Awesome video thank you. I just ordered one for my Dad today and am getting it delivered in 2 days. You helped me learn about the machine which is always great to know before getting it! thanks again!
Thanks. I was literally cutting my grass with my X590 when you made this comment lol. One thing to watch for if you get a new one is the transaxle fluid. Mine has about seven hours on it now and when I looked at it, it appeared to be empty. Apparently that’s not unusual for the fluid to fill voids, etc., as it gets its first few hours of use. I would recommend looking at it hourly for the first 10 hours to make sure it doesn’t drop.
Thank you for the feedback! I’m just getting this channel started and these comments can help steer me in the right direction. Enjoy your X590. I’m a big fan of the entire X500 line and think you’ll be pleased with yours. 👍
Thanks for posting I’m picking up a 590 tomorrow. I’m surprised a Kawasaki motor let go on you I’ve had a x304 for 18 years and it runs great to this day
I’m actually a big fan of the Kawasaki motors. I bought an X530 new in 2014 and mistakenly thought I didn’t need it. I sold it a few years ago and almost instantly regretted it. The 2012 that died on me was purchased used. I do not believe the previous owner took good care of it at all. I don’t think it was the motors fault. I put a few more hours on the X590 this weekend. I am very pleased.
@@HobbyUniverseOutdoors yeah I’m going to get new just because of 18 years on the x304 it’s a matter of time now but who knows it might run another 7 years way it’s going now been a great little mower it’s more than down it’s job
I’m definitely a big fan of the power steering. I mowed a lawn for someone else over the summer as a favor using their tractor that did not have power steering. Made me realize how much I really liked it.
I can’t remember. 😎 It’s in storage but I will be picking it up late this week. I’m going to pull the motor to dissect to see if it’s worth rebuilding. I’m planning to make a video of that. I’ll reply again here when I confirm the hours but I know it wasn’t a lot. I think the previous owner didn’t take care of it.
I’ve had a few over the years and this is the first time I’ve had a problem. I believe the previous owner didn’t take good care of the unit based on some other things I noticed.

Thanks for the comment, I always appreciate the feedback! Your dad will absolutely love it. I am very pleased with mine. 🙂
Currently shopping for an X580/590 to replace my 12 yr old husqvarna. Good video!

I'll keep you posted if/when I pick one up. Thanks
Great Video, again straight to the point. You provided very good information with out all the "Fluff" that isn't needed. again Thanks !

I bought a X590 in April 2024 and it's a great mower. I replaced a 16 yr old X500. Power steering on the 590 is great.

It seems like the green paint on the deck is harder ...tougher. the grass stains do not show and clean up easier
It’s funny, but I noticed that too. Wasn’t sure if it was just me. I guess time will tell if it holds up better than the yellow did.
How many hours were on the x530?

Mine does that too! It’s slower in reverse
Glad mine isn’t the only one! Thanks for taking the time to comment. 🙂
My bet is your PTO clutch has failed, and there's nothing wrong with the engine.
I hope you’re right! I would much rather deal with that. I will make another video once I start digging into it so watch for that.
Wouldn't piss on a kawasaki engine but would use as a boat anchor next door property bought one and boy what an unreliable crud
