replace the charge pipe and bypass valves. Thinking of doing the BMS pipe and BOV. Will that work being stock or should I do the upgraded pipe and new stock bypass valves
Luke Gray Go with the Evolution Racewerks charge pipe which is specifically for the E60 535i. Any charge pipe that is for the 335i will press against the power steering reservoir and it’ll be a pain to get in and out. The quality and finish on the ER Cp is a lot better too. modbargains.com/evolution-racewerks-charge-pipe-for-2006-10-n54-bmw-535i-e60-bm-icp004/
Yes my friend did it. N54 335i uses MAP sensor so you won't run rich without a tune. On some cars like my old Supra with an MAF sensor, a BOV was bad cause you stall out running rich. Long story short, yes its safe!
i got turbosmart dual bov vta does this need the adaptor ..i was running the standard bovs but modded to vent to atmos seem to be having slower boost response since the turbosmart like need to give it 70% throttle now instead of 55% ...dont have flutter though i did notice at idle both are open very slightly

Wish someone would answer this...maybe he channel admin...but he doesnt respond to shit.
That fluttering sound sounds more like your spring it too stiff. And your idle negative pressure just can't fully open the valve. Isn't that the case?
But the stutututu sounds good 😩😩
I love the whistle sound tho 😩
Nice bro. I just bought the forge bov from ecs on black Friday get had it for $333. I am receiving it today.. I need this adapter now!

Octavio_P Same here I know many cars running that HKS setup with no issues
Octavio_P same here I have the same setup like you. No problem
People cheap out that's why and don't get proper parts. Hks is a well known brand.
He’s just trying too advertising his sponsor
Hi if I go Bov ,do I need to seal the vacuum line to the intake manifold?or it will leak some air from there?
Hello what the dimension of your front and rear wheel drive?

I haven’t noticed any issues .
I am stage cobb 2+my boost peaks at 20.5 is that the reason? I am running a BOV
I have a stock bmw e90 335i I’m tryna get a charge pipe with a bov can Install it without a tune? Or anything

What about installation on a N55 3.0L
Cant wait to get mine!

Does it work the same on a x6 bmw?
This video is so pointless
💪🏻🙌🏻💯
We can all still notice that you still haven’t put any wind in your tyres yet! Haha. Good info as always.
Wind? Lmao you mean air?
It’s a sarcastic British way of saying of saying that your tyres are low on air. 👍🏻😁
@@joepowell6559 Oh alright lol
Is if safe with stock diverter valves and mhd stage1+ with inlets
How much do you think you've spent on proformance mods in your 5 years of ownership ?
Yooo bro do you think 335i bovs fit my e60 535i ?
Weren’t you supposed to announce the winner in this video?
Will a 335i bov fit my e60 535i?
Just buy one for the 535 mate
Turbosmart BOV.
Absolutely nothing wrong with off throttle compressor surge. Its when it occurs on open throttle you've got problems.
Bro thinks i dont want the stu stu stu
That’s a no for me dog that company sucks can’t get a hold of them 👎🏼
Pfffff, are you a certified mechanic or engineer? do you have any evidence/proof that backs up your theory? Random users on the internet is not proof.
