I need to run 3 drives from 2 start/stop stations would you use a 24v power supply

Can you give more detail. When you say 3 drives, with 2 start/stop stations, presume the both stations work in parallel with each other, you can start the drive from both stations and stop as well? Do you want all 3 drives to come on with 1 start signal? cors start could come from any station.

@@IGSElectronics yeah that’s how I want them ..in parallel so I’m thinking ice cube relay with a latching circuit the NC going to the stop and NO for the start

@@jamesmcclain3588 Not sure how your system is set up, but if i would set up like that, i would use one relay with 3 NO contacts to start all 3 drives. Each drive has its own 24v output to run inputs, so each drive needs to return its own 24v output to its own inputs. Hope that makes sense.

What would you use R1, R2 and R3 for? I dont understand how those work

Hi Pablo. Those are relay outputs and they can be programed to be as alarms, monitoring and other signals, check out the selection in output parameter. By default usually the are set as alarms, so when it faults out it sends signal to panel light, PLC etc.

Hello. I am looking at buying a vfd like this 1 phase to 3 phase for a 0,75kw 1hp motor i want to instal it on a drill press so i no longer need to change the belt positions and just use the potentiometer to adjust rpm. What ik woud like to know is how can i wire in a emergency stop? I have seen there is a brake resistor available for these vfd’s and was wondering if there is a possibility to wire it so it can use the brake when the emergency stop gets pressed.
The control functions i woud like to have is
      Start
      Stop
      Reverse
      Pot meter to adjust rpm
      Emergency stop

Dude this is a great video and was very glad to find it. However, I watched it for the wiring of the start/stop buttons and you glossed over that so fast and just skimmed it and I was left confused. You might want to just spend more time showing the connection runs better to keep the confusion down. Thanks for the video though.
