We are on our first celebrity cruise. We did aqua class. We absolutely love blu and the thermal suite. We are definitely spoiled and can never go back.

@@lizzybennett4436 I’m glad you had a great first cruise. Once you go balcony or especially aqua class. You can never go below. I hope you continue to cruise 🚢

So, got a guaranteed concierge class thru my agent at the same rate as entry balcony. Took it and got a very nice A2 , aft on Constellation.

Sounds like an amazing cabin. Let me know how concierge class is on the constellation.

Just off the Ascent. Loved the cruise. We had concierge class. With the daily snack, we opted for cheese and fruit, because my wife is allergic to shrimp and other types of seafood. We loved having the cheese and fruit. Highly recommend.

I’m jealous. I’m glad you had a great time on the ascent. Hopefully soon I’ll be on a celebrity ship. Thanks for watching.

@@OnboardwithJonathan The infinite balcony surprised us and we didn't mind not having a true balcony. We actually spent more time there than we would have on a regular balcony. The highlight of the cruise was the Captain - Tasos Kafetzis and his cruise director Alejandro. They played off each other so well. This was the first time I ever had a Captain that was so involved. I can understand your feeling of concierge. Going Aqua class will never be considered...😀...Thank you for a great down to earth video.

Have you had any specialty dining aside of Blu? We’re cruising Alaska this fall in Aqua class cabin on X-Edge.

I have eaten at Tuscan Grille and Murano. Murano is wonderful. I think I would pick Murano over Tuscan but it all about your preferences. Thank you for your comments and watching onboard with Jonathan.

If you’re in aqua class Blu is your complimentary dining room instead of the large main dining doom. It was great. IMO totally wirth it.

You can also order off the main dining room menu if there’s something you like better that night. Just ask and your waiter will bring you the menu

Honestly you don’t need specialty. You can order off any of the main dining room menus including their venue specific menus. We are on the beyond right now and loving it

An additional Concierge Class benefit: the pillow menu. You can choose from a variety of pillows. We got a free upgrade to a Concierge cabin on an upcoming Beyond cruise in September. Looking forward to seeing the difference. Thanks for the info.

Wife and I typically do 12-14 night cruises. Over that duration of a cruise, in our experience, Aqua is typically $600-800 per person more than Concierge, so we typically just stick with Concierge, especially since neither of us are really into the whole "spa" thing which seems to be the primary driver for Aqua. But we did book a 12-night cruise in Aqua for next month because, on that particular cruise, Aqua was only $150 per person more than Concierge. Dining in Blu for only $12.50 per person per day was something we could pull the trigger on.
But the part that usually gets me is that, even though Aqua can be so much more than Concierge, as far as the Captain's Club goes, you earn the same number of points in the club between the two classes. It seems to me that if Aqua is consistently that much more money than Concierge, Aqua should be earning you more rewards points than Concierge. But that's just me.

I did - we booked Concierge class on Celebrity Edge 9 night cruise& as time got closer, they offered Prime Aqua which included a standard drinks package & wifi so we cancelled our Concierge booking, drinks & wifi package and reboooked in the Aqua - and saved $400 in the process.

Does Aqua class have a sofa bed?

I believe it does. I would double check the deck plan for specifics and also call the cruise line to confirm. Good question. Thanks for watching

Standard Aqua Class (or any class below) does not get you into "The Retreat" areas. You need to book Aqua Class Sky Suites which aligns with 'suites" and their designated restaurant is Luminae although you are allowed to dine at Blu or the MDR.
