Sometimes it requires more of a conversation than an interview coz when someone share his story goes along. Hit things at a high note that’s wher the interviewer need to interjecting n ask for clarification for us viewers to understand.

Such a great episode! I wish they would have spent more time talking about her childhood in which she said she watched her mother work very hard to make sales and then would take her to buy whatever she wanted. That is very important. She was chasing a good feeling she felt as a child by shopping. That is key to help her understand why she had a shopping addiction.

I'm have been very money woke from an early age. Thank God for knowledge and wisdom.
Never had personal loans and credit card in my working life. Learned that cash is king all the time. Doing project and financial planning it highly important. People know what they want but not willing to do the hard work. Eg if you want to build a house of refurbish you first do quotes of staff and savings most be aligned properly. Know what cost you need and all. But we want instant everything. A person takes out a loan to build the house to roof level. Wait 6yr to repay then loan, then take out another loan for the roof and finishes... We need financial literacy. Education and education

I have this habit of not paying off my credit card, or using funds from my credit card for situations that are not urgent. Even if I pay it off I end up using it again. I think I like the security of having cash flow so much, that I end up using my credit card instead of my current cheque account. There is a deep seated psychological issue here and I’m seeing it now😢

A lot of our people don't have financial literacy. I don't know why we are automatically expected to just "get it" when it hasn't been instilled from childhood. I support the view that school curriculum needs to include financial literacy, teach children the basics and let them grow with practical skills in managing money.
