Got my Batzen last week and loving it. Using the stock windscreen for now. Haven't noticed any need for a taller screen as of yet. Install was a breeze, one of my (rubber) well nuts on the bottom wasn't installed properly from factory and nearly lost it. I use a dualsport helmet, dont experience buffeting and the wind seems cleaner. With all the clean air i get, i noticed alot of wind comming from around the windscreen hitting my shoulders. For reference Im 72in with a 38in torso (butt to top of head).
Bummer, it happens to us all. The easiest answer is to simply buy new screws and well nuts, because getting all the plastics off the front to fish them out is a huge pain! But if you do want to fish them out, you can try using one of the retractable pen type magnets, and poke around, or take remove the plastics. Honestly, buying new ones is the easiest way and there is no harm to be done with the screw just riding down inside the plastics until you need remove them.
Thanks for all the great vids! Do you still like the Batzen screen riser. I'm thinking of getting one for my 2017 AT. And do you have a fork shield for your AT? I've heard that those--specifically the one from swegotech--help with buffeting a lot. Thanks very much.
Jeff E. It is the factory standard screen. I recently switched to Touratech medium screen and love it. It is about an inch shorter than the Honda factory standard screen but has an aggressive lip at the top. Really pushes the wind up and around
I AM no actual. The high and low air pressure from around the screen and up through the handlebars make it so that you don’t feel the air from down below. It also doesn’t come up enough for it to be noticeable
HA! I thought that adjustment was stock because the previous owner already put it on there. DO you have any problems with hitting your barkbusters at full lock?
mactec78 I am 5ft 8in which is about 173cm. At stock height, the wind hit me right about the top of he head. I raise it up about half way when on the highway and it's perfect.
I have had mine for close to a year now, love it
How does one obtain a "Batzen Bracket"?
Props for the EveRide shirt. Good how-to as well.

Hi. I dropped the screws in. Do you have a link to how to get those out? What are my options? Thanks

Great information thank you👍🏻
Is that screen the factory screen or the taller touring screen from Honda? Thanks

What about the hole in the stock windscreen? It's it not now pushing additional wind into your chest due to that hole being raised?

Chatchai Sawetkhochakul it really just depends on how tall you aren’t I’m 5’9 and it is perfect. Taller than 6’0 I can’t say.
