You can remove the windshield without taking the bottom screws all the way out. Just loosen them and with the top ones removed first, the screen can be slipped down and out with the well nuts still attached. Their mounting hole is slotted as you can see on the unused middle mounting hole. Never worry about losing the well nuts behind the fairing again. Nice video by the way. I'll be ordering one after the Christmas bills are paid.
Great video. Used it to install my screen yesterday and made the job so much easier, especially trying to work out where the plastic and rubber washers went. Much appreciated.
Your welcome, That’s Great ! I did drop one of them on the inside once and had to take it all apart to get it out. Most people just buy some extras Incase that happens.
IM really excited about getting one of these, I have contacted him already, going to order one first of next year, pretty awesome deal. Love it. Thanks for sharing and Ihope you have a blessed week buddy.
Thanks for the video - I used it today to install my Batzen screen raiser and it worked a treat. 👍 Really enjoying the videos you do - keep ‘em coming! 👌👍
Hi Woodzman, thnaks for this vid - Now you've had this Batzen for a month are you still impressed with it? I get buffering at 60mph+ and its driving me crazy! Cheers.
+Clarence Duff I really like them. I have the screen raised so it's about 2 inches higher than stock. If I raise it higher it lets cold air under the bottom witch I think will be great when it's hot, just not in the winter.
I added a Rugged Roads Adjustable Windscreen Spoiler to my AT to reduce the head buffering. It only works up to about 60 mph. Woodsman, how do the risers work against the buffering at 80mph and above?
Have you tried it around 80mph? Interstate 35 is 70 mph up here, and no one goes that "slow". Buffering is pretty bad at that speed. I need a good solution.
+Scott Chinnock Well I just tried 80mph on my way home from work for about 2 miles with the wind screen set low and it was pretty bad. Then I raised to 3" and did the same speed and it was unreal how much better it was.
Do you know if the Batzen brackets would fit on the Honda Tall Windscreen? I am 6'5", so the taller the better for me. From what it sounds like though, adjusting the stock windscreen to the tallest setting would be plenty enough for what I need.
+jason backes oh not the screws, you mean the nuts in the rubber grommet . It's hard to do, most people order new ones but I took my fairing apart and got them out

+Ma Ha Hey that is a good tip ! I notice the holes the way they are made but I forgot to mention that. And I forgot to try it also.
Thanks !
Hi Ma Ha, I followed your instructions. What a life saver. Thank you!

I dropped one inside when I first removed the screen to fix my sat nav mount in place, bought some new ones and superglued them in place.
Update! A week later after order,, received Batzen Riser and installed it in about 15 minutes afterRe-reviewing Woodzman's video. Thanks again!
+xrl250 Your welcome !

I have my eye on a Africa Twin to keep my Harley Company, this is a great idea for the Screen 👍, Great channel Sir
+BeaglePower G Thanks ! I like the screen risers, works great
I didn’t watched out and the grommet ended up inside the cowl, so what is the spare code so as to buy new?
That is super easy to do, I can tell you it is easier to order a new one than to get the other one out. I would buy a couple extras
@@WoodzmanThanks, I though that so. Is it the product code the 90111-KW3-003?
@loupasmi It’s been a while so I don’t remember
Well done!Just ordered one from Wolfgang
+xrl250 Awesome ! You will like it, I have had mine quite a while and it's still great !
Can this bracket be used on a 2021 Africa Twin Std, with the OEM tiny windshield?
That I don’t know, you would need to contact him
i just dropped one of the bottom screw base inside.... what to do? any advice please?
I did that also, so if you don’t want to take it all apart witch is a pain you can do what I did and order extra screws
@@Woodzman well i droped the base on which the bolt is screwd. you think i should look for a spare part or try to recover it?
@@Woodzman thanks for the answer btw !
You can try to recover it, that is the part that I dropped also, it falls down inside. I ordered a few new ones
Great video greatings from Iceland
+Björgvin Björgvinsson Thanks ! And Howdy from the backwoodz of Missouri !
Thank you just followed your instructions
No problem ! Thanks for watchin
Nice my friend very cool
+Shiny Knife I like it so far. I rode to work and it helps a bunch
does the batzen work with after market wind screen? say maybe the touratech ones.
I would think so, as long as it bolts to the factory mounts
What about all the wind that will go around and through it now?
+Ed Walker It does some so I don't raise it much when it's cold. It will be nice I. The summer.
Great video and nice new logo
+SGFAdventures Thanks SGF !

+lemayelaine Your so welcome ! Yea I was the same way, heck I'm still grinning lol. I'm glad you got one. They are awesome
Hi Woodzman, thnaks for this vid - Now you've had this Batzen for a month are you still impressed with it? I get buffering at 60mph+ and its driving me crazy! Cheers.
+Motoeuro Yes I like it. I have it set about 1" up witch is like 2" taller than stock.
Great, thanks Woodzman! I will buy one !
+Motoeuro Your welcome !
I am curious as to how well (or not) the screen risers have been working since original install about a month ago.

+Clarence Duff no problem my friend !
Are you still using this bracket or have you found an alternative solution?
Well I sold the Africa Twin and went back to a CRF250L
@@Woodzman well that is a great bike.
Yea I liked the AT, it’s awesome but I just enjoy the 250L so much more for the type riding I do
What type of tail bag do you have on the back of your bike?
Its a Nelson Rigg CL 1040 th-cam.com/video/7PgI9jt1qUw/w-d-xo.html

+Scott Chinnock I like it, It may not be the best but it is a Huge improvement over the stock height.

+Scott Chinnock lol no problem
I was sold until I saw the price. .....great concept and I like it, but for the price, I'll go for the aftermarket windscreen. .....great review!
+Twistygrip Fla Thanks for watching Twisty

+Twistygrip Fla Yea I needed something more readable
+Firstchoice Lastchoice That's is what I say !

WOODZMAN ADVENTURES
Is this an item that you would recommend?
+Steven DeMoss oh yes for sure, I live mine, I can raise my windscreen when on the Hwy and lower it when Off Road.
Help!
The bottom screws have fallen into the fairing, how do I get them back out?
Thanks, Jason.
+jason backes what bottom screws
+jason backes oh not the screws, you mean the nuts in the rubber grommet . It's hard to do, most people order new ones but I took my fairing apart and got them out
Thanks for that, I'm going to attempt to get the side fairing of to get them back out.
If you can hear cursing all the way where you are, it's me!
+jason backes haha it's not to bad. My air filter video shows how
Get ya some knobs and get some mud on that AT. I want to hear how it does in some nasty stuff.
+Sid Shelton That is in the future plans !
como faço para comprar esse acessório. ...obrigado
It’s a great mod for sure
97 Euro? How much did you send him.
I think it was around $100
aww man I thought you said Batman risers.
+AlmostFaster haha no lol Batzen
Kermits uncle rides an AT ?
Not sure why I would want this... Smaller windshields mean better mileage and a little wind... so what. Guess it's just not for me.
Mainly it keeps you head from buffering so much
