  • 2013 Lexus ES 350 Review. In this review of the 2013 Lexus ES350, we see what makes this Lexus the best-used luxury car in the class. I have tried the previous-generation Lexus ES 350 and for 2013, this ES 350 got redesigned so it is a perfect opportunity to see what changed and why these changes make the 2013 ES so good in the used car market.

      PA here and Carvana delivered my 2013 ES two weeks ago and everything you said is spot on. The cars runs buttery smooth, bumps are truly absorbed and the take off for passing vehicles on the highway is incredible. Mine is silver gray, had one owner with only 42k miles and it also has the mouse for navigation. Will easlily get ten years out of it. It's truly a beautiful car. Great vid.....stay safe.

    I just bought a 2015 ES 350, same color combo with the navigation 113,000 mi. I have owned a 2003 LS 430, 2007 LS 460 and 2016 GS 350 F Sport. I have also owned a 2006 Inifiti M35X, and a 2001 Acura TL. All were great cars. Nothing compares to this ES in BANG FOR THE BUCK! The ride is smooth as butter, quite and the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in , and the back seat has great leg room . Everything is within an arms reach and the interior was well thought out, no rattles, squeaks, or creaks. Class all the way. I love it every time I drive it. People can't believe it's almost 10 years old. The ES was meant to be a soft, cushy, cruiser, and comes with an engine that provides plently of power. I am getting 26-27 mpg avg so far, which is amazing, and runs on regular unleaded. I recommend this sedan over most other luxury models/brands for the money. If you don't have the need for AWD, go check this car out!

    I purchased my 2015 Lexus ES350 Ultra Luxury back in Jan 2015 with only 3 miles on it. Had it custom ordered with every toy on it for that year. Flash forward to present day with 112200 miles, still love driving the car. Never had one bad experience with it. Maintained at its scheduled intervals, always babied & pampered. It rides excellent with minor vibration due to the rubber dampners and such but Texas heat will dry them out but all in all. Still rides and drives great.

    I haven’t driven as ES since the 1992 ES300 that we had several years ago. They are great cars. Please keep the Lexus content coming. I really enjoyed this review and my questions were answered about this generation of ES.

      I’m super humbled that you mentioned that, my whole goal with these car reviews is to have people’s doubts answered when it comes to the particular cars I review. I want people to walk away knowing to the best of their abilities what these cars are like.

      Yes, I've been driving 2010 ES350 and 2009 Avalon both right at 100k miles, the Avalon handled much better. The 2014 ES350 was my favorite, but the seat killed my back after a week. Ended up having to sell it about 30 days later - very disappointing. No one could change out the seat for me and still have my airbags work.

    Recently purchased this model Lexus with 87K and got a break on the 4 year B to B warranty. Not spectacular gas mileage so I tend to keep the dial on "ECO" for maximum benefit. Overall seems to be a sound vehicle that was definitely helped by the previous owner's vigilance in adhering to the scheduled maintenance intervals. Question ? - Does the 2013 require 93 octane fuel ? BTW - whatever happened to your '08 LS wrap/paint correction project content ? Was really looking forward to the "big reveal" video. What did you think of the ES compared to the GS as far as ride & quietness?
    P.S. I am contemplating picking up a Lincoln MKZ Black label over the ES or GS. It just seems like a more special car overall. Look up the black label model MKZ & see what you think of it. Should I get the hybrid 4CYL with CVT or V6 twin turbo AWD? I'd only save $250 a year on fuel & probably go broke with either the battery failing or losing a turbo lol

    • @MeynMotorGroup
      @MeynMotorGroup  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think the GS was a bit quieter but both rode about the same. Lincoln’s are cool just get a warranty or buy it CPO if that’s what you like. It certainly is different. Twin Turbo all day long tho heard the hybrids weren’t very smooth.

      @MeynMotorGroup  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The Avalon feels cramped inside and we would hit our knees soon the side of the dash getting in the driver side, but in the end, they both have that terrible unergonomic seat contoured forward at the top. If you compare the previous generation before 2013, the Avalon handles and rides better than the ES.

    AS you know i have this ES350 now with only 36kmiles. Starfire Pearl (white) exterior with black interior . Looks like this one you tested didn’t have the Luxury package, it was missing the rear window shade and cooled front seats. Mine doesn’t have the ML sound system which is fine, the BOSE system is great.. Also mine has the “mouse” style control for the interface. This was missing that.. It’s an OK system, but obviously you cant mess with it while driving. the only other negative is that the rear seats don’t fold down (similar to the LS). But Love the huge trunk. Think its 15 cu. ft.
    I bought mine last April with only 30,009 miles on it , came with Hancock tires.. Certainly not my choice, there aren’t that quiet and are not good in the snow... Ive rotated them once last summer and probably have about 10k remaining on the front set... Then ill go for Michelins or maybe Continentals. I have the same size 17 in. wheels and tires.. AT 17 inches they definitely give a better ride compared to 18 to 20 in. Rims you find on other luxury cars...
    I think Lexus “underrated” the horsepower on this V6, it feels more powerful... I think the next gen has 302 hp... i haven’t driven the newer one to compare... Did you find it the same power ?
    Really enjoyed this review.

Just bought a 2014 with 50k on it. Test drove a 2019 4 cylinder Camry(whole generation newer) with 15,000 miles on it, same $19000 price tag. Just bough a 2014 ES with 89K mi over the 2013 ES for specifically the Siri eyes free option that Lexus started implementing in 2014 in all vehicles
    While still a little primitive, it allows for a true hands free experience. Bought it for my wife, in an attempt to keep her phone down as much as possible while on the car.
    The memory seats can be programmed to each individual key fob, therefore automatically adjusting to each driver position as you open the door. This was a big plus as I tend steal her car on the weekends.
    Hope to keep this on the road for 7-8 years and then pick up a 2020 ES for a fraction of the $50K price.

      Exhaust Sports Auto I will! I’ve fallen in love with the Genesis just by watching reviews on TH-cam or seeing them on the road. They’re so attractive. I wanna get the ultimate package with the HUD too. I’ve seen them with 50-70k miles going for just over $20k. It’s my goal this year! And I’ve heard the V8 is really reliable too and decent gas mileage. Can’t be much worse than I currently average. I only get a combined 19mpgs.

      Exhaust Sports Auto the only other car that I’d maybe consider over the G80 is the Kia stinger. Although I don’t know how reliable they’d be....

    I wish I had known about these when I was buying a car a couple of years ago. I looked at some older cars but didn’t consider a Lexus. I ended up buying something new and economical that I’m happy with (Mazda CX30) but this would have been nice too. I want a Lexus next. :)

    ES350 or GS350? 2013 versions of Both, roughly the same mileage here in Australia. And both cost roughly the same 🤷🏾‍♂️

      That’s so funny Himesh you say that because I’m also from Australia and even though the GS was anywhere from 10-30k more brand new, used they are the same price. If you’re interested at all, I’ve done a review on the 2015 ES and GS :)

    Thinking about getting one, but cant find one with under 100K miles. Is it worth it to get one with that many miles?
