Fat e-bike VS 20% Climb | Borealis Keystone

Here is one of the dedicated tests I recently did of the yet to be released Borealis Keystone electrified fat bike. I have never been able to clean this climb under my own power, a steep 20% grade that is fairly long, and has deep ruts and lots of loose and impregnated rock. I felt this would be about the best test I could give this bike to see how capable it was. Check out the full length review below.

Hi Tommy. I was encouraged (by both Borealis Keystone videos) that you found the (e-bike thing) to be helpful with some aspects, e.g. climbing, as well as not detracting too much from other aspects, e.g. descending.
I bought a Surly ICT in 2023, and I love it! I am aware that consistency with riding will improve my overall fitness level. That being said, I feel an e-bike option would increase my confidence to ride longer and explore trails I normally would avoid. Again, your reviews on this bike were extremely helpful with my decision making process. Thanks! Love the channel! 😃
