IlluminaticsStudio
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 23 มิ.ย. 2013
Hello and welcome to my channel. I have been creating and crafting since I was little. After many years of friends and family urging me to make videos, I have finally decided to take the plunge. I am really excited and even more nervous. I enjoy crafting many different things, so there will be a wide variety of creates and crafts on my channel. Many of my crafts include lights or candles, hence the name illuminatics studio. I am an illumination lunatic!
I hope you see something you like and hopefully you become inspired by something I create. Please bear with me as I navigate through this new experience. There is definitely a learning curve when it comes to creating videos, however I promise to continue to learn and grow to bring you quality content.
Thanks for stopping by,
Ashley

Easy bows and tassels using ribbon scraps
มุมมอง 11311 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hello and welcome to my first video! In this video I use up every single ribbon scrap that I have to make bows and tassels. I needed to find a way to use up the scraps because one of my cats likes to eat them. If I hid them away, I would never use them. As we all know, out of sight, out of mind. Now I have plenty of bows and tassels for future projects or to put on gifts. And most importantly, ...

Very cool. Great job!
What a fabulous evil queen mirror. I love it. Love how you blended the air dry clay into the mask so well. Turned out amazing.
Great job on all three. I'm drawn to the skeleton picture, I love the details. Your gallery looks awesome. 😊Linda

You're welcome. 💀👍
Fabulous projects Ashley! Especially love Romeo and Juliet. Always inspired by your creativity.
Thank you so much!
I found an awesome frame at the thrift store & new it had to be a Magic Mirror. This is many steps up from a layered printable. Thanks for the inspo!
It makes me so happy that I was able to give you some inspiration. I hope yours turns out even better! Thanks for watching.
Awesome project. He looks great. 😊Linda
Thank you!
I love it! I think it looks fabulous! Tricky to make the top of the head look flush, but you did it! Great job! ❤
Thank you so much!! 💓
Great outcome. I love the look of your crystal ball.
Thanks! 🤗
Great work
What is the tool you use to grab the rhinestones?
It's called a wax tip picker tool or a wax pen. Put those into Amazon and you'll get a ton of options. They are life changing. Lol
Thank you!
Très beau ! Fée Viviane et Morgane peut être ? Avez vous une piste à donner pour trouver ce genre de cadre à customiser?
Bonjour et merci. I found my frames at a thrift store. I think it would work with any kind of frame you like. Thanks for watching!
These look awesome.
I have no idea how to dye polyfil, but if you have acrylic yarn in the colour you want to showcase, wrap it around a 3" width of cardboard and cut it down the length of your wrap. You'll now have 6" lengths of yarn. Next, fold them in half. Cord them over a dowel by passing the two cut ends though the loop making a fringe on the dowel. Take a cat brush and brush out the yarn from the dowel to the ends. It'll become fluffy. You can then just cut the fluff off of the dowel. Viola - vibrant fluff!
That's brilliant! My daughter is a yarner and has tons of yarn. I'll be trying that, thanks!
The immediate names that came to mind was "Navi" and "Tal", but "Fric" and "Frac" also sound good. Wonderful and creative. I have some plastic bell jars that I picked up at the dollar store and I think I'll echo you but make the fairy sitting on a branch. Good Job.
That sounds awesome! Great idea! 💡😍
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. ...WONDERFUL
Both Gruesome and Lovely at the same time!!
They look like the fairies from Labyrinth 🩸🧚🥰
Those are amazing!!!!
Love this craft! Amazing Work! As for names I thought of Romeo and Juliet.
I actually have another idea for the last two skeletons from that set, and I was going to name those two Romeo and Juliet. Great minds think alike. 🤗
@@illuminaticsstudio Awesome! Well for these 🧚♀️ 🧚♂️ I recommend Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, Oberon & Titania his wife they are king and queen of the fairies.
Cool idea but couldn’t you just talk instead of trying to watch and read
Hi 👋, thanks for watching. There are a few reasons why I don't talk (yet). - I've only been making videos for 2 months and I'm not ready for that step. - I don't have any audio equipment, or good equipment at all yet. I'm actually filming on an old cell phone. - My craft room is right off the living room and doesn't have a door. So, there's never quiet. - I don't really like my voice. Lol As I grow and get better, I hope to get to a point where I feel comfortable talking in the videos. I hope you'll hang in there with me. 🤗
I have never been this excited. I have to do this and I have that mould too. You say its not supposed to be used for resin, but it is. Anyway, how tall were your skeletons?
Thank you so much. The skeletons are 6 inches tall. I hope you do make it. You'll love them!
@@illuminaticsstudio Thank you. Poured some more resin for the wings this morning, so I am ready. Must add that yours are the most realistic. Again, thanks.
Tatl and Tael like the fairy siblings in Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask
Great names!
Wow, well done! They‘re cute and creepy at the same time.
That is very cool in deed...
How cool is that?! I have a whole cabinet full of wine bottle coasters and never once thought using them for anything else. So, if I could find myself a cast-off light globe...thank you for this fabulous inspiration!
Yay! I hope you do!! I think I'll be looking for more too. 😆
The pins are what put this over the top for me. Well done!
Wish I had your craft room.
🤣 it's a hot mess of a craft room! Thank you for your sweet comment.
Panty hose or sheer tights-like material stretched over a wire frame and spray painted can do the wings on a larger scale. I see these AWESOME AND APPRECIATED videos as more inspiration than how-to, tho I've benefitted from the how-tos plenty of times! I LOVE decorating for Halloween! It's definitely time to start thinking and planning.
And making! Made a vow to myself, can't start Christmas projects until Halloween projects are done. BOO, everybody!
The panty hose is a fantastic idea! Yes, my goal is to spark inspiration in people. I want people to watch my videos and get an idea for a project of their own. Like you did with the panty hose. 💡
Better get cracking. Time flies, and before you know it, Halloween sneaks up from behind. 👻
Punch and Twinkle.
Mom's pair of childhood dogs. My pair of childhood cats. I think they'd make pretty good fairy names. Dead fairies, tho, not too sure. Herkamerk and Gildersnoot?
Lovely job!! I would call them Eek and Meek.
Brilliant
The scorpion is so cool and the spider.
Love your talent.
Thank you 😊
Love the drawer pulls!!
Very cool! Love the resin wings!
Very clever!
Tulle works really well. I made one last year, I used purple tulle to put inside a globe that I bought from dollar tree that comes with its lid. Several years back I had found a purple tea light candle at Wal-Mart that changes colors with every blink. I placed it on the inside of the lid, turned it on and it looks great if I do say so myself🙃
Oooh, nice! Tulle is a great idea. 💡
I love all of these, but that mantis one is particularly cool to me for some reason.
