I thank God for my father who told my brothers never to go around spreading their genes all over place and not looking after their kids. My father set the excellent example by looking after his family. I can't stand men who do that, because the children bear the brunt of this problem. In my tsonga/shangaan family, my paternal grandfather gave my aunts to my uncles and father as adoptive fathers when he wouldn't be around anymore. I fully agree with Penuel when it comes to co-parenting. Both parents have equal rights & equal responsibility. It's unfair to want the man to take responsibility, but dictate which rights they get.
