I walked from waves years ago when they started with the versioning buffoonery and asking me to pay a subscription fee or a renewal for products I already bought. never looked back. Fabfilter, Valhalla, etc. only from now on.
normally fet compressors are being used to grab peaks. and they do not color the sound. and opticals color the sound. i think this video is misleading.
First... a big thumbs up for making a video about tcompression!! More people need to see these tutorials... Second... I request the highest of fives, Barney Stinson-style, for the choice of songs "covered". Third... If you need some REAL bass, I'll be right here ;-p Fourth... Shut up and take my money Neural DSP... Best plug-ins of it's kind, hands down...
Match the volumes pls, unfair comparison if not matched.
i realize I am quite randomly asking but does anybody know of a good place to stream new tv shows online ?
@Diego Bentlee i use Flixzone. Just google for it :)

Same. I’m pretty big on Plugin Alliance.
Great stuff as always, nice to have all the examples on compressors I own too lmao

Nice Beetlejuice cover
This is what tutorials should look like.

it depends on how hard you drive the input gain on the FET compressors.
where are these plugin?? thanks
how do you know what kind of compressor it is, some like the CLA-2A didn't say it was optical?
I actually use all of theme 😎. Only the best for working. 💪 Love Neural, love Waves 🤟
Who you gonna call?
Thank you
My mind was blown-up by this video.
Can you tell me if the Nolly compressor is based on an analog pedal and if so which one?
Wow that fairchild is definetly a tool to have in your arsenal. Other than that, great video!
Thank you. Great enjoyable and interesting video. In the end it's all about the little big subtleties :)
Keep it up. Cheers.
Thanks! I agree! It's absolutely about subtlety. 😁

Yes and I recognize this especially using plugins. Using many in a mix, less of all of them is more.
Awesome videos...!! It would be great to see a video of eq and compression a Digital guitar signal chain

excellent tutorial, love seeing a video with proper gain matching after the compression. Really forces us to use our ears to hear what is happening
