- I have been wanting to do this project for years. It finally came to fruition and I couldn't be happier with them. I hope you love them.
I'm calling them "the twins", but they need names. If you have names for them, I'd love to hear it.
Stay tuned for more Halloween wall art. I'm working on a small Halloween gallery wall.

Drake and Esmeralda are the names that come to mind. I loveeeeee this idea.
Thank you so much! Those names are perfect! And I'll call her Esme for short. Twins Drake and Esme. Perfect!
"Tinkerbell's long forgotten little brother Alex, who fell prey to a non-clapper" is what I'd label him!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Tatl and Tael like the fairy siblings in Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask
Great names!
Definitely doing this, but possibly with bigger skeletons…wings won’t be resin, but you’ve sparked an idea.
Yay! I'm so happy I have sparked an idea for you. I would love to see what you make. ☠️
Lovely job!! I would call them Eek and Meek.
Beautiful job! Absinthe and Ambrose are my votes for names.
Those are fantastic names! Thank you ❤️
Wow, well done! They‘re cute and creepy at the same time.
I'm obsessed with this, I need it in my room like right now
🤣 you should try it, they are really easy to make. They are such a hit that I may make some more for my etsy shop, but it will have to be next season. I just don't have the time this year. So many projects, not enough time. ⏳️
Trouble and strife.great work
Great names! Thank you ❤️
These are brilliant, and so cool! I love them! It would be interesting to name them something not spooky like Fred & Ethel.
Aww, the Mertzes. I love it! ❤️
Good job!!! I always loved Lady Cottington's Pressed Fairy Book Book by Terry Jones.
I can't believe that I have never heard of that book before. I just looked it up and have decided that I need a copy. 😄
@@illuminaticsstudio Google "Brian Froud Fairies" and your book budget will be filled for the next ten years. Seriously, he did concept art for Jim Henson movies like Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, and The Storyteller. You can really see his influence in Legend (1985), too. Also look up his books Trolls, and Goblins.
Oh yes, I need them all! I actually have The Oracle. I've had it probably 20 years. One down, twenty more to go. Lol
Fantastic idea 💀🖤 🧚🏽♀️ 🧚🏽♀️🧚🏽♀️ I just might try making one 🎃🐈⬛🧙♀️
You should!
Omg!! I was grumbling about you using bat wings or dragon wings but now they do look like dried up fairy wings! Great job!!!
Lol, I had the same thought about the wings. I went through different possibilities for wings in my head - shrink plastic, plastic packaging with alcohol inks, acrylic sheets, or even the Tim Holtz wings. In the end I decided to experiment with resin and that mold (which I use for clay usually), and I could not be happier with the way they turned out. I'm glad you like them too. I hope you subscribe and come back for more. Thanks for watching!
Frick and Frack! Love these two! And all your great work! 😎🤙
Ha! I love them. The wings looks so nice and sparkly. Perhaps Oberon and Titania?
Thank you! A couple of other people mentioned those names, too. I didn't realize so many people liked Shakespeare. I love it! ❤️
Creepy and precious, my 2 favorite combos. Excellent video! 👏
🥰 thank you!
They've turned out great. Such a cool idea and you make it look like a project even I can do !
Yes you can!
I’ve used these kind of dollar store skeletons many times and you can get different poses by carefully using a heat gun to heat the plastic and bend it the way you want. Just hold it in place a few seconds until it cools.
What a fantastic tip!!! Thank you, I will try that.
Both Gruesome and Lovely at the same time!!
The immediate names that came to mind was "Navi" and "Tal", but "Fric" and "Frac" also sound good. Wonderful and creative. I have some plastic bell jars that I picked up at the dollar store and I think I'll echo you but make the fairy sitting on a branch. Good Job.
That sounds awesome! Great idea! 💡😍
Super wicked. Love the little pins! Perfect detail.
Thank you!
Just stumbled onto your channel! This outrageous!!!! I love them!!! I love Halloween way more than Christmas!!! It's just a fun holiday, with no stress!! And ---- you don't have to cook anyone dinner!!! And, my daughter was born on Halloween!!! So we are both super in to this holiday!! I think she was 6 before she realized Halloween was a holiday and not just for her birthday!!!
🤣 that's amazing! I wish my birthday was on Halloween. I would've had the best birthday parties growing up!
This is so. creepy. Well done!
I love it so much! I must find tiny skeletons ASAP!! ☠️⚰️👻🦇🕷️
🤣
Panty hose or sheer tights-like material stretched over a wire frame and spray painted can do the wings on a larger scale. I see these AWESOME AND APPRECIATED videos as more inspiration than how-to, tho I've benefitted from the how-tos plenty of times! I LOVE decorating for Halloween! It's definitely time to start thinking and planning.
And making! Made a vow to myself, can't start Christmas projects until Halloween projects are done. BOO, everybody!
The panty hose is a fantastic idea! Yes, my goal is to spark inspiration in people. I want people to watch my videos and get an idea for a project of their own. Like you did with the panty hose. 💡
Better get cracking. Time flies, and before you know it, Halloween sneaks up from behind. 👻
This is amazing. Such a great job, too! Love it. 🤘
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoy it!
Those are so cool. Love how you did the wings!
The pins are what put this over the top for me. Well done!
Wish I had your craft room.
🤣 it's a hot mess of a craft room! Thank you for your sweet comment.
It looks... Interesting. I think I'll try to make something like this myself, thank you so much for sharing!
I hope you do. Thank you!
Omg these turned out amazing!! Love the look of the sheer wings! Good call!! Where did you get that awesome mold?
Thank you so much! I purchased the mold from Amazon. I usually use it with clay and they come out beautifully. I have just added the link in the description box. Thank you for watching!
Ty so much!
How original! Beautifully executed! Love the fabric choice as well.
Thank you so much!
Very cool! Love the resin wings!
Absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous details and wow the, design, is outstanding a masterpiece right there ❤🎉❤🎉
Thank you so much!
How macabre I love them lol
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. ...WONDERFUL
I just found your video and subscribed! I love this!
Very nicely done, and extremely imaginative - both the idea and the execution! Thanks for sharing this!
Thanks for watching!
I saw a few other videos you posted of your projects. They definitely have a "Wednesday Addams-Look" to them, which is perfect for the upcoming Halloween season.
Thinking more on your request for what to name these two; though the character names are for Elves rather than Fairies, Nuada and Nuala would work. Oberon and Titania are also possibilities, and they are names of Fairies.
Again, thanks for sharing your imagination and crafting suggestions.
What a fabulous idea!!
This is sooo cool ...
Well done🦇💀🦴💖
Love this craft! Amazing Work! As for names I thought of Romeo and Juliet.
I actually have another idea for the last two skeletons from that set, and I was going to name those two Romeo and Juliet. Great minds think alike. 🤗
@@illuminaticsstudio Awesome! Well for these 🧚♀️ 🧚♂️ I recommend Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Oberon & Titania his wife they are king and queen of the fairies.
Love your art Ashley, subbed halfway through 1st vid. I made two of them back in 2019, made the wings from wire & tissue. Keep making! ❤
Welcome, and thank you so much! Wire and tissue paper is a great idea. I didn't even think of that when I was contemplating my options. Thanks for watching!
Oh my gosh, I love Halloween and I love these! I have the same skeletons, but no wings or frames. Time to go thrifting! ❤ Love the mold and resin idea. I’ll have to check your links. I’ve subscribed! Thanks for the inspiration! If I do something like this, I’ll mention you in my channel. Just fabulous!
Thank you so much! I hope you do try it. It was a quick and easy project.
Love it 🧙♀️🕷🐈⬛👻💀🦇🎃
Absolutely love this! ❤
Punch and Twinkle.
Mom's pair of childhood dogs. My pair of childhood cats. I think they'd make pretty good fairy names. Dead fairies, tho, not too sure. Herkamerk and Gildersnoot?
Brilliant
I absolutely love these, thanks for sharing ❤
I absolutely love these ❤
Absolutely wonderful ❤️
Was absolutely awesome!!

Igor and Ivan, maybe?
Just found your channel those fairy's are amazing. Can i ask where you bought the mould you used. Thankyou 🖤🖤
Hello, thank you for finding my channel. :) I am a new channel, just started posting videos about a month ago. I got the mold off of Amazon and have just posted the link in the description box. I have big plans for this channel, so I hope you come back for more. Thank you!
@@illuminaticsstudio thankyou so much. I wish you success with your channel. 🖤🖤
👍👌😘🥰😍
🤗
I have never been this excited. I have to do this and I have that mould too. You say its not supposed to be used for resin, but it is. Anyway, how tall were your skeletons?
Thank you so much. The skeletons are 6 inches tall. I hope you do make it. You'll love them!
@@illuminaticsstudio Thank you. Poured some more resin for the wings this morning, so I am ready. Must add that yours are the most realistic. Again, thanks.
How about names like "Frumple & Frizzale?
Those are fantastic fairy names!
Très beau ! Fée Viviane et Morgane peut être ? Avez vous une piste à donner pour trouver ce genre de cadre à customiser?
Bonjour et merci. I found my frames at a thrift store. I think it would work with any kind of frame you like. Thanks for watching!
Titania and Oberon?
A Shakespeare fan?! Good idea, I love that!
Oh, beautiful! What do the labels say, I cannot read on my screen.....
I'm sorry, I should've had a close up shot of the labels. They say Faeus Nonaglacies Common Fairy 001 and 002. Thanks for watching!
@@illuminaticsstudio OH How adorable! I think I could make up some botanic names for those freaky creatures, but yours are incredible! Thanks for sharing!!
These are adorable! Thank you for sharing! May I ask for a link to the pigment you put in the resin?
Thanks! I just put the Amazon link for them in the description. There are different sets. I've had mine for many years so my labels look different, but they're still the same. I use them for a ton of different things. They're really beautiful. Thanks for watching!
Cool idea but couldn’t you just talk instead of trying to watch and read
Hi 👋, thanks for watching. There are a few reasons why I don't talk (yet).
- I've only been making videos for 2 months and I'm not ready for that step.
- I don't have any audio equipment, or good equipment at all yet. I'm actually filming on an old cell phone.
- My craft room is right off the living room and doesn't have a door. So, there's never quiet.
- I don't really like my voice. Lol
As I grow and get better, I hope to get to a point where I feel comfortable talking in the videos. I hope you'll hang in there with me. 🤗
