    Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

    I personally would consider having failed if I impregnate a woman and not marry her. Automatically the chances of her finding a man get reduced. The kids will never form a bond which is created if they all lived under one roof. But to each his own

      Condoms, Plan B, and other forms of contraception. Pregnancy is a choice nowadays with each respective contraceptive providing a higher chance of pregnancy prevention in relation to the other. Women are the gatekeepers, men knock, hence why the phrase is referred to as being "knocked up". Our actions and responses to situations do the heavy lifting. Let's not play with our free will

      Absolutely true. Someone convinced men that they can be good fathers even though they don't live under the same roof as their child. I've seen how lenient men become when they turn into weekend fathers. You will never be the father you want to be if you don't build a family with the woman

    That running charity over business hits home hard and is the reason my business is on red alert. My accountant gave me a stern scolding that business is business and not charity. Employees are hard to deal with especially if you don’t have an iron hand. Business in general. White people seem to be very good with understanding this. I thought that the nicer and more generous I was, people would reciprocate but what happens is that people, particularly blacks, see an opportunity to loot you. I learned to not give a damn about another man’s situation through business. Paid my school fees, I understand where Pen is coming from.

    I strongly disagree regarding marriage. It's not solely about couples; thinking so is selfish. Marriage involves couples and serves the well-being of children or future offspring. It holds great importance, and I recommend young individuals to consider marriage. Rejecting marriage can lead to risky consequences, such as scattered parenthood resembling an unstable lifestyle, harmful for children's health. While ideal, having both parents isn't always feasible due to various factors. Nonetheless, raising kids with both a mother and a father is crucial for their safety. The contrary can jeopardize children, especially their well-being. I would rate pen as 0 out of 10 when it comes to the issue of Marriage.

    Some of the views on business etc were good but I must say he completely lost me when he tried to justify the dynamic of 6 kids between 4 mothers as a ‘hack’. Extremely disappointing for a 21st century man to not understand that no matter how much money or resources you have, it is not a conducive way to raise children that you expect will have a good relationship with eachother… as far as him stating weekly zoom calls for the kids to build a relationship?!!! Really? Disappointing and a poor example for children. Especially as someone who claims to believe in the ‘nuclear’ family. May God help our community

    • @jobesithole5590
      @jobesithole5590 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Its too much Lulu. I still advocate that a nuclear family can only exist within the confines of marriage. Is it easy ? I don't think so. It needs both parties who enter that institution to be sober minded and hold hands at all times. Obviously folks like Penuel and those who share his views believe in cohabitation. I'm deeply opposes to that arrangement. Oh well, each to his own.

    Money is measured in TIME, not Rands. If you have R20 000 a bank and your expenses are R5000 a month, you are 4 MONTHS away from being broke.
    What you make is important, but how much you keep from what you make and how hard that works for you is the most important ..... key 🗝
    Is money 💰 king? For those who believe in the Bible, let's go back in time and do some consultation with the elders, Ecclatiates 10:19.

    Thank you for raising the topic of cohabitation and its impact on society, Penuel. While some may see cohabitation as a progressive trend, research has shown that it can have negative consequences for individuals and communities.
    Cohabiting relationships tend to be less stable and less healthy than marriages. And, by promoting cohabitation as an alternative to marriage, societies risk undermining the institution of marriage and its role in fostering stable families and communities.
    Marriage provides a framework for building stable, committed relationships that are based on shared values, mutual support, and a sense of responsibility to one another and to the community. This helps to strengthen the social fabric of a community by providing a stable foundation for raising children, supporting one another during difficult times, and contributing to the common good.
    In contrast, cohabiting couples may be more likely to view relationships as temporary, and may not feel the same level of commitment or obligation. This can lead to less investment in the relationship and a greater likelihood of conflict and instability.
    Overall, promoting marriage as a social norm and supporting couples in building strong, committed relationships can help to strengthen families, communities, and society as a whole. Thank you for allowing me to share my perspective on this important topic.

      The institution of marriage is already undermined by the way we behave before marriage creating habits that are not conducive to foster stable families and communities. The rate of divorce is high and a marriage is used to ruin peoples lives than build this days. You can't even give direction without being accuse of being "controlling". The behavior is shocking this days, people go to groove until 2am in a marriage. Its just bunch of countless nonsense. Kudos to those who still carry the values and principles that gives marriages value.

    Firstly I would like to be clear that I enjoy Penuel's podcasts and actually one of my most watched local podcasts. I like the way he explores issues and his desire to empower others through educating and knowledge. However in this podcast, the conversation was going well until Penuel displayed immaturity and lack of depth when the interviewer was trying to reiterate the importance of having VALUES a fundamental aspect of societal progression that is required to move society from a chaotic lawless state to an inhabitable and peaceful place to live in. Penuel defiled the basic aspects of lawfulness. Picking up money or goods from a bombed or overturned truck is looting and by its nature is a lawless act, a crime and breaking the law. I lost respect for you brother.

    On the point of taking the dirty money.....I'm just reminded of a movie I just watched recently....GOOD THIEF......I agree with Brother Penuel......in the movie the two cops decided to take the dirty money because if they don't take the money ONLY the lawyers would get rich!😂

    What we learn in business as a first generation, is mostly school fees. We enter business then try to be nice, care about people and not care too much about money. As a result, most people who start or try entreprenuership fail. Then they go preaching against starting any business as 'they don't work' and that they are scams. Those that succeed in the first generation, change and people shwred and rule with an iron fist.

    • @benmalapile
      @benmalapile ปีที่แล้ว +1

      These first generation business people normally make millions and then teach their kids the painful lessons learnt who then become billionaires and much greater. People like Donald Trump are great examples of this. Hence it cuts deep when Penuel says that he wasn't raised by business people and that it was much harder for him to start & grow a business. Too many of us struggle with that too

    Honestly in my point of view as a fan , the way you started the conversation was very interesting, attractive and enthusiastic. I believe the points and views regarding entrepreneurship, being a millionaire and how business works that Mr Penuel brought and axplained are very interesting and informative. After you changed the topic and started talking about content creation stuff for me you ruined and diminished my eagerness and enthusiasm to listen further cause i personally wanted to hear more about the topic you started. The tittle on it's own is very attractive and interesting, you should have focused on the content/aim of the interview or rather the conversation of the day.I am disappointed and i feel betrayed cause I love your content.

    Mental health...a global problem before global problems ( climate change, AI) threatening the balance in our humanity/societies....Our bodies/inner being detect these defects before us and try to send signals (through depression, anxiety, and so on). All we need to do is listen and try to change. Self awareness is the best remedy for whatever problems we are encountering and the ones we will encounter....truly speaking, I feel like nature is punishing us for drawing ourselves away from it. Meaning change in our lifestyles and the norms of life have huge consequences in our logic of thinking, tolerance to challenges, mental strength, energy, environmental awareness......
