I got a great buy at a rummage sale. 3 dozen canning jars for $5! I asked the lady how much and she said to make an offer. I knew $5 was too low but thought why not and she took it! I also got 2 bedside lamps that matched for $1 each. I bought a can of french vanilla colors spray paint and gave them a new life. They will go into the she shed. We were in the city for hubby's foot appt (he is now all cleared!!!) and I saw a cardboard box on a corner with a free sign so I pulled over. I got a book and a pretty nice size picture in a wood frame. I will also be painting the frame! And I got a decor woodened chalkboard with a ledge for nicnacs and hooks to hang things. This too shall be painted. My last find was a vintage ceiling light. It is the one that hangs from ceiling with a chain and each chain has a globe that is crystal like glass. I was thrilled! I had been looking for a light fixture for the she shed and we were at the restore. It almost brought happy tears to my eyes as it was almost exactly like my light hubby installed in my girlie room back in Washington. I loved that light (also purchased at a restore) I had to leave so many things behind and this makes the she shed feel so much more like home! Today I do not work so I will be helping him. The windows are going in today and we will start putting up some of the wood walls. We were given permission to take pallets apart to use the wood it was a long process but free is always good! While we were there they showed us a pile of 2x4, 2x6, and 2x8's that we could just have. They were all about 3 to 4 feet long. We used some to build the stairs in the she shed!

Great video, Ladies! I recently learned that those Frappuccino bottles can be vacuum sealed as well as spaghetti jars, etc. Amazon sells a 3 piece canister set that vacuum seals. It comes with a tube that plugs in the top of the canister and the other end goes in your vacuum sealer port. You take a jar like the Frappuccino and put it inside the canister with the lid on. You suck the air out and it will seal the jar inside. I haven’t tried it yet because I just got it but I watched a video and saw it work! I will let you know if it’s worth it after I try it out!

I've pulled some great glass jars out of it to clean and reuse as well as saving all the glass jars I get with food in them. A friend also saves glass jars for me. I reuse plastic food grade containers for shorter term items like sugar and flour - coffee containers are great for sticking your measuring cups in and getting what you need without making a mess.

This is the coffee creamer I use Making your own powdered coffee creamer at home is relatively simple and allows you to customize the flavor and ingredients. Here's a basic recipe to get you started: ### Basic Homemade Powdered Coffee Creamer **Ingredients:** - 1 cup of dry milk powder - 1/4 cup of powdered sugar (optional for sweetness) - 1 tsp of vanilla powder or other flavoring (optional) **Instructions:** 1. **Mix Dry Ingredients:** In a bowl, combine the dry milk powder and powdered sugar. If you're adding flavoring, mix in the vanilla powder or your preferred flavoring at this stage. 2. **Blend (Optional):** To ensure a smooth consistency, you can blend the mixture in a food processor for about 30 seconds. This step helps evenly distribute the flavors and makes the creamer dissolve more easily in your coffee. 3. **Store:** Transfer the mixture to an airtight container and store it in a cool, dry place. Your homemade powdered creamer should last for several months if kept sealed. - **Flavored Creamers:** You can experiment with adding cocoa powder for a mocha flavor, cinnamon for a spiced creamer, or a bit of coconut milk powder for a coconut-flavored creamer. - **Non-Dairy Version:** If you prefer a non-dairy option, use coconut milk powder or almond milk powder instead of dry milk powder.
