Thank you for taking the time to do a lecture on this topic. Most doctors cut corners when it comes to the welfare of the patient. Does the doctors make sure the port is working PROPERLY BEFORE they discharge the patient ? Procedures are a huge problem these days because they are not performed properly and the patient ends up in the emergency room only to be told nonsense like "follow up with your doctor"

Great video. However, you neglected to discuss drain pain which is very real and very painful. I am a PD patient who has yet to be able to sleep through each cycle of nightly dialysis. Hence, I sleep 2 hours at a time, every night. This has gone on since July of this year with no end in sight as the drain pain persists. Consequently, I stay sleep deprived.

It does hurt, as I also get TIP pain. The nurse redone my program on the dialysis machine to leave a small amount on drainage. The pain has eased so much. They called it a tidal program.

This is the system my wife uses thank you has been very insightful for me. Coming across one of your videos really helped me this morning change my perspective on our situation which was not helping. I think things will be better. I thank the Lord Jesus Christ for you passing my way, whom I sense you know by the fruit I see you bare. Grace be with you and yours, blessings I pray upon your service to him and his Kingdom. See you at his wedding banquet.

Thank Dr Frita🌹you a amazing … was worried to start especially that I am prediabetic, however I do not have fluid overload so its good to know that I would use a lower concentration of dextrose

I'm in stage 3 Kidney Desease. I've been doing good with 25,000 MG of Crandberry capsules twice a day. Lots of water with lemon. I've tried everything but still having trouble getting Ecolie in the Urinary track. I can go for a couple of years without. My issue is I'm chemicaly sensitive and have multiple drug allergy. I was diagnosed in 2014.

Sounds like you have a fistula because otherwise you would not have E coli in the bladder

Hi doc, thank God that I came across your vlog. Thank you for your videos. I was wondering, instead of 3 days of dialysis, can it be only 2 days of a dialysis. How to know if the dialysis patient kidneys is working. Do they have to do the test to see if the kidneys are working if they are getting dialysis.
