These things LOVE baby shrimp and will fwooomp them for breakfast lunch and dinner...and this is one of the best ways to get them to spawn. If you don't wanna burn through expensive decorative freshwater shrimp, try breeding your own feeder brine shrimp.

I wouldn't recommend Convict Cichlids as they are ultra aggressive!

@@UriShasha I just had to get rid of my female convict a week ago who started to become the tank boss at half the size of my rainbows. Convicts are best kept with larger aggressive cichlids larger than them and or aggressive because they enjoy fighting yes I said it. I've seen way too many times over the years From my experience of trying to keep rainbows and convicts together over the years it's not worth it 1/1000 fish keepers luck up. Truth is convicts are cheap undesirable and mean theres a reason why they have that name more the attitude not colors. I had one male that got along with other fish. I still like convicts though I will never put them in a community tank ever again maybe a pond outside when I dig for my garden next year

Uri Shasha keyhole cichlids and medium sized community fish are better tank mates for multispinosa. Convicts are very aggressive and territorial.

i got a oscar with rainbows and texas, terror, convicts , Dempsey's and clown loaches....thay all get along great
You need to monitor them as they grow...they can reach to 10-12inch...
That’s not gonna last, rainbows get 4” and Oscars 14”. Those rainbows are gonna be a snack one day

I think convicts,jewels,and sajicas are all too aggressive for rainbows unless it’s a very large tank....really? Oscars and arrowana with rainbows? You’re joking, right
