    I did a whole 4 minutes before I had to stop. But it's 4 minutes more than I did yesterday or the day before that for years, so I'm going to call it a good beginning.

      That's great. The hardest step is deciding to do this and then actually doing it so we already winning. Even if u only started with 4 minutes. I just started this again after many months of no exercise and I'm just doing 10 to 15 mins a day for now and I get sore almost right away but I keep my body moving even if I'm not following exact moves of the person in the video, I just do whatever moves if I'm struggling for a minute 😅 reminds me how bad of shape I'm actually in though. But any movement is worth it

    I struggle with depression which leads me to not eating well, so I get tired easily especially with the other workouts. This workout was made me feel so good, both physically and mentally. Your encouragement made me so happy. I feel great after having moved my body. Thank you so much for uploading this and doing what you do. :)

    This was my very first workout since my 3 major surgeries and my daughter passing away. I'm overweight and have been battling depression with everything that I have had going on. I was able to do this workout, it wasn't easy but doable. I will be back tomorrow for round 2! Thank you for making working out fun!

    Finally! a at home walking video that I can do! I'm 49 but I have hip issues and need a hip replacement in the near future. Doctor has me going to physical therapy and they don't recommend me doing anything I enjoy doing for exercise. no jogging, biking, elliptical..not even walking on uneven ground like trails, only walking on treadmill or at home cardio. so looking at some of these waking in place videos some of them are still too much for my leg, but yours is perfect. I have an OK range of motion, but it's not like normal so I have to watch over extending but yours makes it easy.. I need to lose weight and this is going to get me motavated!

    I am so glad to have found this. I am obese and disabled and you made me feel supported even if I had to stop and breathe for a bit. I went as long as I could and stopped to catch my breath and got up and did some more. It feels good to do a workout without feeling ashamed of my abilities.

    I turned 70 at the end of March. The last time I exercised regularly was when a had a three-month membership at our local YMCA in 1987 after my first child was born. Up until Covid, I felt no real need - I was busy with children, two homes, pets, one or two jobs at a time and then came the grandchildren....no worries! When the pandemic hit I began to work from home and by the end of the first year my blood pressure shot up to a frightening level and required medication to control, I gained what I call the Covid 19 - that is 19 pounds that I cannot lose! I always tended to be a homebody, but this was a new level. I could not and I still cannot bring myself to leave the house very easily and if I do, it's to safe, known places....On the 26th of April I found your 10 minute indoor walking workout. I can do this in my home office and I've managed to accomplish it every day that I am at home (I go into the office 2 days per week). I haven't lost any weight yet, but I remain hopeful! You are a miracle worker!

    I am absolutely happy to have found you. I use to be physically fit. But I have been physically ill for years now. I am about to have a few extensive surgeries but I’m needing to get stronger for those surgeries. Crossing my fingers your videos will help.

    Wow, that made my heart race more and sweat more than walking on my treadmill. Although my shoulders and neck are junk so doing the later arm movements really hurt, but I'm slowly working on it.

    This is great! I struggle with motivation plus I have problems with my knees, so something short that I can do at home with little space and that's low impact is perfect for me atm.

    Thank you, Jessica. I appreciated your explanation of why arm swing is important(spine). It was good to hear that doing the side steps(out-out-in-in) help with memory. Walking back and forth on the mat was kind of fun-could kind of get a groove going. I was pleasantly surprised how fast the time went. :.)

    My fitness journey has taken a 2 month halt while I've dealt with the death of my mother and clearing out her place.
    I've only just started getting back into walking again. We're in the middle of winter and just as I decided that I was going to go out and walk the dog the heavens opened and it started bucketing.
    Disheartened I picked up my phone and this video popped up on my notifications. I'm so glad, I still get to walk! (in my kitchen) 😊

      Was looking for a walking workout and there you were. Thanks for doing these for us. I’m pretty much limited to either walking or sitting to exercise as getting up and down from the floor is very difficult. So it’s great to be able to do a workout and still get the benefits of Pilates.

    I had a stroke 2 years ago and have some paralysis on my left side and little balance. I just did this workout in a chair. It was wonderful to move. See you tomorrow

    Due to wildfires here in 🇨🇦 our air quality is really bad so often times I don’t go out for walks as I don’t want to inhale smoke. So these indoor walking exercises help a lot.

    I have fibromyalgia and arthritis. I managed to do the first part. That's more than I've managed in a long time. One day at a time until I can do whole 10minutes 😊

    After looking at your videos, I see that you have several surgery related videos. I have been in physical therapy 13 times for various injuries and had distal head bicep reattachment and anterior cruciate ligament replacement surgeries. Numerous muscle and soft tissue injuries, etc., before backing off of the things that I got hurt doing and switched to yoga around age 50. I find that daily exercise has enabled me, so far, to maintain an active mostly pain free life at age 70. I tried to add this to my original post but it generated errors. Thought it was worth adding based on the questions I posed in my first post...

    Great workout, Jessica. You are in great shape, I can tell, so it's encouraging to note that people in great shape, such as Jessica, also lose their breath🙂You lose your breath in the great workout above, Jessica, which, like I say, is encouraging to people in less great shape, like myself🙂 Great advice too, when you encourage us to workout in motions and movements that suit us and our bodies.     Good exercise that can be done with 1 arm in a cast.
